I ordered a quite expensive (for me at least) air-conditioner from Builders Warehouse on 05 December 2024, and the online order platform advised that the installation would be done on 10 December at 10:00. I took time away from the office to ensure that I was home when the Installers arrived - 10:00 arrived and went with no-one arriving. I called the Builders Call center at 10:20 and was advised that I should be patient, the Installers would get there. No-one arrived. On the Wednesday I again stayed home - still no installation. I called the Call Center, posted a complaint online and did everything I could to get this order completed. Wednesday came and went without success. On Thursday I was advised that the installation would be done on 17 December - completely unacceptable! I again contacted the call centre and lodged a complaint on every portal I could. The team at Builders Warehouse took notice. I was contacted by the Call Center (instated of me phoning every two hours) and advised that the installation would be done on 13 December, no time specified. On 13 December I waited and waited - at an 15h15 thy arrived. The work is done, done very well and I am happy with my purchase. Well done to the team who turned around a one star complaint to a satisfied customer in three day - thank you!
Never buy from Builders Warehouse! This is the second time I have made a purchase from Builders Warehouse online and for the second time I have had the most pathetic service ever! I was due to receive my EXPENSIVE air conditioner on 10 December 2024 at 10:00 and yet still find myself suffering in this heatwave without my purchase. No-one at Builders Warehouse seems to be able to find the Installer that has been paid to complete my installation - neither can they find my purchase. I have never had such pathetic service in all my life! NEVER BUY FROM BUILDERS - HIRSCH'S IS BETTER PRICE AND THEIR SERVICE IS SPECTACULAR!
Wow - what excellent service, I bought and paid for a gas refill at 09h49, and at 11h49 I had the delivery man at my gate with the gas bottle I had ordered. Brilliant!
Firstly, my delivery was late, when it arrived 50% of the items had not been delivered and the "Frozen Meals" were not frozen. Exceptionally poor service - I will not advocate using their service and most certainly will not do so again!
I was contacted by 4Sure Installation Services on 30/12/2021 to arrange delivery and installation of an item by 31/12/2021 however after 5 different calls from their call center, no delivery arrived - this was only after I contacted them to find out what was going on - nothing has happened to date. I have never received such poor service from a supposed "White Glove Service" Installation company!
PATHETIC! I have ordered a delivery and am still waiting for it 3 weeks later! CAN SOMEONE PLEASE CONTACT ME ABOUT ORDER 2011964260
It is a poor indictment of a company to accept payment for an item and advise only afterward that they cannot deliver. I am now out of pocket for something purchased as a condolence gift for my mother for whom I purchased something expecting to be able to offer a gift to show my love and support during this terrible time. Due to COVID19 I cannot even offer a physical demonstration of my support but must resort to a gift, and now I cannot even offer that. If the website had stated "out of stock" I could have bought something else, but at no time was there any such indication. Very very poor company practice and I will never do business with this organization again.
I logged a claim on 06 June for electronic equipment that was damaged due to a power surge and after paying the excess on 01 August once the claim was approved, I received delivery of the insured goods. My husband advised me that the parts replaced were incorrect and sent the items back to the supplier whereupon I asked Discovery again for assistance as the claim was not complete. It is now 06 September and I still have no help from Discovery and no-one is contacting me to advise what is going on - this is unbelievably poor service and I am looking for an alternative insurance company. Well done Discovery, you've just lost another customer!
Unfortunately there is not an option for negative stars. I damaged my car slightly over the weekend and need a panel on the bottom of the car to be clipped back in. I approached Ford Paul Maher (Beyers Naude) today for assistance and was told that just to look at the issue was a cost of R500.00 (Five hundred rand). The entire matter would likely take them less than 3 minutes but I would be charged for someone to take a look (R500) and then if there was a cost to replace a part there would be an additional charge. I understand paying for a new part but since when do we accept being charged for a quotation? I have been a customer of Ford Paul Maher (Beyers Naude) for over 2 (Two) years and originally bought my car from them - I never expected such a slap in the face, or to be so bitterly disappointed by them. I will never ever advise a person to buy a Ford and especially to do business with Ford Paul Maher (Beyers Naude).
I recently took my two year old car for a service at Ford Paul Maher in Northcliff and, exactly as happened last year, a week after the service was complete I got a spanner light on the dashboard reflecting that there was something wrong and I needed to take the car back to the Service Center from them to repair it. Naturally I was very annoyed as my time is very limited and I will not have the opportunity to take the car in to be repaired until early next week. My husband contacted Ford Paul Maher to resolve the problem urgently as I was , at that time, stuck in traffic and needed urgent assistance. Trevor (the owner) and Wayne took the call and immediately contacted me to provide a solution that would solve our issue. Wayne took the time to come to our home after hours and reset the computer which took care of the issue immediately. His quick response and action resulting in excellent customer service resolved our issue in a positive manner and has left us with a very positive view of Ford Paul Maher. Thank you Wayne and Trevor!
