I genuinely don’t understand how Pizza Hut Cedar Square thinks this level of service is acceptable. I placed an order and sat waiting for almost 1 hour and 30 minutes with absolutely no communication from the store. Trying to contact them was another mission on its own. Calls kept going through the call centre, who then tried transferring me to the branch, but the store wouldn’t answer. After being bounced around multiple times, I eventually got a call from the store apologising and saying they only had one delivery driver working. I’m sorry, but operational issues should not become the customer’s problem, especially when nobody communicates anything until you start chasing people for answers. At some point you stop feeling like a customer and start feeling like an inconvenience. Very disappointing experience from Pizza Hut Cedar Square.
I am adding this business to HelloPeter to warn others in the Gauteng area. I requested a backlight repair for my TV on 2 March 2026 through the Bark app, and Lizzy reached out through WhatsApp to provide the repair fee. The repair failed by 14 March. After reporting the recurring issue and sending photo proof as requested on Monday 16 March, I was promised a technician, but no one has arrived. Since then, my follow-up on 19 March has been blue-ticked and ignored. Do not use them if you expect a professional service or a working TV. I am still waiting for a resolution or a refund. In terms of Section 57 of the Consumer Protection Act, these repairs carry an automatic 3-month warranty on parts and labor. As the issue recurred within 14 days, the business is legally obligated to resolve this. Furthermore, per Section 56(3), since the initial repair failed, I am entitled to a full refund if the issue is not resolved immediately. I have been ignored since 19 March, which is a clear violation of my right to quality service under Section 54. If you don't hear back within 48 hours, you will be escalating the matter to the Consumer Goods and Services Ombudsman.
I had a little mishap this morning. I got stuck due to an empty fuel tank and Thandiwe Khumalo from MiWay assisted with facilitating a refuel with a service provider. It did not take long before, Busani, the service provider, came to the rescue. Thank you for the great service.
Mbalenhle Nkumbe was very efficient in assisting me. She was patient even when I was providing delayed responses. Good customer service.
If you want zero service, sign up for WebAfrica fibre. They’re available to get you connected to fibre, but after sales support is bad. I’ve been having issues with my fibre line and I only notice this when I get home from work. Obviously the help centre is not available after 6pm weekdays, but WebAfrica promises support until 9pm through WhatsApp. I’ve never been able to get a response from an agent between 5pm and 9pm. I’ve been a customer for less than a month and I feel that I made a terrible mistake signing up for their fibre.
Not shocked why this company has such a low rating. Having previously experienced bad service from them, I'm not shocked by my latest experience. I emailed them the day before delivery of my parcel, to request a change of address so that my parcel can be delivered to my office as I'm based there during the day. The address was not updated and I received an SMS that my parcel could not be delivered to due my unavailability. I had even provided the driver with the new address. Prior to that, I updated the address as I was given the option to change it on a link that I got from the delivery SMS. I'm baffled that something as easy as changing the address is a difficult task for Dawn Wing staff. Not sure why big companies still use this company for delivery.

I ordered my pizza from Debonairs Glenfair. I was notified that the order would be delivered in 45 mins. 45 mins later, my order had not arrived so I called the store to find out if the order is on its way. They told me it was on it's way. I am located within the 5 km radius of the store and I have been waiting more than an hour for this order to arrive. This is terrible service and it's not the 1st time this happens. This needs to be dealt with urgently.
