On 20 Feb 2024 I received an email that they have successfully negotiated with Frogfoot, the service provider in my neighborhood for a reduction on the fibre line rental rates and increased throughput rates. This was supposed to be effective from 01 March 2024. According to the new price plan I was supposed to be upgraded from 100MBs to 240MBs. I'm still only receiving 100 MBs. I lodged numerous complaint tickets at VOX. At some point even the Frogfoot technicians came to my house to inspect the line. And according to Frogfoot technician the problem was not with the line but it seems as if the ISP are throttling my network speeds. I recently again lodged a new ticket with ref: VOX24674838 and now there seems to be no response regarding this issue. Technicians was contacted via the WhatsApp channel but all they do is to confirm if my router is setup correctly and then forward it to the so called called Line techs. And still no progress. At the moment I am paying the new tarrifs but aren't receiving the new line speeds that they promised. Very disappointed in the service I am receiving.

And there is always an experience technician ready to assist. No matter what problem I had, it was resolved within the same day and feedback was given immediately. Keep doing what you do, guys.
I'm a new customer. I applied for a Vox fibre package. They inform me I have to cancel my existing ISP before I can migrate. A Month later on a Friday... Surprise!!! You're now with Vox. No internet connection on my line. Monday, receive the router and the thing won't install on my line. Spend 30 min on hold to customer service department to speak to technician. Register a fault online instead. Ticket ref: VOX19379316. Response: Call out request been logged with on-site department. New ref: VOX19380576. Technician scheduled for Friday. Friday Technician doesn't show, no response or explanation, and still without internet for another weekend.
Does this people even exist anymore. Cancel them now! I've been a paid up member for almost 20 years now. Today I needed them the most for the first time. I called the head office and claims hotline for the first time 10 times during the day and didn't even once get through to a consultant. Either the call is dropped or you get message that no consultant available. I need legal assistance urgently and this is how after all those years of premiums paid was wasted!
My wife has a Capitec Account and also a personal loan with Capitec. The loan is in arrears because of salary cuts during the lockdown. There were debit orders that was wrongfully deducted from her account and without her consent. She went inside the bank to reverse the debit orders and the teller told her sorry because of her Capitec loan that is in arrears he cannot help her. Oh-Boy! I don't know where I must begin to describe how wrong these actions were. Legally and morally for a bank to refuse point blank a customer of bank service because of a personal loan that is in arrears. But they still deduct bank fees on her account? I smell a civil lawsuit and will take this matter up with the Ombudsman according to the Consumer Protection Act.
Oudtshoorn. I've tried and tested a lot of internet service providers local as well as big companies. I was warned in the beginning about Wispernet being to expensive and poor service. I've been with Wispernet for a year now and I can happily report that they are the best choice for stable affordable internet. Especially during this lock down period they impressed me the most. Never had a down network Even if you do have a problem there are a team of highly qualified personal always willing to help and never stop until the problem is fixed. I choose Wispernet and will recommend them to anyone. Keep up the good work guys.
Ordered the sim card from Takealot. Received Sim card on Monday. Activated it Tuesday morning with payment reflecting. Thursday and the sim card is still not registering in my device. Contact customer care but that is non-existent like the service. Left with a useless piece of plastic junk. Will never recommend. Going to throw that garbage away and try another internet service provider.

Contact Customer service they will try to find out what is the hold up. Left my contact details. Never returned to explain. Go to app and PRESTO! received a sorry no delivery after 19:00 message. At least notify your customers but instead let them wait for almost 3 hours to be disappointing. Very poor service
