I booked my honeymoon with Africastay to the Maldives resort called Sandies Bathala in September 2024.. everything was perfect until we had to fly back from Maldives via Dubai. The resort was late in bringing us back to the airport, they claimed it was "force major" meaning something that was out of their control like bad weather... they claimed it was due to rain... there was no rain. It was a bright sunny day, the resort kept telling us, don't worry, we will get you there on time, it was a lie... we were left at the airport to fend for ourselves. We contacted Africa stay who told us they can get us on another flight but it would cost us about+-R50k.i told them that's ridiculous, you are the travel agent, the resort failed to bring us to the airport on time and now you want us to pay for this error... guess what they said it is out of their hands so basically if you want to get back on a flight either you pay up or find your own way. Disgusting. Both the resort Sandies Bathala and Africa stay gave us terrible service... so when you see specials for Sandies bathala Maldives on Africa stay, be prepared to be let down.
You've read them all and my story is no different. A total waste of time. You order, they take months to deliver, then eventually you get your delivery but the item is incomplete. You call them, you send them emails, you send them photos and they don't respond to you. They literally are *******. Once you've paid them, they don't care for service or after service. You will not get your refund. NEVER EVER BUY FROM THEM. You will be disappointed. I never thought I would be ****med but here I am so waiting for them to respond to me
Awesome restaurant, food is amazing, staff are friendly and the food is reasonably priced.
I ordered an item on 29 Nov 22 LZE-423-JEV. I was informed in the 2nd week of December that the supplier is out of stock but they have a replacement item for me. I accepted the replacement offer and was informed that i would receive delivery in the week of 24 Dec. Nothing was delivered and no feedback was sent to me. Eventually i contacted Avo in the first week of Jan only to be told that the supplier was closed and they will advise me as soon as they re-open. Again no contact from Avo, eventually after I sent another email, I'm told the supplier is out of stock of the replacement that they offered me and they will refund me. how do you run out of stock of a replacement offer-that does not make sense, you only make an offer based on availability. Anyway, today is the 14 Feb and i have still not received my refund. What a waste of my time. Avo Sucks
To whom it may concern,<br> <br> I have been a loyal customer of Standard Bank for the past 5 years or so.<br> <br> In November 2015, I had taken a decision to buy a home, and naturally approached Standard Bank as my first preference in applying for a home loan. I was given a 80% bond approval from Standard Bank. <br> <br> I applied with 2 other banks and to my surprise, both deals offered to me by the banks for a homeloan was much better than Standard Banks.<br> <br> I am currently considering taking up one of these banks offer of a 95% bond approval , due to the disappointment that my bank couldn't offer me a good grant.<br> <br> I have made the decision to change banks and move any dealings I have with Standard Bank over to a different bank, and I will be doing a write up about Standard Bank making more people aware that this bank clearly does not cater for their customers needs.<br> <br> A highly disappointed customer<br>
