I am really now out of my wits with this shambolic company. Firstly tried for 4 months to cancel my contract without any luck, constantly being told that my cancellation was never "effected" eventually got a cancellation confirmation with reference Ticket reference number - MWB25771895. YET today the 10th of January, I am told by both my prospective new service provider and Vumatel (the infrastructure management company) that MWeb still has my line. Please do yourselves a favour and never get into this abusive relationship with this company.

Extremely disappointed with this provider. Waited for a service to be activated for more than 2 months now, had initiated a reversal of sale, got the reference for it 21226398. The sale is still not reversed and the account is still reflecting as active when we want to move to a new ISP. Can someone from MWEB kindly give us a break and cancel/reverse this sale as the service has just been appalling and we need to activate a new ISP on the line that is now hogged by you?
Really terrible experience in just activating accounts. It has been almost 2 weeks of subscribing, received routers and now they are literally collecting dust. You get sent from pillar to post for answers, I am thinking of activating my 14 day cool off period, we honestly cannot be starting the relationship like this.

Had an amazing chat with Tshepo, happy with the level of service he offered this morning, 9th March 2022. The reason I'm not giving 5 star rating is that I had to email twice in order to get MiWay to call. Otherwise Tshepo was exceptional and I'd give him 5⭐
I don't even know where to start with this. Standard Bank has proved itself to be the worst bank I have personally ever dealt with. I submitted proof of payments including statements of my paid credit card statements due to the fact that my card had gotten swallowed by the ATMs (which I got charged for replacement card, story for another day). I reverted to paying via EFT, only to be notified by my current bank that the account I'm using is a suspense account, this happened after not noticing one of the payments into my credit card. I logged a query on the 10th of March 2021 and to this day despite spending over 4hrs in total on calls and countless emails of the same statement and proof of payments being sent to various consultants and to creditcardcommunications@standardbank.co.za, I have followed up with Ian.Williamson@standardbank.co.za (who has since gone dead silent from the 5th May) and Sergio.Prince@standardbank.co.za (who has also gone dead silent from the 10th May). It should never take this long to get a simple enquiry like this resolved. I am regretting ever opening a credit card with this bank and cannot wait for it to be fully paid and cut this stress out of my life. Very disgruntled customer
Really disappointed with the structure of this timeshare experience, especially this year. Been with this group for about 10 years with "10 more years of holidays" and for the first time, in the year of a pandemic, I am asked to pay a "exchange fee". When I question this and mention that I've been booking holidays for 10 years without needing to pay this "exchange fee", the response I get is that agents had been tasked to get the fee from members and they haven't been doing it. For me a precedent has been set for 10 years and come pandemic year there is now all of a sudden "exchange fees". I have expressed my displeasure and nothing is being done. I would advise anyone that was thinking about joining this group to please stay away. I have personally invited about 3 friends who are part of this and am now regretting from this recent experience and treatment received. Another thing I am realizing is that there is clearly no point in being a part of this type of timeshare because now for 2020-2021 my "annual levies" are R5400 (I can book myself and family a lekka holiday for that much) without needing someone to require this paid at a certain time in the year and over and above that pay a "exchange fee" . Really disappointed and hope someone reads this before tying themselves to a nightmare. An extremely disgruntled faithful member of 11years.
