Ordered delivery through Mr D from Nandos Canterbury crossing last night and half the order was missing. They sent the sides but not the chicken. How does that happen??? And it’s the second time, last time I ordered large chips and they delivered small. 2 out of 2 fails.
I ordered a TV and some cool drinks. it was meant to be delivered in 2-5 days as per their terms and conditions. on wednesday the cooldrinks were delivered with a promise to deliver the TV the next day. When it was NOT delivered I phoned and was told it would be delivered before 6pm that day. No delivery. I called the next morning and they promised delivery by 10am. Still nothing. I called again and they promised delivery by 6pm. NO DELIVERY. I called the call centre and they just kept saying they would escalate but nothing happens. Eventually the call centre told me to call the store directly because they couldn't find out what was going on. After numerous calls to the store - being on hold for 10 minutes at a time only to have them disconnect the call - I eventually managed to speak to someone who said they can rebook the order for me? rebook it? It has never been sent or dispatched or out for delivery at all. They also cant tell me when, if ever, the order will be delivered!!!!!!! So Makro.. where is my order????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? The worst service, the worst customer care, the worst experience ever!!!
A new gin bar opened up at Cedar Square a few months ago on the side that overlooks the purely residential area. The music is so loud and causes a massive disturbance to the surrounding neighborhood, completely breaking the municipal by-laws. When I first complained to the owner of the bar and the Centre management they promised they would sort it out. However this has been going on for months and the Centre management (Accelerate Property) and the owner of the bar have just stopped responding to any mails, messages or communications. They have no respect for the neighborhood around them and are only concerned with making money with no consideration to those they affect.
I applied with Supersonic two months ago and they did nothing, didn't send out router or contact me or anything. So after calling them repeatedly I cancelled my application. Its now two months later and they will not release my fibre line so I can use another provider. I have no contract with them and yet I call them every single day and they cannot give me any feedback on when they will release my line. I have multiple case numbers yet they never call back. So i'm calling them every single day. The most useless company i have ever dealt with.
Worst service, attitudes and shop! Builders Warehouse has consistently been the worst shopping experience over the past year. Cedar Square Builders Express: 1. I bought a standard colour paint sample in a navy blue. I liked the colour and went back to get 5litres. They mixed it and it came out Magenta. I brought it back to the shop, they remixed again and it came out a light blue. For the third time they mixed it it came out a completely different blue. Their response? "I don't know. Take one of the blues, its the right colour." 2. I painted my tiled floors with stoep enamel. I asked in shop if i need to seal it after and the guy told me I definitely did and sold me a product. When i got home i googled the product to find it was specifically for wooden floors and would yellow with time. I took it back and another person working there sold me something else. Same story.. had to go back AGAIN and a third person told me that stoep enamel has its own sealer and so anything you try and put on top of it will just peel off. 3. Tried to buy a garden sprinkler. The guy in the garden equipment section said they don't stock them. I walked down the aisle and found them. He shrugged and went back to his phone. 4. Trying to find someone to help in the shop is a nightmare. the staff sit around at the tills, on pallets in the back, on their phones, and act like it is a huge imposition to have to talk to you 5. I was at a till trying to pay and there was an incorrect price on one of the items. The guy just looked at me and shrugged. I asked him to please get the price, he sauntered off to the help desk, sat on the counter and chatted to a colleague for 10 minutes. I eventually went to ask him what was happening and he walked back to the till and said the product didnt have a price so couldnt be sold. 6. Yesterday I took my gas bottles there to be filled. The lady told me to place them in the aisle in front of her. I asked when I should fetch them and she said there was no queue so I could come back in half an hour. Guess where my bottles were when i came back in half an hour? exactly where i left them! I asked the lady what now and she rolled her eyes and shouted to the guy sitting next to her. He took them away under much duress and I had to fetch them an hour later. The service at Builders Fourways Crossing is just as bad, with the added benefit of very rude and pushy car guards. I CANNOT WAIT for the new Leroy Merlin to open.. they are worlds apart!! Leroy Merlin has friendly, competent and helpful staff. Their product range is wonderful and extensive, and prices are so much better than Builders Warehouse!! I will never step foot in another Builders Warehouse EVER.
I signed up an account with afrihost for a DSL line and uncapped internet. They told me to get a voiceline through telkom and they'd do the rest. I got the voice line, contacted Afrihost and ordered their package. I was told it would take 30 days to convert the voice line to DSL. I replied asking if they had an ETA and if there was anything else I could do from my side so it wouldnt take longer than necessary (30 days is pretty long a wait). No reply to my email. Two days later I sent another email. no reply. The next day again and no reply. Today iv sent another 3 emails but surprise surprise NO REPLY. How can a business run with such utter lack of customer service? I cant even cancel my order with them because i cannot get hold of anyone!!!
