Upon a "locksmith" coming to our property, we received an invoice from some other service provider, not whom we initially contracted, over priced and unnecessary replacement of a lock, which sells for under R400 in the market and this company charged us just under R1000 for. This company is NOT A REGISTERED locksmith, merely a handyman company, charging professional locksmith pricing. Locks n More come up 1st in a search for Locksmiths near me. When questioned about the shoddy workmanship received they responded by saying that they are merely a call center. Misrepresentation to the ninth degree....
Please explain to me why if I go into your store and ask for a quotation on a screen replacement, whereby my screen is clearly cracked, do I need to book my phone in for a damage report? And pay R170.00 for this, only to land up giving me a quotation for a screen replacement, which I asked for initially? This makes absolute no sense to me and feels like an additional way to make money out of your customers.
Despite having settled my account months ago, Finance 27 keep listing on my ITC profile that I have not been paying. I have sent numerous emails and tried calling their offices with absolutely no response whatsoever. I am at my wits end and do not know what to do anymore. I implore other people experiencing the same or similar issues to come forward and let us put a class action against this seemingly fraudulent company.
I have been a customer of Connect Financial Solutions for a year now. I have never missed a payment. I have been trying to get a settlement letter from them and all they do is transfer the call over and over again. I am going to lay an official complaint against them with the Ombudsman. You remain holding on the line for way too long a time. I am shocked and dissapointed that they feel it is right to treat customers this way. My sentiments are obviously met by seeing all the similar complaints on Hellopeter's website.
I purchased and took delivery of my couch set two weeks ago (October 2019). My three seater recliner is broken and this was reported immediately to The JD Group as per the instructions received on how to report this problem. I received a call within 48 hours after reporting the issue and arrangements were made for the following Monday for someone to be sent to my home to assess the product, and either repair or replace. I arranged that someone be at my house the whole day to wait for Rochester to arrive - they did not. I tried and failed to speak to anyone regarding this. I then received a call on the Thursday after the Monday to apologise and promised me that someone would be there that day. I rushed home and arranged that someone was available to receive them, this time. Noone arrived. It is now the following week. I cannot get hold of anyone telephonically. Emails go unanswered. I financed my furniture through The JD Group and I have no doubt that when the time comes to collect the first debit order, they will not hesitate to take it. And if I do not make that first payment - I have no doubt that they will remember my number and phone me very quickly. What to do, What to do..........?
Harassment would be a kind way to describe the dealings I have had with MBD Attorneys to date. After many, many months of pleading and begging for my matter to be escalated to management for finalisation, still nothing has happened. I still get called, sometimes up to 4 times a day by poor call centre staff who get my name and number on their computer screens as the next person in line to call. They are rude, abusive and completely uninterested in the matter. I am not sure what my options here are, but I will certainly explore them and take them up. This is abuse and harassment at the highest level, and I cannot believe that this is legal or even best business practise.
The best service I've ever received from any company hands down - and before 7am on a Saturday morning!! Well done...
