Subject: Complaint Regarding Rejected Insurance Claim – CIA Insurance I would like to raise a concern regarding my recent experience with CIA Insurance and the handling of a claim submitted for water damage at my home. A water leak occurred in my kitchen and garage after a geyser pipe burst suspected within the wall. The leak was unfortunately not immediately observed because it was inside the walls and therefore not visible. In addition, the garage walls were obstructed by fridges and couches that were in storage, which made identifying the source of the leak impossible at the time. The kitchen cupboards obstructed it on the kitchen side. Once we noticed the problem, we immediately logged a claim. Since then, my family has had to close the main water supply to prevent further damage to the house and its contents, leaving us without running water for an extended period. The damage includes water affecting the kitchen cupboard, walls in the garage and kitchen, and water exposure to the tiled floor. Although the tiles did not lift, they were exposed to water for a significant period. CIA Insurance rejected the claim on the basis that they believe the damage is old. However, the pipe has since burst completely and floods the house when the water supply is opened, clearly indicating that the damage was related to a concealed plumbing failure and not something that was reasonably detectable earlier. This situation has left my family in a very uncomfortable position, without water and with visible damage to the property. As a policyholder, one expects support and fair consideration in circumstances such as these. I respectfully request CIA Insurance to review this matter again and provide a clearer explanation for the rejection, as well as consider reconsidering the claim in light of the concealed nature of the leak. If this matter is not resolved urgently and fairly, I will have no option but to escalate the complaint to the Ombudsman for Short-Term Insurance and pursue further formal channels to review the handling and rejection of this claim. I have been a loyal client of Bettersure (formerly Better Life) for many years, trusting them with my insurance needs. However, my recent experience with their claims process has been nothing short of terrible. Despite multiple attempts to get feedback and assistance, my efforts have been met with silence or inadequate responses. I have sent numerous emails, tried reaching out via their WhatsApp number, and even stayed on the line for extended periods during phone calls, but I have yet to receive any support or updates. This lack of communication and support is extremely disappointing, especially considering the company’s promise to assist and protect clients and their loved ones when it matters most. I genuinely worry about how they would support families and loved ones in times of genuine need if their service is this poor when it’s just a claim. Given my experience, I strongly advise others to think carefully before trusting Bettersure with their insurance needs. Their current level of service and responsiveness is unacceptable for a company that claims to prioritize customer care and support. I hope they take these concerns seriously and improve their service, but for now, I cannot recommend them based on my recent experience.
I recently rented a vehicle from Budget and Avis Car Hire on November 21, 2024, at the Rustenburg branch. The service at the branch was excellent. After returning the vehicle my experience has been extremely disappointing. Despite returning the vehicle on time and in good condition, I have yet to receive my holding deposit back. What’s worse is the customer service—or lack thereof. I’ve attempted to reach out multiple times for assistance, but I'm met with silence or "sorry we are off-line" excuses. It feels like their support is non-existent, leaving me frustrated and without resolution. I cannot recommend Budget and Avis Car Hire based on my experience. If you’re considering renting from them, I suggest you look elsewhere to avoid the hassle. Stay away!
I had a truly frustrating experience with Citiq Prepaid that I feel compelled to share. Their customer service is virtually non-existent. I’ve tried reaching out multiple times via WhatsApp and email, but they never respond. When I finally managed to get through on their phone line, the assistance I received was minimal, and I still didn’t get the information I needed. It’s incredibly disappointing to deal with a company that seems to have no regard for customer support. I highly recommend staying far away from Citiq Prepaid if you value timely and effective customer service. Save yourself the hassle and look for alternatives that actually prioritize their customers.
Dear iPhone Support Team, I am reaching out to express my concerns and to request assistance regarding an iPhone that I purchased in the United States, which I have since discovered to be network locked. This is quite frustrating as no one seems to be able to assist me. Upon purchasing this iPhone 15 Pro Max, I was under the impression that the device would be unlocked within 2 months after the purchase date. Unfortunately, I have encountered significant issues when attempting to use the phone with a different network provider, as it appears the device is restricted to the original carrier it was associated with in the USA. I have been a loyal iPhone customer for several years, and this experience has been quite disheartening. The inability to unlock the network restricts my usage of the phone, essentially rendering it unusable in my current location. I have attempted to resolve this matter through the following means: 1. Contacting the original carrier: They informed me that they could not assist with the unlocking process as I am no longer residing in the USA. 2. Following all the instructions provided on the official iPhone support website regarding network unlocking. 3. Visiting multiple local carriers and phone service centers in South Africa to seek technical assistance, all to no avail. Given the circumstances, I am reaching out directly to you for help in unlocking my iPhone. I believe that as the manufacturer, you possess the necessary tools and authority to facilitate this process. To aid in resolving this matter swiftly, I am ready to provide any additional information or documentation that may be required. I am looking forward to a positive resolution that will allow me to fully utilize my iPhone with the carrier of my choice. Despite repeated attempts to engage with their team regarding an urgent matter, I have been met with a complete lack of response, which is both disappointing and frustrating. For the past few weeks, I have been trying to resolve an issue related to my insurance policy with Bettersure. Unfortunately, my emails have gone unanswered, and my concerns have not been addressed. This lack of communication is concerning, especially considering the nature of their business, where timely support and assistance are paramount. I chose Bettersure as my insurance provider with the expectation of receiving reliable and efficient service. However, the company's failure to respond to my inquiries has left me feeling neglected and unvalued as a customer. This is unacceptable from a company that promises to offer peace of mind through its services. - I first emailed their customer service department mid February, 2024, outlining my issue and requesting assistance. - After receiving no reply for over a week, I sent a follow-up email in the 3rd week of February, 2024, stressing the urgency of my case. - As of today's date, March 11, 2024, I still have not received any form of response from Bettersure. Struggling with poor connection for more than 3 days now. Called the technical support, took 12 minutes to take our call, only to be referred back to Evotel and cut cutt off our call. This is not the 1st time that we experienced extremely poor service from Vox. I would not recommend this company to anyone.
