My friend, Chantal Strydom (mobile 081 651 1070 / email: Chantalstrydom7@gmail.com), a single parent purchased a 2008 Citroen Multispace 1.4 Multispace Exec, registration number FBH274EC, Vin number VF7GJKFWC93375237 for R62,150.00 through your dealership on 17 February 2025. Since taking ownership of the Citroen, Chantal has experienced problems with the vehicle and when voicing her concerns has been told by We Buy Cars that it will cost her a further R27,015.80 to repair the vehicle. Please confirm how this vehicle got a roadworthy certificate in the first place? Chantal has on several occasions contacted you about the problems she is facing with an unroadworthy vehicle which is putting her and her child's life at risk. Your correspondence of 19 March 2025 quoting the inspection by Dekra Condition Report is questionable. Your dealership was aware that the vehicle was problematic and took the easy route by selling the car to a woman with no one to help her when purchasing the vehicle. Your advice to her going forward is that she needs to refer her problem to the Ombudsman which is another blow below the belt. Let's simply sweep the problem under the rug scenario. Your actions give your dealerships a bad name and leave a bad taste in one's mouth. It seems to be the norm these days to exploit innocent victims with no consequences. Sadly, it seems to be by reputable legitimate going concern. A company name is powerful and can be a best seller, but it can also become a name that no one will consider going forward. One's reputation precedes one by actions.
I left OUTsurance for a time and I am back. It was a bad move, and it pays to be with winners in the insurance game. Many insurances sweet talk one into believing they have your best interest at heart, which is far from the truth. It pays to invest your money with the best and I am back to stay. I am so grateful to Wesbank for dispatching my vehicle registration documents to me so efficiently. Being under debt review, I was allowed to pay what was owed over an extended time period. Before posting information that CAMAF members, as a whole, do not qualify for at all, please desist from the misconception nonsense. I was the fool in believing it was a fact whereas you are the fool for publicising theory with no merit or substance. It is a bit late now to respond so let us just call it a day.
