I purchased a Pure Pleasure electric blanket on Takealot and it is faulty. I contacted customer services and a courier company collected the defective item. Today I received an email stating the fault was due to the way I installed the blanket and they will not be repairing it. I followed the instructions exactly as specified this is just an excuse for an inferior product. Do Not waste your money buy another brand this company will find any excuse to not acknowledge your warranty
Never purchase a product from this company , my electric blanket stopped working after a few months and they are refusing to fix it. They blamed the faulty blanket on the way I installed it , I followed the instructions meticulously. They use any excuse not to repair their inferior product. I will never buy another product from this company
Extremely terrible service from Sanlam Gap cover , my wife was admitted to hospital and required blood tests , which Gap cover does cover in the policy. However when I logged the claim they reject it without a proper explanation , its now my fourth claim they have rejected this year thats why i went to go read my policy and found out blood tests are covered
The worst service, initially you will be promise you the world with many free stuff and the promise of a walk in walk out function in order to get you to pay. When it is the wedding week and you are under pressure and its too late to fire the story changes suddenly the things that were promised were free are no longer free more money will be requested. This seems to be the modus operandi and many people have been cheated Its definitely not a walk in walk out function
Terrible aftersales service from Alumo , my panel got damaged , I logged the fault the technician came out and promised to send someone out the next day to replace the panel , its been 3 weeks I've called the call Centre I've send messages on the WhatsApp support number , no one gets back to me. Really horrible service if I had known this I would have gone with another company.
<div>Absolutely horrible service from sanlam it's been 3 months and they haven't processed my gap cover claims everytime I call the call center it's a new excuse yesterday I sat with a consultant **** for 30 min only for him to not help me</div>
They are pulling the same **** with me like how they did with many other people , I cannot stress how bad this company is please stay away, its a ****. After writing a complaint here I was contacted by them with a promise to deliver my furniture between the 28-30 of January and R1000 discount , I messaged on the 30th to find out if they will deliver I was told my headboard would be delivered before 6pm and the rest of my furniture on the 4th or 5th of Feb , they still have not delivered , only false promises from this terrible company
On the 16th of January , I had my Solar system installed with Alumo , 2 days later Alumo released an advert if you take out the system you get a free portable power pack. I contacted aftersales twice , the one agents name is Bunice to get my power pack they keep telling me they will get back to me but no one gets back to me when I will receive my power pack , their aftersales service has been horrible to deal with
Absolutely horrible service , I placed an order in October with Lameck for a couch and headboard . I paid the amount in full # INV-005167 they promised the order would be delivered first week of December , I have tried emailing them , calling them no one gets back to you. My next step of action is to go to the showroom and demand my money back if that fails I will have to get lawyers involved For a Muslim owned company this is extremely disappointing.
We decided to go with alumo after reading the good reviews on Google however our experience was not good at all The initial assessment done by Dewald was very professional, he contacted me in advance and explained the whole process very well. The installation was done by Frans and looks very good but that’s where it ends and our problems started. The training on how to use the system was terrible I asked him to explain to me what the value highlighted in yellow in the image below means and he said he doesn't know when I googled it I found out it simply means that's how much power the battery is supplying to the inverter, I asked him what the symbol in the top left corner stood for (Marked by the red box) and why it was zero and was told that's some ds board that they didn't install at my place and that’s why it was showing zero. After a few minutes it was showing a value when I googled it I learnt that’s the amount of power the panels are supplying to the inverter. Last night was the first night our system ran after being installed, I have an 8.8kw inverter with 2 5KW batteries after 1.5 hours of load shedding the system shut down I checked the fault and our battery was at 14% either these guys didn't connect the system correctly or I have some appliances that are pulling crazy power which they should have advised me when they sold me the system, its crazy to spend 200k plus on a system that only lasts 1.5 hours and this was in the middle of the night when our usage is low ( 2:00am – 3:30am). Its been 2 hours since the power is back and our system has only charged 3 % (14% to 17%) the battery doesn’t charge past 70 % and there’s a delay of about 5-10 min before the app’s values match what the sunsyc box show. I have no idea if this is normal or a faulty unit as it was not explained to me by the installer Lastly 2 of the workers kept asking me if they can have my old inverter and I had to tell them no a few time, I felt this was very unprofessional.
