Dealing with MFC has been nothing short of frustrating. Despite my account being up to date, I am constantly bombarded with phone calls from them every month. What's worse is that when I return their calls after missing one, they have no idea why they reached out in the first place. It's utterly pointless and a complete waste of time. On top of that, I specifically requested for my debit order to be moved to the last day of the month—when my invoices are settled as a contractor, not on some arbitrary "payday." Yet, this morning, I received a message saying that the debit order would run on the 27th "in line with my payday," which is both inaccurate and inconsiderate. The harassment doesn't stop there. If it's not constant, irrelevant phone calls, it's double deductions or random changes to my debit order dates without warning. It feels like they are going out of their way to add unnecessary stress, as if provoking you into losing focus or your peace of mind. I strongly recommend steering clear of MFC. Their practices are not only unprofessional, but they make you feel like you’re being deliberately messed with. Save yourself the headache and go elsewhere.
The excessive phone calls to be informed about absolutely useless services or to be told they are checking on you - like seriously, W T F???? We are not friends. If I don't owe you, what business do you have calling every single week? Jesus Christ!!! I wish I could die!!!! You phone calls are annoying.
This is not a joke. I literally get called every day for absolutely not effing reason. Here is a screenshot in case you don't believe me: I don't owe these guys a cent and they even dedicated funds from my account twice last month and it was a battle to get a refund. I get called to ask if I'm taking care of their asset - like what the efff? The other day he said they were calling to thank me for a payment. I honestly don't appreciate the thousand call which make totally no sense.
I wish people could read reviews before giving this useless company business. The delivered an MTN LTE router which wasn't working - they insisted it was working until I got fed up and drove to Roodepoort to drop it off at their premises. They tested and it wasn't working. They have since been refusing to cancel the service. I get sent invoices and my account in being debited and I don't even have service anymore. Support tickets just get closed without any assistance - 5 tickets to date just got closed without anyone ever reaching out. I wish this company could go down the very same drain other similar companies like them went, the Kululas and the Edcons of this world. There is no company here but a circus full of *********** clowns. I pray their day of demise comes very soon... Useless *******!
It's really sad. My girlfriend ordered food and the driver claimed to have delivered and sent a photo of the food. We live in a gated community where you can't enter without a code. The driver didn't even bother texting or calling. He simply dropped the food wherever he dropped the food and claimed it was delivered. My girlfriend tried explaining and she was never refunded. I have always used Uber for food and travelling and I'm done. I'll never again entertain a company that promotes such nonsense ever again. NEVER!! Ties cut, just like that.
I logged a cancellation for 31 January 2024 at the end of November, right after the December invoice ran. I was told there was a R2700 cancellation fee, which I then called to arrange to pay with the January 2024 invoice as the amount was a surprise and was not budgeted for and I called in three times to make sure all was well and I was given the assurance that all was well. Today, 12 December I got cut off and not because I missed my monthly subscription but because they want the cancellation free (60 days before the cancellation) even after arranging to settle the surprise amount with the very last invoice. The sad thing is your have adults on the other end - people's parents and it's like you're dealing with little children. I have had issues with Home-Connect ever since and I have used the company twice (2 years and not just over 11 months) and things like this always happen. It's as if the company is run by pre-school children. If I were you, I would take my money elsewhere... Home-Connect doesn't deserve your money.
Firstly, I have been accused of not paying my VAF account since April (even though payments went on as usual and with a buffer every month). My credit record shows the account has been in arrears since April, which is totally incorrect. You acknowledged that without an apology and then I asked about the credit bureau listing and I have since been asked irrelevant questions by whoever opens up the tickets. I cannot keep answering the same questions multiple times and days apart. You need to fix the listing on my credit listing and stop *****ing around.
There is no way on earth I'm going to speak highly of you. My experience from hosting (when you bought Serve Hosting) to my family and friends' fibre not even matching the speed your offering is a total joke. A whole company of your age acting like a little child. It's really sad to watch what you're offering your paying clients. I'll make sure everyone of them finds a company that will take them serious and offer them what they are paying for. You are a sad case and I will NEVER EVER EVER recommend you to anyone - not even my worst enemy.
It's really sad how easy it is for one to be taken a fool of when all they want is their refund back. After referring my friend and my mother I have nothign but regrets. The level of service is really unprofessional and you'll even get attitude coming from the management. I wouldn't recommend this company at all after my experience. They went from a 5 star to a 0 star and I WILL NEVER EVER EVER RECOMMEND OF EVEN USE THEIR SERVICES EVEN IF THEY ARE THE LAST COMPANY LEFT ON EARTH. It's sad how easily people ***** their reputation.
Telkom opened a business account without my concern and now I'm responsible for payments even after providing evidence. The VOIP number was never activated and I never received any hardware. The address used was last occupied in 2016. They asked for evidence and an affidavit and they send their last invoice still insisting I owe them. What a bunch of idiotic and incompetent people all working for one company. I'm taking the matter further with my legal team and this will be the last time you'll ever see me or my business/es.
