I contacted the claims Dept and after consultation they overturned their processing and processed my claims instantly. Fantastic service Thembka Mngomezulu
Iwyze do not live up to claims. I put twice a claim in and twice i was rejected. They request your documents to verify the claim. Then you get a few months of silence, no follow up. They assign *********** claims consultants. When you call them then they are disrespectful and keep on saying the person is on the line and will call you back. Old tricks. They must fire Sibongile Bopape. She causes the company to lose clients. I am rather moving to another household insurance company even though i have been with the company for 10 years.
Went for Breakfast and they serve it with hair. I was so disgusted, it spoiled my appetite. So unhygienic. Just said that they are sorry. The good came cold for breakfast on a cold winter's morn. What is next roaches
I have experienced a bank that is so unsupportive. I app**** for replacement debit and credit cards two weeks ago on the 1st of April at the Branch in Kenilworth Centre. I was told it takes 3 to 5 working days. I waited and on Friday 9th I contacted the Bank and was told that no one ordered the cards for me. I asked to be put through to the complaints department. They promised me the matter is going to be escalated and I will be contacted by the manager of the complaints department within 24 hours. Nothing happened. I phoned this morning 15 April at 10 am. They then only app**** for my cards and told me it will be forwarded in 3 to 5 working days. I phoned the complaints department and was told that the manager will call me back within a few minutes. Nobody phoned. Are they really so inconsiderate. I feel like taking my business to another bank. I have all my various accounts with Nedbank and this is the first time I am experiencing such bad services.
The Insurance Company a subsidiary of DSTV. Tried to con me into taking out a Premier Subscription Waiver Insurance Policy. They told me that I will be upgraded to DTSV premier for just paying an extra R42.46 on my current Compact Plus package. Sounds too good to be true. Being a loyal DSTV customer I fell hook line and sinker for this policy ****. I checked my DSTV channels, nothing upgraded. Check my account. I owe them R42.46 back dated to September 2023. I then wen through hell trying to get to this company MNS. Only to be told it is a Premier Subscription waiver Policy and no upgrade to premier. They promised upgrade for a year and then switch back to normal package. Be very carefull for these companies. Especially if the number is from KZN or Durban.

Dischem is misleading their customers. They have 20% discount adds flying above sales items. You as customer purchase the product not knowing that the price on the shelf us the discounted price. When I confronted the Manager at Kenilworth Centre branch they told me that they are making it easy fir the customer so that you don't have to work out the 20% discount. I told them it is misleading as you expect to get a 20% discount on the shelf price as there is no original price on the shelf. The response was that is how head office wants it. Totally misleading the customers, thinking they getting a discounted price at till.
I am having a difficult time getting hold of any employee at Iwyze. I have a household policy for a numbervof years. Now that I need to submit a claim due to a burglary, nobody is there to assist. I phone the claims department, you are put on hold. For a long time. Moby returns your call. When you finally get through, they say they going to assist you then they politely terminate your call. It is three days now and no success. Iwyze is quick to answer calls if you want to take out a policy but reluctant to assist when you need to claim. Extremely bad service and I am extremely disappointed.
Netbank Homeowners Insurance is the worst that I came across. My geyser burst on Monday morning 09 11 2020. I contacted the bank immediately. They said they will inform the company to come and assess. I told them that the water is running from the bathroom ceiling, which they logged as a seperate incidence. At 4pm the afternoon I had to phone again and only then did they send out the company to come and check the geyser. The geyser was replaced and I paid the excess fee. i immediately phoned Netbank as the water was running down the adjacent sitting room wall and into the ceiling. When I enquired from Netbank regarding the ceilings, they told me it is not an emergency and the turnover time for the company to come out is 48 hours. It is now Saturday when i phoned again. Now the re port is that the back office dealing with such cases opperates only from Monday ti;ll Fridays and I must phone back on Monday 16th to follow up on the request. I would like to know is this the kind of service that a major bank renders to their clients. I have been a loyal client for the past 34 years. I am disgusted with their lack of professionalism and disregard for their clients.
I am frustrated with the insurance component of Old Mutual. My dad passed away on the 3 March 2018. He had a life policy and my mom was the sole beneficiary. We went an Old Mutual branch to enquire about the policy and were directed to the head office in Pinelands. At the head office we were assisted by a financial advisor who informed us that it will take 10 working days to process the policy and we will be contacted via e-mail or letter regarding the option that she would like to take. Needless to say 10 working days has passed and no email or letter. We contacted the number we were given and the lady that assisted us told us that it would have been better if we emailed it to the claims department as thedocuments are at head office and it will be difficult to get from them. They will expidite the claim. We are still waiting. I contacted the claims department again and the assistant (Aviwe) was rude and brushed things off saying that he will pass request on to his manager Grant Engelbrecht to epidite the request. He then said i must wait for a questionaire to rate Old Mutual. What a joke when i wanted to do the questionaire it defualted and i was cut off. Old Mutual really sucks and I will not recommend them to any person. They are quick to use your money to enrich themselves but when it comes to process claims they are slow and drag their heels.
