I reported the matter to the Consumer Commission. Received the first attorney’s letter received during my complaint process and another followed this week. Demanding silence on me to put this on any social media, I refused. They are obligated to refund as the extensions were faulty and not as described, to the prescribed quality by their management. At the outset my hair was mid back length. Despite ordering specific lengths every time I returned to the salon the extensions were cut along with my hair eventually about 75% of the original length, my own hair above shoulders and in the most dreadful damaged condition. On one occasion they said they fell out as the person had put powder on the tapes. Doesn’t seem very professional to me. My schedule for those few weeks was disrupted due to an inordinate amount of time needing to return. A disaster from beginning to end despite the hype. The reasoning behind implementing cover for him was based on as a “rescue” from SPCA, he had been ill treated and couldn’t predict what health issues lie ahead. Since then, he had pain tablets some time ago for a sprain. Very little else, if at all. Paddington has been in remarkable health. In October, he started limping, the medication was covered. Since, then the nightmare begun, DOTSURE, has been abhorrent in their dealings, utterly uncaring and incompetent. Worst fear in November, Paddington was diagnosed with osteosarcoma and needed amputation. Out of respect, I advised Dotsure of potential claims. Despite all documentation being submitted, including claim form and invoice/s from a registered veterinary services at Onderstepooort.. I was repeatedly asked to resubmit. How appalling? Despite documentation being submitted in time. An email, the previous evening confirmed the file was closed. En route to amputation. I was called again, apologizing for their neglect. she said all was in order and she could see documents had been received. Their utter negligent behaviour has caused endless stress since then. SMS’s, emails, calls, at times I would be asked to start from scratch to explain why I was unhappy. Or rate their service on how I was helped, what a joke? I sent email desperately asking this matter be referred to senior executive level. Mr Roach as an example. They are often too lazy to read file. I had an incident and breakage in November 2020, for which I was supposedly insured. Despite endless email, images insurance quotations. To date I have not received reimbur*****t. I proposed, that they order the piece on my behalf if they didn’t want to reimburse, it was a collectors piece in 2011/2012, which is discontinued, result, limited pieces available globally. To this end, due to the unreasonable lengths and limited availability I had no choice but to import the piece to avoid an incomplete part of the collection, in total including international postage and duties, under R4000.00, still failed to settle. What point is there for paying insurance when recovery of damages is so blatantly contested and delayed.
I recently had to take my dog, Paddington for a visit and later X-ray. Fortunately, my rescue dog has enjoyed good health and apart from regular inoculations he seldom needs to visit. He was abused and is so nervous with strangers. But Kelly and the other vets, nurses etc are so just so kind and gentle, with him. My daughter is an animal behaviourist and this is how we got to visit Craig View. With exceptional facilities, I have trust in the quality of care. Absolutely phenomenal! Thank you Kelly and Craig View team for going to great length in caring for Paddington.
Order placed 27 April, Set the delivery date of an order latest 20 May 2020, no communication, requested refund, no response from several email sent to them addressed to Customer Services Manager and CEO. You pay upfront good for business cash flow when they fail to respond!! Never again. Service pathetic!
Very conveniently for their cash flow, company doesn’t refund but without consent withholds the funds and eventually advise they have put a credit to your account. Under no circumstances will I ever trust them again or do business with them.
ORDER 633216. Despite promise to refund within 3 days, either they have no money, but they refuse to communicate to email, beware this is a scam. You say you accept their name t’s and c’s and that credits will be processed what a joke. I have reported to Wendy Knowler as she stated on 702 recently she would personally give them a try as they had mixed reviews. If this is as an example of their business ethics customers beware! Does not respond to email. First delivery was stated as being free for which I was charged on over a R3000.00, over R600.00 credit on goods not supplied supposed to be processed in 3 days, failed to do the refund. Will never use again. Beware I expected better!
Absolutely professional, courteous and every bit as smooth as their advertising states. Surpassed expectation. Phenomenal service, paid within minutes of signing contract for sale. Would recommend to anyone or business looking to sell a vehicle. When the time comes for us to dispose of a vehicle in our fleet, they will be the first we contact. Would you believe about 6 years ago, started having issues with their financial services department. Eventually when the CEO changed, I contacted him IN DESPERATION and eventually after months passed the matter was resolved with them admitting an error on their records. Also I was incorrectly reported to credit authorities as having unpaid accounts. Ref: Anisia Naidoo. Earlier today, sms received claiming I must pay R100 on my outstanding account from their attorneys. What a bunch of jerks, no wonder they cannot keep customer loyalty, I haven’t stepped in an Edgars store since this first raised its ugly head, in total about 6 years ago. Edgars deal with your abominable customer records and financial records, I have no intention in getting in contact with your so called debt collectors. If you tarnish my credit rating again I will seek financial recourse as well as legal expenses from your organisation.
