I've been an MTN contract customer for 12 years until last year when I decided not to renew my contract with them. I followed all the required steps needed to end the contract at the specified end date which was 12/08/2025. I use a Samsung S21fe and it was working fine until the last day of the contract end date. MTN has barred my phone from operating on any network. I called and spoke Noxolo and she advised me to take the device to MTN for assessment but she let slip that MTN might want me to get a new device which I have been saying I will not be doing now. To prove that they are using this tactics to get back on contract, I tested the Sim card on another device and it works perfectly fine. I don't owe them anything so I don't understand why they want to hold me ransom with my own money.
I placed my order on 26 June 2025 and I received my order number, after 2 days I followed up with them on WhatsApp and they confirmed the waybill number and my shoes were delivered a day later. I'm so happy with my purchase and I won't lie when I say I will most definitely buy from them again. I am so happy with their service.
I've been with MTN for years but this is the first time they treat me this bad. I took out a cellphone contract 3 years ago and I called it confirm cancelation. I was offered other upgrade deals which I gladly declined, this was on the 12th July 2025. The contract I'm on is for a phone and sim card but ever since I informed MTN that I'm not renewing my contract, they blacklisted my phone. They took their last debit order but my phone constantly has no signal, it's been a week of me calling and they take from pillar to post because they keep insisting that there is nothing with the phone. They deliberately blocked it to co**** me into changing my mind. This phone has been great to me. MTN really now?
I placed my order on the 26th of April 2024, luckily I took a screeenshot of my order number since they don't send email order confirmations. I then reached out to the via Whatsapp and they were quick to respond and they kept me on the loop with order whereabouts. I'm so happy with my order, the quality of my pots is amazing. I will definitely buy more.
I don't recommend anyone to take out cellphone contract with MTN. I lost my phone last year which I was still paying for and it had insurance but MTN said my device was not covered. I have finished paying for the phone but MTN still want to charge for insurance. I sent an email, it they don't attend to query I will writing bad reviews about them
Don't even bother renting from these people, they're maintainance is s****, waste is not collected on a regular basis, water runs out without notice. Their service is just ****
My husband tried claiming from them after his engine broke down and needed to be replaced but they told him that they won't be able cover him for the repair. They are useless
I took my Huawei P30 for repairs and I really am very impressed at how quick and professional I their service was, they fixed it within 3 working days, I couldn't be happier with the service I received from the team, a special thank you to Precious for keeping me informed when repairs were completed on my phone. For the past 4 days, we have been without electricity and funny enough, some house in the same street as me have electricity. I have never had such bad service delivery, can this be escalated to the highest person in charge. I stay in Mapleton Ext 10,Boksburg. I work from home but for the past 4 days I have been unable to do my work and to top it off I have 2 small babies who have to suffer because of people who fail to deliver on their promise to the same community who voted them into power
They support racism in a democratic country and it clearly shows that people of color are not part of their vision
