Wonderful atmosphere, great good, and the portions are amazing compared to the Cresta branch. They also had different flavors of the soda whereas the Cresta one only has 1 soda flavor. The staff are friendly and assertive. The manager was great. Such a wonderful experience, thank you. Please teach the Cresta branch about customer service, variety and portion sizes. Shows true generosity and taking pride in your store at Rosebank.
So I ordered a hair dryer with diffuser as a Christmas gift. You people decided to deliver the wrong product to me yesterday. I've been trying to get someone from customer support since yesterday to assist with it. I cannot get any help and I'm so tired of the services we are subjected to,not only from Makro but other providers too. It's so hard to get a simple item delivered. 1 item and not even that was done properly. I don't get it Makro, your customer support services suck
Not deserving of even 1 star. Your customer support services are horrible. Then you have team leaders or managers who feel they will tell you off as a customer, what on earth is that? You guys stuffed up my order be delivering a broken pool table and the wrong chair I ordered. Now you want me to repurchase the chair which is now R3000 more than what I originally paid for. Did I deliver the wrong chair?, NO, so why must I pay for this and have to deal with you customer none support services? You only deal via email and I must sit and wait for a terrible off putting response from 1 particular person at Takealot. This has been ongoing since last week 8th December 2025,we are now on 16th Dec 2025 and you still cannot provide me with what I have been wronged for. You guys delivered the broker and incorrect stuff!!!!!
I'm very disappointed with Takealot. I placed 2 orders just to receive a broken pool table. I had to contact to find out what's happening before Takealot actually assisted me. I'm still waiting for my refund. Now the 2nd delivery comes this morning and it is a completely different item from what I ordered. Your delivery team refused to take it back because I did not want to accept the incorrect parcel. This is horrible service. I want the incorrect item collected today and I want the correct item delivered today. I don't care how it gets done.
I placed an order on checkers 60 this morning. One of the products received is a golden cloud flour. Upon opening the product, there is a white worm with eggs around the inside of the top of the packet. Absolutely disgusting
WE HAVE PLACED 5 ORDERS NOW WITH BUILDERS DUE TO A BUILDING PROJECT. TO DATE WE HAVE HAD ENDLESS STUGGLES WITH THE DELIVERY/SERVICE FROM BUILDERS WAREHOUSE. COUNTLESS HOURS WAITING FOR NON DELIVERY,DAYS FROM WORK TAKEN OFF JUST TO BE DISSAPPOINTED BY NON DELIVERY. I DID NOT EXPECT THIS FROM BUILDERS AT ALL, TIME AND MONEY HAS BEEN WASTED.
TO DATE STILL NO FEEDBACK OR ANY UPDATE FROM MAKRO REGARDING MY REFUND. ITS BEEN SINCE THE 28TH NOVEMBER 2024 THAT THE ORDER WAS PLACED, 10TH DECEMBER 2024 SINCE THE QUERY FOR REFUND HAS BEEN SUBMITTED. MULTIPLE CALLS, MULTIPLE PEOPLE TO DEAL WITH AT THE CALL CENTRE AND TODAY AS AT 22 JANUARY 2025, STILL NOTHING FROM ANYONE. TERRIBLE IS SUCH A MILD WORD TO USE.
STILL NO FEEDBACK ON MY REFUND. IT'S OVER A MONTH NOW. I SICK OF CALLING YOUR INCOMPTENET CALL CENTRE, THEY NEVER HAVE AN ANSWER THAT IS ACCURATE.
None of you at Makro have a clue as to what you are doing. I am getting shoved in every way possible with information that is not accurate. Please tell me how difficult it is to get a refund for items you failed to deliver. This has been ongoing since the 10th of December 2024,we are now a month later and this still has not been resolved. So Makro are just *******. They take your money and don't deliver the stock. All I am asking is for someone to contact me from Makro. I cannot get through to any of your stores. Does this mean I have to drive to Makro Crown Mines to get assistance? Must I waste further money on paying for petrol for your incompetence? I am beyond fedup with your constant disappointment. Please don't even bother to send me your unhelpful responses,because none of you ever get back to me or call me.
My ticket number is 49 from Thursday morning 02 January 2025. Duduzile at FNB Cresta branch, your service is impeccable. From the very start she was helpful, friendly, warm and welcoming. Something I have not received from any FNB before. You are a gem, and I hope that this review gets to your management. Thank you for a wonderful experience.
