Whatsapp does not work. Never has. Never will. You wait over an hour for poor service from agents who have absolutely no clue what they are doing. Using scripted responses for technical issues. Pathetic. I am canceling this ****py service. This is my last month with this pathetic service provider. I suggest everyone reading this review does the same. If you have other options use them. Don't use this provider. They are the worst.
Service has been down since 09h00 this morning. A call to the contact centre ended with a consultant advising after 10 hours they still cannot provide a timeframe and the call being terminated by the agent. Extremely rude. This company should just end this ISP business. They cannot do it. They don't know how. Buying up every area and unable to provide a proper service.
So this company gives you R50 free bets and when you win they take a week with your FICA Ensuring to cannot cash out the winnings. They are a *****ulent company. Heed this warning. These people are *****sters and will not pay out your winnings. The gambling board should shut them down.

You are legally entitled to pay out a percentage of what your punters play but based on my experiences that is definitely not the case. I think anyone reading this review should close your Hollywoodbets accounts and go somewhere where your loyalty will be appreciated. Hollywoodbets has lost the plot. For months now I have been paying for a 40mbps line and getting 10mbps speeds. I have a fibre connection. Called...rather chatted to the WhatsApp idiots who logged a fault. No sooner was the fault logged then it was closed as "resolved". Nothing had been resolved. Fix my connection or cancel my service. Vumatel is ****. Move my service to some other internet provider who can keep a promise and if you can't cancel my damn service. I refuse to pay all that money for a sub-standard service
I called in to the call centre THRICE and each time I spoke an agent by the name of Khanyesile. I wanted to enquire as to why a payment which was made into my account is still not reflecting. I have reference number and everything at hand. This girl is so unprofessional and incompetent. No attempt to assist and when i asked for a supervisor she dropped the phone ..THRICE. Is this what customer service means at absa now? Pathetic. Get rid of that girl. I demand disciplinary action and a refund for the R50 airtime i just wasted.
A debit order attempt was made on my account of R243. There was no money in the account at the time. I went to deposit the money in the account so that the debit can be paid. The debit rejected again. Reason: Webafrica is now attempting to debit R529. I have proof that a Webafrica agent told me that only the prorata amount is due on the 16th and the full subscription amount due on the 1st. What irritates me most is that Webafrica only have a WhatsApp customer line. You send a message at 08h00 and get a response at 11h00. I get give a complaints email address. I send an e-mail and guess what... complaint closed without any attempt to resolve. **** poor customer service. So disappointed i switched my services over to this provider who rather run and stick their head in the dirt rather than answer the tough questions Not even the decency to pick up the phone. Rather leave you st the mercy of staff armed with nothing but scripted responses. Pathetic.
I changed service providers and Vumatel is taking their own sweet time to update my modem settings after I already paid the activation fee. I called the contact number and get greeted by this call centre is closed please speak to your service provider who cannot assist you in any way because this is our responsibility but we have absolutely no intention of assisting you, we will do it in our own damn time. Pathetic service.
I have 2 Swift payments paid into my account already and both were in my account within 2 days of processing. Last week another Swift payment was made, I called in and was asked to send proof of payment so that ABSA can investigate. Your agents in the international banking centre are so rude and no help at all. No attempt made to investigate and when I requested to speak to manager she was even less helpful and reprimanded me. What **** is this.Do they think because it's international banking they don't need customer service skills. I am closing this account. Enough is enough with your pathetic service
