I placed an pre-order with iStore on the 13/09/24. They have been keeping me on hold for weeks. No Stock. They sent me a SMS update on the 2nd October with good news. Your order has been secured and will be delivered by the 8th October. Please look out for communication from our courier. I waited patiently till the 8th. No delivery. They gave me a call telling me that there is still no stock, after I had been waiting at home patiently for the courier to arrive. After this I lost all interest in receiving the unit and decided to cancel the order. Today the 15th October they respond, telling me that it will take 10 - 14 working days for the refund to reflect in my account. Totally unacceptable.
Be warned when taking out insurance with them. You start out with a low premium and then they gradually increase it every year. Even when you don't claim. There premiums are also different every month. The Ultimate plan is R650.00 per month as advertised on their pricing and cover. My last debit order for Nov was R991.80. The one before that was for R602.29 and the one before that was R763.31. Does that make any sense at all.
I placed an order with them on the 27th March. When you try to get hold of them, you just receive an error message. Impossible to get hold of anyone. This will be the first and last time i will ever place an order with them
Harassing me for payment, when an arrangement was put in place and I have been keeping to my arrangement.
I have two connect packages with FNB that I took out for my wife and son. WHY do they not have connectivity when there is load shedding. When I took out the FNB connect packages, it was explained that FNB connect works off other networks (VODACOM & MTN). So WHY do they have problems with no connectivity, when I have connectivity using VODACOM when there is load shedding???? It is pointless trying to call them as they are no help at all.
I have just spent 2 hours of my time on the phone trying to get hold of someone at FNB to sort out my business credit card. I cannot get hold of my buisness banker or the person that has been put in her place during her absence. Tried call their business line 10 time. Cannot make out what there automated answering service is saying half way through the message and repeatedly get cut off. You just do not get good service anywhere in this country.
My buisness has not been doing well over the past few months due to my ill heath COVID (POTS). I tried calling their call centre near the end of February to make arrangements for my next debit order that was coming off in March. The consultant that took my call said that no arrangement can be made until the debit order is returned and it is too late to stop the debit order. I then waited for them to get back to me and explained that I was expecting fund and will make the payment as soon as possible. They then called me first thing every morning reminding me to pay. I received funds and paid them as promised. I then received a SMS from them as morning that no payment was made. WHY did they not deduct the funds from my account? It is absolutely pointless trying to communicate with them.
When the broker tells you that you only need a doctors sick certificate. Believe me it is not that easy. I have been battling with COVID since the 25th December. The doctors diagnosed me with long COVID (POTS). I was booked off by a specialist up and till the 7th February. I have still not fully recovered and ended up in hospital again with high blood pressure and heart rate. I could not see the same specialist again as he was full booked up and till August. My GP then booked me off further. They would not accept the GP sick certificate. The GP then referred me to another specialist. The specialist booked me off with a clinical note explaining why she has booked me off. They still will not accept it. I have not been able to work from the 7th February up and till now and they refuse to pay me out. I am now sitting with the symptoms and no funds to pay my bills.
When signing up with FMI, be very careful what you sign up for. They never just need a doctors certificate. I am a flooring contractor that spends most of my day overlooking sites, doing quotes, making sure all the material is delivered to site and seeing clients. According to them i only do admin duties. I just had a shoulder operation where it has taken two months of rehab. The doctor booked me off for a further month on light duty to get slowly back into my work routine. It is impossible after two months of rehab just to go back to work like nothing has happened. It has been a absolute nightmare to get them to pay. Doctors motivational letters, report and several email.
I have been battling for weeks to get my buisness profile to work. Buisness manager Fahiema Salie was going to assist me. I have been trying to get hold of here on her landline that does not exist and her emails fail to go through. Everytime i make a complaint, all i get are apologies that mean NOTHING. There are no word to discribe how disgusted i am with the service they offers. They should really change there log to "how can we not help you"
