We moved to Muizenberg in 2021, and Mountain Men installed our alarm system. Every single time we leave the house there is a false alarm. They have not fixed this issue despite numerous visits and phonecalls. Faziel spends his time manipulating people and lying about what they can do. I would not recommend this service.
With zero communication from Octotel or Afrihost our account was suspended. It took four days and endless calls for us to hear that this was apparently the issue, but it still has not been resolved. We do not owe any money to Octotel nor have they or Afrihost communicated this to us in any capacity. I would 100% not recommend them.

I cancelled my insurance policy in July and was subsequently charged for two additional months. When I reached out to WSCIB, I was informed the debit order would be reversed, but it was not. When I emailed them to bring up this issue, I did not get a response. I then phoned the Managing Director and was informed that it was an error on Discovery side and "if there was an error" I would be reimbursed. I have an email thread that outlines my request for cancellation, there was an error, Darren. I then called Discovery myself, who informed me the policy cancellation had not been received. Honestly, why use a broker at all if I had to do this?
My Ford Figo needed its steering column replaced in July 2017. It took weeks of bad service and unaccountability from the staff at Mekor Ford Claremont to get back to me and complete the service. After paying 13 000 and thinking I was finally done with them, my car has since started making noises, and my mechanic tells me it is the steering which is an issue, which was supposedly fixed in 2017.
I booked a table for 10 for Sunday morning. When we arrived we were ushered to a table that would fit 8 people at the most. We took it on ourselves to find another table. Our drinks orders were messed up, some were forgotten altogether. Our food orders were also messed up, four out of ten meals arrived 30mins after I had already received and finished my food. <br> <br> To be fair the four forgotten meals were taken off the bill, but when we received the bill the manager had taken off an additional two meals for no reason. I reminded them about these and the manager did not apologise. In fact the manager didn't apologise at all during the entire process. I was very embarrassed as I had suggested this place to my friends and was horrified by the service and the food was average at best.
