I requested the cancellation of my MTN contract. I have given notice on the 16th of October again after the first attempt a month earlier. I phoned 135 on the 18th November to check if the cancellation was completed and to be on prepaid with the same number. (Luyolo) assured me at 09:15 that this will be effective the same day. I checked again today the 19th of November with (Buhle) and were told the contract will only be changed on the 16th of December. Thus, *****ing another month's subscription as my contract ended on the 16th of November. The service agent even asked questions of a personal nature why I want to cancel the contract. This is totally unacceptable, and I want MTN to take immediate action and also give proper feedback.
Telkom home fiber. I have an Openserve fiber line that work with a debit order in place. Telkom duplicated 2 different accounts and bills for the same Address, ID and Name. They even tried to deliver an additional 2 routers. I received logon SMS with unknown names. I have wasted many hours on the service call line, email without success. Some of the call agents will terminate the call if it sounds like work. They claim claw back fees of R1662.24 × 2 for routers that Telkom duplicated. I received excellent service from Openserve with the line installation. Telkom orders and accounts is a mess. Steer clear of Telkom and save yourself endless problems.
I advise people to check any company for negative reviews before doing any transaction with them. My concern is that especially in South Africa none of the company's does not respond or act on these complaints. For example, have a look at MTN with whom I personally had very bad experience and arrogance from all their so-called help line. I cancelled one of two MTN contracts (early cancellation and paid more than R900 on 23rd January 2023) eventually the line was transferred to prepaid on the 7th of March but still get billed R234.50 for the 7th of March. Bottom line I personally will never do any business with MTN
MTN hates Customers.! A decades old customer and can't get help from agents. I have cancelled 1 off 2 contracts to be changed to prepaid. Paid "Early cancellation" fee of R929.43 on the 23rd of January. Contact person Gosego Sekwele. Mail Gosego.Sekwele@mtn.com. After numerous calls to the various departments and without any positive outcome still not resolved. My advice to the public is to steer clear from MTN. They are bad news.
Poor/zero service in our area Eastvale Springs Gauteng. After reporting to MTN signal improved for a short while and collapsed again making it impossible to communicate and make calls. Even with Reference number: 9d2f875b-e395-4237-b036-e573cc2867de nothing improved. My first report to MTN on 19 December 2022.
Mweb Poor service. Zero response on complaints via their own website. Stay away as only the monthly account work without problems. I have submitted a screen dump on the slow speed both download and upload. Fibre down for hours today and on a regular base. Springs Gauteng area

Test drive at Williams Hunt Centurion on Opel Crossland X. The Dekra report with Report number 2015582181. I found problems on the vehicle that is not on the report. I truly believe that report is not original and might even be false. This car should not be allowed on the public roads due to the dangerous braking problem. 1. The report read automatic transmission while this is a manual transmission. 2. The brakes did not work properly at all. 3. Engine performance under standard. 4. Clutch far out of normal limit due to wear. 5. Diagnostics not conducted or reported. 6. Gearbox oil leak obvious. 7. Various rubber components not correctly fitted or missing in engine compartment
SO called uncapped Fibre internet provided by Mweb on the Vodacom system is without any battery backup in the event of a power outage (Load shedding) resulting in a useless system. This impacts the whole of Eastvale and Dersley Park Springs and possibly other areas. Make sure about this fact before installing.
