Vodacom keep harrassing me for no reason and will not stop. When I tell them that I have no contract they just hangup and call again. I buy prepaid Vodacom airtime and that is It. I pay for it as I go and NOTHING else!. Nothing else. If the report me for non payment what can I do. I'm SICK of this.
Will the harrassment never end? Vodacom...well I have Vodacom "service" on my phone. I buy airtime and that is it. Some months ago in another town I ordered fibre but cancelled it when I left the place I was living in because the landlord died and I had to move. Someone came and took the equipment away, I paid what I had to pay and that was that. Yes well... NOW....months later I get a call from a debt collection agency saying I owe Vodacom R1000+ For what? The agency wants a certified copy of my ID and some sort of proof (how can I prove I DIDN'T do anything?). I have Vodacom pay as you go on my phone and that's it. I HAVE NO CONTRACT WITH VODACOM! I am an invalid living far from where I was before and can't get out to have my signature certified and my validated and send it to VVM. What's up with this country? Every time I but anything I get cheated, overcharged or harrassed. Telkom, Cell C, .....yada, yada...I'm scared to go out, which is just as well because I can't anymore. So? Vodacom?
If you ever get through to real person on a real phone number at King Price please let us know how you did. I have tried EVERYTHING! The people working there are wonderful, their service is terrific...really efficient...but if you need to ask a simple question... forget about it! All the numbers are changed when you try to return a call (If that woman says "the number you have called does not exist" ONE more time!!!). Are they so inundated by calls that they can't handle the load? How about employing a few more people? Isn't unemployment rife? Instead they cause such irritation (no... FURY!) that I am unable even to cancel my contract with them.
I have complained so many times I am exhausted snd beyond fed up. My bank account has about R12000 in it and it keeps being rejected for some obscure reason. I complained weeks ago and spoke to a man who said everything was fine with my account but would not stay on line with me while I tried for about the fifth time and was rejected AGAIN. Numerous messages came from the bank. My PIN was changed but that did not help. I was told someone would csll me within 24 hours. Nobody did. I know things are difficult right now but why make false promises then? And WHY does my card not work? I was approved on the bank site today and AGAIN my card wss rejected. AGAIN!! I AM SICK OF PEOPLE SAYING I ENTERED THE WRONG INFORMATION OR MADE ANOTHER STUPID MISTAKE! I am paying cash from now on. Oh, and the mistakes they made with my account ( sending R20,000 by MISTAKE and stopping a debit order by MISTAKE) have not been mentioned. They ruined my credit rating Great work FNB!
Since my rewiew I have one phone call a rather bored sounding man who gave up and hung up. Then I managed to reach someone who helpd me, clearing the confusion and giving me a new PIN which works at the ATM. The other matters were ignored. My credit rating was destroyed through their carelessness and I am angry. They just ignore me. I have a private banker who says she can do nothing. An apology would have been nice. I contacted the school and fixed that problem myself. The school returned the money( R20.000)after a couple of months. That was an egregious mistake and closure in the form of an apology would have helped. Cell C stopped panicking. My contract with them is over. I dealt with Telkom myself. Gee, THANKS FNB...FOR NOTHING.
I have had nothing but bad service from FNB! 1. A year ago a debit order (CellC) was cancelled (I think by a woman in Bethlehem Dihlabeng Mall) I was told that stop orders were irreversible. This made my credit rating go for a loop! 2.Telkom was allowed to continue taking money in unusual amounts for a year after my contract was up. Bang went my credit rating again because they reported me too. 3. I pay school fees annually. For close to 6 months an extra R4000 was sent from my account to the school BY MISTAKE! 4. Last yesr I went to branch in a mall in Durban North where I waited to see someone about it and he then sad to me "What do you expect me to do about it? I am a banker. Go and ask one of the little girls down there" (the greeters) 5. Now my debit card is blocked! I have made call after call to try and get it fixed. I have been told that 1. That I entered the wrong expiry date. 2 That it was ok now (but it wasn't). 3. That I must use a new PIN which they gave me. It didnt work! 4. I must use a new password (it didn't work). NOW I can't login online! I have no money. The site isn't working. The bank's emai address returned my message! I AM FED UP!
<div>Entering this store is like entering a dream place full of unecpected goodies and treats: amazing bread and cakes, imported foods you can't find anywhere else and so much more...wonderful cooked foods, original, intriguing Christmas gifts not to be found anywhere else (not all food) service that goes way beyond one's expectations, really, really lovely music (always) and so many beautiful, unusual things...teapots from faraway lands and scarves and baskets of flowers, exotic spices and sauces, really fresh meat, humourous displays of unusual items, ripe fruit and vegetables...it is perfect.</div>
Thank you, Hello Peter! Thank you SO much for getting results! THE VERY NEXT DAY TOO! (EVEN IF IT IS A SUNDAY!)
My credit record (just as I was about to rent a cottage) was ruined by A. FNB ... an employee deleted Cell C from my debit orders and they got cross. B. Discovery Bank claimed I hadn't paid fees ( for WHAT?) C. Telkom claimed i owed them money. C. CellC reported me for non- payment! Only Discovery Bank apologised. Now...months later and after an exhausting, anger-fuelled month of run arounds and surly service and no phone contact allowed, I found a man at Cell C in Musgrave Centre, Durban who sorted Cell C out and gave me a letter giving me clean bill of health. A month passed. I thought I was free. Exhausted but free. I got rid of Telkom and Discovey...BUT... Now CellC is STILL squatting on my report saying I owe them money! My credit health is RUINED! What is going on? A mix of greed at the top and incompetence at customer (human contact) level is very dangerous, and I think that's what this is. The employees at Telkom and Cell C are ill-educated, arrogant, rude, incompetent and unprepared to work with humans! Computers (mistakes and all) are their claim to superiotity. Why does nobody at the top look down and see what is going on?
The Hillcrest Branch of FNB is a revelation. They have created an atmosphere of friendliness, trust, efficiency and customer satisfaction beyond anything I have experienced in any bank ever (and I have been to banks all over the world). You are greeted with smiles, seated, given a number, shown where to go when your number is called (not a long wait) and treated with respect, kindness, and the kind of patient consideration which I have never experienced in any other branch. They help you to use the ATM to print statements or get your balance. They explain what to do if you get confused and explain how things work. The manager is loved and respected by every one of his staff and is open to visits, answers questions and solves problems right then and there. He remembered me after an absence of two years! This is how a bank should be. Thank you Hillcrest FNB!
