Very poor and unprofessional service form estate agency AIDA and
Hello Peter This article is a true reflection of how agents and agencies walk all over tenants, especially elderly ladies, and make them pay and do things in their own way, which is not fair and not legal. The Two Agency Agents at Home Danielle Jansen van Rensburg Hester Strydom *** www.agentsathome.co.za AIDA New Company Hester Strydom new agency joined My wife of 63 years rented a new place The Owner had an agency and an agent that took care of the affairs during the rental agreement and the move into the new property Errors made by the Agents at Home Danielle Jansen van Rensburg Hester Strydom My wife, the tenant, was never explained the new contract on a face-to-face basis in a meeting to explain the whole contract to her before she had to sign On the new contract, there were many irregularities. My wife blindly, without consulting anybody, believed the agent knew what was expected of her and trusted the agents Danielle Jansen van Rensburg and Hester Strydom My wife was made to sign the contract and agreed, oblivious to the fact that she had to pay for the cost of the contract between her, the tenant, and the Owner. Moving onto the property, there were many irregularities: The TV wires had been removed by the tenant before my wife. On discussion with the agent and ower it, the problem was simply swept aside. My wife then had to pay to have new wires installed so that she could watch TV. A cost of R1500.00 Monies she never got back from the Agent On the first day before my wife moved in, the house was filthy dirty. My wife and her domestic had to spend time effrt and money to get the house in a proper livable state. The house smelt of terrible smoke as the previous tenant was a smoker. Again, time, effort, and money were used by my wife to rectify the smell inside the house. The curtains had no hooks to connect to. Money was spent to purchase these hooks so that curtains could be hung. My wife put in a security door on the property for her own safety and was told the owner was not going to pay for it. When my wife finally vacated the property, the security gate had to stay as it was now a fixture to the benefit of the owner and the value of the property. A cost of R 5000.00 My wife spent time, effort, and money to improve the garden paving, etc., to enhance the property and make it a more comfortable place for her to stay. Agent and Home Hester Strydom never came to inspect the property before my wife moved in, or during the twelve months stay on the property, Hester Strydom never came and inspected the property once to make sure my wife was abiding by all the rules and regulations stated in the contract, on the upkeep of the property. Twelve months. Not one visit. My wife was then informed via WHATSAPP by the Agent and Home Hester Strydom said that she was moving her company to join AIDA. No explanation was given why, no documentation was received, just a simple WhatsApp. After the completion of the 12-month lease agreement, my wife needed to amend the existing contract with the Agent and Home Hester Strydom to an additional three-month contract. Instead of the existing contact just being updated to an additional three months, a brand new contact, twenty pages, was set up by AIDE Hester Strydom. This was a brand new contact on behalf of AIDA, written and composed by Hester Strydom on behalf of AIDA. The contact was duly sent to my wife, and she was told just to sign the contact, an electronic signature, without going through the contact face-to-face, or at least sending her a copy so she could take time to read it. My wife questioned this, and eventually, after days of waiting, a PDF was sent for my wife to print out and read carefully before she signed anything. On going through the new contact my wife discovered numerous irregularities. My wife now had to pay R 1000.00 for the new contract between herself, the tenant, and the owner. No animals were allowed on the new contract, even though the old contract stated she had three animals. The old contract stated four people could stay on the property; the new contract only one. The new contract bound my wife to pay R 500 for the inspection of the property, and should the need arise, further costs to her if a company had to come and clean the place before the new tenant moved in. A fee of R175.00 would be deducted from her deposit for the transfer fee and bank charges for her to get her deposit back that was put in a trust account. In closing My wife, the Tenant, went out of her way to keep the property very neat and tidy and spent so much time, effort, and of her own money to maintain the property she was renting. There are far too many irregularities here The tenant has to suffer financial costs, time, and effort The tenant is bul**** into signing contracts she never read, but was forced to sign electronically. The tenant is forced to take the agent's views and demands into account, but sadly, the tenant has no say. I strongly recommend that doing business with AIDA or Agent and Home be seriously considered, and maybe a better idea would be to rather go through a trusted company or agency that treats their clients with more respect and understanding, and not just there to make money from a loyal elderly tenant. My wife wants to sell her house 36 Oranje Str Randlespark Klerksdorp My Wife got hold of three agents to do an evaluation of the property Rawson Remax ERA Speaking to Carol Date: 19th January 2024 She told us that we must rather go the sole agent way My wife communicated to arrange a meeting to sign the sole mandate document. Carol arrived and filled in the sole mandate document by hand and my wife signed accordingly and I counter signed at the bottom of the document. Date: 23 January 2024 Date: 8 April 2024 my wife received a copy of the sole mandate document Two and a half months later we received a copy of the sole mandate from Carol after we asked for it. My wife went onto property 24 and viewed the house that was on view Carol apologized that she never sent us the information and web site. Date: 24th January 2024 Carol placed a sign on the gate fence that the property was for sale. Carol requested the ERA agents, 16, do a walk through the property. Carol and the agents did a walk through. Date: 31 January 2024 16 Agents in total It is a little alarming and the question is asked that 16 ERA agents have not had any input to the sale of the house seeing that they all came to view the house. On the Date: 12 February 2024 Carol sent a message to say there was no interest on the property. A show day was arranged Date: 3rd March 2024 11.00 am to 13.00 pm There were plus minus 20 families that attended the show day. After the show day Carol communicated that the time to sell the house was not good due to a few reasons. On Date: 12 March 2024 Carol sent a message to say there was still no interest on the property. A meeting was arranged with Carol to discuss further developments for the sale of the house. Date: 14 March 2024 It was discussed to have a second for sale board to be placed on the pavement. Carol was concerned that the for-sale board on the pavement could be ****** or damaged. The second for sale sign was placed on the pavement. It was also arranged that I would go onto social media to help with the sale of the property and any response would be passed onto Carol to arrange the sale of the house. I had seven people interested on the social media adverti*****t and were told to contact Carol. Carol never came back to any communication from them. A second show day was arranged with Carol. Date: 14 March 2024 for the 3rd April 2024 17 Days we waited for the show day to happen and no communication with Carol 17 Days no interest in the sale of the house. Nothing. On the second show day 3rd April 2024 time 15.00 to 17.30 carol did not arrive. I say again, carol did not arrive. carol did not communicate why she never arrived My wife and I sat and waited for her and the show day to materialize. Nothing happened. I understand if there was a situation or a crisis with carol But She could have had the decency to let us know or let any of the other Agents stand in her place on show day. How do you as a agent arrange a show day and you do not arrive You let the seller sit like a fool and wait with no communication at all To Date: 23 April 2024 We still have no result or communication from carol being the sole agent or the way forward. The sole mandate will come to an end 24 April 2024 12.00 Thank GOD Three months of time wasting by ERA and carol My wife and I do not want to get anybody into trouble, but we are Saddened Disappointed and Shocked by the service we have received from ERA and the trust we put in carol From the 14 March 2024 to date 23 April 2024 There has been no communication with carol 39 days and no communication from carol Please forgive me if I am wrong, but is this the way a Sole agent works for her clients? Are my wife and I so bad to be treated like this? We have four new agents that have shown interest in the property already. We will not use ERA ever again and I will make sure I post on social media, hello peter etc. the service we got from ERA Because it is only fair to other people who want to sell their property, not to ever receive the treatment we received from ERA and carol Thank You.

My name is Marius ******tze I stay in Klerksdorp We ask agent Francis of Rawson Cell Number : *** To please come an evaluation on our house as we intend to sell our house in Klerksdorp She came gave us a long story plus the house information, took pictures of the house and told us she would get back to use soonest. And we waited, for her to come back. And we waited, because we thought that Rawson would be a good estate agency to sell our house. Eventually I sent her a WhatsApp and phoned her. No answer to phone calls no reply on WhatsApp. She never had the decency to come back to us and tell us that she and Rawson had no more interest in our property. It has now been three weeks with no communication from her at all. My wife and I decided that such bad service from Rawson did not warrant using Rawson as an agent. We decided to go with another estate agency, make them sole agent, because they gave us excellent service. My wife and I want to buy a property in Marloth Park. But this bad service from Rawson makes us think twice before we would consider Rawson in Marloth Park I do not believe this is very good service from Rawson. I will endeavor to tell all never to use Rawson. Before you use Rawson make sure the agent is genuine and Professional to sell your property. Thank you. Marius ******tze

This is the FIFTH time, yes the FIFTH time, I am posting this story on Hello Peter THIS IS THE FIFTH TIME I AM POSTING THIS ON HELLO PETER WITH NO ANSWER COMMUNICATION OR CONCLUSION Four times I have posted this on Hello Peter with no result conclusion or any help from MULTICHOICE DSTV I Find it very alarming and concerning that MULTICHOICE DSTV care so little for their paying customers and clients. Why does MULTICHOICE DSTV let their clients be ********** like this and held hostage by MULTICHOICE DSTV TECHNICIANS FOR PAYMENTS. I pay my monthly subscription to MULTICHOICE DSTV diligently and this is the service I get from THEM……. All my previous stories had this response without any results Enquiry Reference Number: ***3 Enquiry Reference Number: ***2 Enquiry Reference Number: ***7 The answer that was left on Hello Peter from MULTICHOICE DSTV WITH NO RESULTS. The dstv dealer said I would be contacted by a dstv technician. I presumed it was a technician that worked for the company not an outside contractor. A **** artist. I was contacted by Wahte Jones Company Dish tecnicians *** See picture 1 I was told by him he would be here Friday 11 August 2023 At 13.00 pm He arrived with an assistant Two black men In a white BMW No markings on his car about being a company or a dstv technician I showed him the errors on the decoders He looked at all the problems and did not give me a quote on the work he was going to do and the cost involved. He just started working immediately He replaced the eye on my dish. He replaced some TV cables See Picture 2 He replaced a little junction box behind one decoder See picture 3 After completing the work that took no longer than 30 minutes he sat down and sent me an invoice via WhatsApp to the value of R 9500.00. I rejected the invoice. He subsequently deleted that invoice and sent me a new invoice to my WhatsApp. See picture 4 I had to pay him R 6985.00 Immediately See proof of payment made to his account NR Leshabana Standard Bank Account number *** He did not leave the property and held my wife and I HOSTAGE until we did an immediate EFT to his account for the amount of R 6985.00 We paid him accordingly as we were petrified for our lives and safety. He then left After he left I sent him a WhatsApp asking him the name of the company that employed him to do the work at my property. He refused to answer my calls and my WhatsApp messages. Finally late on Saturday night he sent me a message and a picture that he was still working See picture 5 I continuously wanted to know which company employed him to do the work on my decoders. Finally he sent me a picture that the number he got my info from was an unknown number See picture 6 Now I have never been one not to pay for services rendered. I have always been one to pay for services rendered. But I have been ****med. I do believe that this man and his partner has ripped us of and ****med us as well as hold us HOSTAGE for the payment. I do believe mnet and dstv must investigate this case This person his company and his assistant Dish technicians Cell number VAT # *** Email : *** *** N PHUTHENI NR LESHABANA Bank Account NR Leshabana Standard Bank Account number *** Address 5 Dale Road Midrand Please note VAT Number is the same as his cell phone number. The only information I can verify is his account number we had to pay the money into. I urge MNET and DSTV to look into this matter very very seriously as these are the people who are doing work for MNET and DSTV and ****ming people. People that are ****ming and charging so much extra money for work done. I do believe you have to be a MULTICHOICE DSTV agent before you perform any work on people’s decoders etc. Please advise the way forward before I make this a public issue against MULTICHOICE and DSTV. The FOURTH story MULTICHOICE DSTV , is this how much you care for your paying customers, or your future clients……. Do you reading this want to be a MULTICHOICE DSTV customer and client. Ask yourself this question….. I will endeavour to tell all my friends family etc. never to be a MULTICHOICE DSTV subscriber. Now I understand why MULTICHOICE and DSTV are going down and losing customers and clients. PLEASE Do not join MULTICHOICE or DSTV They do not care for their customers and clients.
