a Takealot driver damaged our vehicle yesterday, and this morning I tried to get through to Takealot to find out what process we could follow to claim the damages. after holding on for about 10 minutes, someone answered, only to forward the call to another department, and then their music and voice prompts just kept on playing on and on.....and on.
we purchased a gcom520 gate controller from them, but since the start, the device did not work as it was supposed to. every 3 days it does not work, then we have to reset the device, which is not how it is supposed to work. we had another unit before this one, which unfortunately broke, but the previous one worked ALL the time, with no need for any reset. I have contacted the company several times, but they refuse to replace the unit, as they want us to bring the unit in, so they can test it on-site, and only there-after are they willing to replace it should they not find a fix. we are not able to have the device removed, as we require access control to this building. the reason why we installed the unit in the 1st place was due to vandalism, and to fix up the damages, cost us almost R100 000, and we are not prepared to go this route again. we have explained this to them, but they are unwilling to come up with an alternative solution from their standard warranty policies. we just want a replacement unit, to make sure the building is not accessible by unwanted parties, who might vandalize the premises again.
when I signed up with Rain, the selling point was that it was a month to month business model. at times I did not have funds when the debit order went down, and as expected, my internet connection was stopped, and once I made a payment, I would be reconnected. now I call them to cancel the account, as I no longer require the use of their service, they tell me I owe them for 2 - 3 month's worth of internet connection. now it is my problem that their system is not reliable in detecting when funds was not paid, and then stopping the service (as it previously worked)
I am highly annoyed to say the least! I have 3 devices which I bought through FNB. NEVER was I told that I will have to pay a penalty fee for early settlement. This is ridiculous that I am being penalized for reducing YOUR risk. For any normal agreement, normally you are discounted for early settlement; discounted on the interest, yet with FNB, you are penalized???? I know that losing my business will not affect you AT ALL, but your slogan should definitely be changed! Don’t say “FNB, how can we help”. Everyone feels the financial pressure in this country, and one would think that a financial institution would see the benefits of helping their customers reducing their debts where possible, and I the same breath reduce their own risk. Lest say I decide not to settle now, and in 2 months I lose my job, and cant pay you at all…who has lost the most here? Obviously you, just because you choose to penalize your customers rather than help them. Like I said, I know losing my business will not affect you at all, but I just wanted you to know that your processes needs revision!
I wanted to buy a Bible for myself, but after looking at your prices,...it made me sic**** i got exactly the same Bible on Amazon for half the price which still included import tax, and delivery costs. this is unacceptable, and just proof that CUM Books is the business of feeding on Christians, and certainly not in spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ. you should be ashamed! there is a fair charge for profit, which is acceptable, but this is a total rip-off!!! your price: https://www.cumbooks.co.za/amplified-703/amplified-study-bible-indexed-purple-imitation-leather price on amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/ ********** 538/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
