Worst company mtn could use as insurance repair center
Poor quality work 3 times come back 4th time complained to insurance that the phone is not getting tested and fixed properly battery issue and phone splitting, got my phone back 3 months ago from them. Bad bad service and the way they treat there staff is disgusting....very ****ed 😤 seems like battery is swollen aswell. There was nothing wrong with my battery it used to last longer than a day now it doesn't even last half a day

Worst Repair Centre
Its almost a month now with this whole claim process , the claim was submitted for a cracked screen but now idroidlab is claiming that there is a problem with the phones battery. how I don't know!! as I have never had any issues with the battery , battery life was ok , have never had any signs or my phone showing any indication of having battery problems .I don't know if this is a way to bill MTN more money , who knows . at this point I just want my phone , this claim process is tedious and has left me at uneasy , my anxiety and emotionally I am not ok . my life is onhold , I cannot excess anything both my sim and phone is with idroidlab . MTN may I please just get my phone back , do not do any more testing !!just give it back ., it seem like the moment one thing is fixed the is another fault , makes you wonder how it was not initially picked up immediately when the phone got to the repair center/when the 1st testing was done . again may I just get back what is mine !! clearly with both companies there is just no TCF .....

Negligence repairing customer device.
Avoid their service wherever possible. Phone was sent in via MTN Insurance November 2023 got it back November still and mentioned that the phone was replaced with non-original LCD as my fingerprint sensor was no longer present in the phone options. It had a on display fingerprint reader. After struggling to get the phone to be collected the second time to fix the issues that Idroid created. (no fingerprint reader, back cover not closed properly), it got collected in January 2024. After trying to follow up for weeks with no feedback from anyone, now on the 4th of March I find out that the phone is beyond economical repair... Phone was working fine just needed to have LCD originally repaired as the LCD was cracked, not 4months later is not repairable. I would not trust Idroid Labs with any device. They do not care for your device and take their own time.

I'm so disappointed in Idroid lab bedfordview
I am so disappointed in this company. September my phone went in for a screen replacement and come back with multiple problems. Michelle that had the nerve telling me I damage my device where I have foto's of how my device everytime my device was returned back to me. I will definitely not recommend them to anyone.

Don't be put off by the old reviews - these guys are legit
MTN Insurance sent my phone here for repairs. Their courier couldn't figure out whether my phone had been delivered so I looked up the recipient on the waybill. I was really shocked and concerned about the bad reviews. I phoned the lab, and the lady who answered confirmed my phone had arrived. I told her about my concerns. I asked her whether she was aware that all the reviews on HelloPeter are one star, and she pointed out that the bad reviews were all old - 2020 and before. She assured me that Idroid Lab had improved vastly and offered to personally check my device before sending it back. Six days later my phone came back and it is pristine. It's like brand new. I actually can't tell whether this is my old phone, it very well could have been replaced with a new one. Don't be put off by the bad reviews - this business has shaped up quite nicely and I'm very happy with them. That said, I would not recommend MTN Insurance. My phone was sent in for a cracked screen (and I'll maintain that I got more out of the repairs than I bargained for) the excess I had to pay was over R400. A brand new screen would have probably cost around R800 and been done quickly locally. I would have opted to go that way instead and pay out of pocket.

Idroid lab and mtn are disappointing
My phone had liquid damage mid August,i called Mtn and the send a courier to collect my phone after 3 weeks it was sent back but the phone was shutting itself down after few minutes of opening i called Mtn again and they sent my phone back to Idroid lab and when they send it back after two weeks it had the same problem i called them mtn again and i even called Idroid lab to explain the problem and the phone was collected again and came back on the 22 of November and it still has the same pro lem after almost 4months of them trying again and again but still the technicians were unable to repair the phone. I dont know if the check the phones before sending them back or something. Idroid im very dissapointed, im waiting for them to collect it again.
