I'm not one to complain.. Use to love Ashley's since before Covid. When we finally could order for delivery it has always been an issue....seems to me when you're sitting down everything is good but when ordering telephonically its always a problem... Been complaining via messenger on FB...no joy. I know people have been raving about this establishment but for me that's been a patron since 2014 its actually a let down... 1...Food being delivered without deserts ordered 2...Cocroach on my pizza 3...Ladies like Janine being so damn condescending in the phone like im a fly ... 4.....Phoning 2 landlines and literally never getting through... Please note that not everyone have contract phones and even if you do it still have to be paid ...For the last 4-5 years getting through is an absolute nightmare I am so happy for the good reviews when people actually go in and sit down(I've done that too many times) sit down and and ordering online are totally different experiences!
I went into the Vodacom store on Tuesday 15 November because all my calls showed private and the person who offered me the contract never informed me that it should be activated instore... I went into Vodacom Parow Centre and the lady Donica immediately acknowledged me and greeted me very politely with a smile....She sorted my issue out promptly and effieciently.... This type of customer service is what we as consumers need but do not get anymore....
I have been ordering from Canvas & More since 2020 and i can simply say i love it...Turnaround time most times great
On Sunday 6/02/22 I decided to pop in at Pick n Pay Glwn Garry as I was that side and needed a few items .. First bad encounter was when I stood waiting at the counter/kiosk for someone to assist me with biltong...I saw the lady behind the counter finishing with a customer as I stood waiting....She cannot say she didnt see me as I am not a small person but she chose to ignore me abd I ended up taking the last packet of prepacked biltong whis ended up sour and mouldy.... Finished my shopping and went to the tillpoints....Imvsnot sure if the cashier had a bad morning but she had an attitude from when i packed out my 1st item up until the last....No greeting whatsover and I do not think a person with an attitude like that should be working with customers.. Needless to say that was my 1st and last time shopping at Pick n Pay Glen Garry
I just visited the Sportscene store at N1 City mall in Goodwood and I am still in shock... Never ever have I expected the service I just got...I had to exchange an item which i bought on Saturday 19/12 as it was too small for my son...Entered the spoke and a very polite young man assisted me and then I made my way to the cashier... I aprroached the woman named Roudeen and she ddnt even acknowlege me,I told her im exchanging,she took the bag from me dd the refund and just put the slip in front of me still having the attitude not saying a word.I filled in the slip gave it back and just heard a "thud" (very loudly)as she put the bag down on the counter for mebto take...I still stood there for another few seconds waiting for something like a thank you or something but she just blatantly ignored me and went about her business... I am aware that the stores are quite busy as it is "silly season" and people are tired as I am in sales/retail myself but that certainly does not excuse the very bad service
Today 3December 2019,about 17:00pm, myself,my husband and our two children went into American Swiss Canal Walk to enquire about a certain item...I looked at the items in the window first,and my husband and kids entered the shop. They were in the shop a while when I entered. There were no other clients in the store at the time...Three or four employees were standing talking ,saw us but not one acknowledged us,or even greeted...I made my way to the back of the store where i knew the catalogues would be...The guy behind the counter also did not greet and i actually asked him if it was the way i looked,my race or the way im dressed that no one evwn bothered....I didnt wait for an answer and asked about an item that I enquired about on the 22nd of November. I then told him that i asked the girl that stood next to the counter and at the time she didnt have a clue what i was talking about....She actually remembered and told me that herself and a collegue went looking for the item....I did tell them im coming back but never did beacuse of time...Allready had to wait because the colluege had to show and explain... I went ahead and asked about the item which the answer was no stock and it was a Black Friday special...i ,in turn told them that the promotion started a week before Black Friday and then asked till when the special is and they answered today 3December but limited stock....I looked at the broschure and asked where it said limited stock and both of them just left me standing there like a fool... I left and went to Sterns and got the best service... I actually got the same bad bad service from American Swiss N1 City about 3years ago when buying new wedding rings....I should have learned my lesson then never ever to buy feom American Swiss again.
I have written a review on Hello Peter about the poor service I received from an agent at Remax Dekloof. On the 19th of August Remax sent me an email address which I then sent my complaint to. To date I have received no feedback from Remax.... This make me believe that the whole organisation that is Remax give the same very poor customer service all around.
We applied to rent 17 July 2019 for a house to rent...During the process when trying to get hold of the agent (Lizette Jordaan fro Re/Max De Kloof) there were more than one occasion when my husband phoned and she just did not answer.... I would have understood if she perhaps phoned back because that would be the decent thing to do... Unfortuantely we did not qualify and that is understandable. Two weeks ago (beginning of August ) I saw the house was available again and my husband phoned her. We started the process again applying to rent.She even offered that I can view the house which I did on Saturday 10/08. Last paperwork was sent Tuesday 13/08. After enquiring on Wednesday 14/08 by my husband; she sent him a message saying the paperwork is with her manager then it will go to the home owner for approval. Since Thursday my husband phoned her without success... Finally on Friday afternoon she sent a message saying that the process is still ongoing and she booked off sick. After phoning her again today, she did not answer and just sent a very impersonal email saying that unfortunately we did not qualify. I do not have a problem with that fact that we did not qualify; but professionalism and common decency by answering your phoning or keeping us in the loop would have been very helpful as we are desperately looking to move from our current place and cannot buy at this stage.... Easy to say that this is the last time I will ever approach Remax again and will advise everyone not to deal with this entity. At the end of the day we were still the customer....
I am a regular shopper at Pick n Pay Parow...I basically only go there because it is convenient and I know where to find what I am looking for.... the service there from the people on the floor to the cashiers are beyond pathetic and I do not even want to waste my breath or typing s****s to complain to management. All they say is " I'm sorry ma'am.
So on Thursday evening, 7/12/17 we decided to give Surfside Restaurant a try after a friend suggested the place a while back. Drove all the way from Elsiesriver to Strand for that experience. We got into the place, got seated and sat and waited for about 10 minutes before my husband called a waiter that passed and asked how it works there seeing that its our first dining experience at that establishment and he was a bit confused..... Asking if no one served us yet. Eventually our order have been paced and once again we waited and waited...... My husband ordered the carvery and whilst we waiting nobody even came to tell him he can go dish (First time at the place and we don't know how the setup work). I ordered Eisbein (sticky with veggies) and got Eisbein (Crispy with chips).... My husband dished a little food at buffet and got so p****** with the service that he lost his appetite.... We got and and left after asking for the manager that same guy that gave the bad service pitched up and listened to our complaint.... My husband argument was also,after receiving such ****py service why he had to pay R199 for a buffet he didn't utilize fully. After about 10-20minutes arguing another employee came past and asked what the problem was. My husband just started telling him, and he cuts my husband off very rudely ,telling him that he is not interested, locked the door and told my husband the he can explain to the police. After a while I went in ,had to calm my husband down and paid the bill (which I still think we should not have paid) just so we can leave because at that time my feet were swollen and I felt my blood pressure rising, being 16 weeks pregnant. This upset my 9 year old son tremendously as he started crying ,saying he want to go home..... Needless to say, it was petrol wasted, driving all the way to Strand and also money wasted ......
