I have been waiting for assistance regarding a special request payment that I made for my daughters educational needs. The application was submitted on 06/01/2026, and to date I have not received any response. I have spoken to multiple agents, and the last agent I spoke to was Bonolo Malawa. I was advised that the matter would be escalated to the manager, Phindile Mkhize. However, to date, I have not received any call or email providing a detailed explanation for the delay in the payment. A consultant has confirmed that the bank verification has been completed and that the matter is awaiting Finance to release the funds. I would appreciate a clear update on the status of this payment and the reason for the ongoing delay. I look forward to your urgent response.
Its almost a month now with this whole claim process , the claim was submitted for a cracked screen but now idroidlab is claiming that there is a problem with the phones battery. how I don't know!! as I have never had any issues with the battery , battery life was ok , have never had any signs or my phone showing any indication of having battery problems .I don't know if this is a way to bill MTN more money , who knows . at this point I just want my phone , this claim process is tedious and has left me at uneasy , my anxiety and emotionally I am not ok . my life is onhold , I cannot excess anything both my sim and phone is with idroidlab . MTN may I please just get my phone back , do not do any more testing !!just give it back ., it seem like the moment one thing is fixed the is another fault , makes you wonder how it was not initially picked up immediately when the phone got to the repair center/when the 1st testing was done . again may I just get back what is mine !! clearly with both companies there is just no TCF .....

I submitted a cellphone insurance claim around the 15 MAY 2024 , received an email stating claim approved and I have to pay an excess. excess was paid on the 20/05/2024 and proof of payment was sent to MTN . I kept calling MTN to find out what was the next next and they just took their time responding .My phone was only collect on the 05/06/2024 after 11 working days of waiting . I called MTN device insurance department to find out how far my claim is and I am not getting any proper feedback , emails have been sent and no one is responding . The consultants cannot confirm whether the phone was received by the repair center on not , yet give me a turn around time of 7 - 14 working days for the phone to be fixed once it gets to the repair center. at the moment there is no turn around time as they don't know where my phone is and have to investigate . It 16 working days since have submitted the claim and have no assurance if my phone is being fixed or If I will ever get it back.
It’s been 3 weeks now seeking assistance for a Balance Certificate for my late moms home loan account My mom passed away on the 7/03/2024 .We looking into applying for letter of Execution. Not getting response from you is putting everything on hold We go to different bank branches every week and the calls take up to 2hours just being on hold and waiting on your assistance or someone to pick up the call. Emails as well no response. But why not have an agent inside the branch to assist with such matter/ Deceased queries relying on calls and emails seems not to be helping as its been 3 weeks now no movement.
Till today 3months later l still have inactive fibre. When you want to cancel the contract they’ll tell you of cancellation cost of a service that they fail to deliver , regret even showing interest in the fibre , like it’s irritating , every time l have to call about a service that is not work and they are good in sending invoices but not service delivery
I have a cellphone contact with MTN which I also took insurance for it with MTN . Lost the phone around October and submitted my claim ,paid for access and was promised a new phone would be delivered . December 2019 phone was not delivered was told that due to bad weather and heavy rains the Courier company is having delays . January 2020 still nothing , No one at MTN botheres to call me . Followed up and was told that the courier company got hijacked phones where stolen and they will get back to me regarding getting a new device , even then they never called. No one actually bothers to call l always have to follow up. Consultants are the worst they have ran out of excuses. We are now in Feb still no contact from MTN , l follow up every week and I'm not given a clear response as to when I will get a new device yet money is being deducted from my account every month . When I call MTN it sounds somehow like they are not willing to assist , the issue is with the courier company and it is them now that are reliable in giving me a phone , my problem is with that l do not have a contract with the Courier Company l actually have a contract with MTN ,So therefor communication should be between me and MTN. One of the consultants that l have spoke to from MTN actually wanted to give me the address and contact details of the Courier company so l can ask about my phone , I am being told that Courier company has opened a case and so forth .How long should l wait to get a new Device ??
I do understand with the issue we having of load shedding, but the service is just bad, I try to make an order by the drive through, then they tell me the is no electricity, of which electricity came back like 30 mins before.when I tell the lady that but the is electricity then he responds with an attitude \Haibo sisi phela is and a kubuya
Wow bonus airtime, how can one get R55 free airtime then with that airtime you only get to make less than 5 minutes of calls, regardless of the billing being changed to R2.90 per minute without being informed mxm. think it's time I port to another network,everything about MTN sucks network connections sucks like everything is just bad ,never ending problems.
