My contribution to the medical aid,Sizwehosmed,was increased by 15% on Sat 1/11/25,as I could no longer afford this,I cancelled my membership,and asked for the money they took from my account to be refunded,as this was the first indication of how much the increase would be,but my e mails have been ignored,and phoning them on my cell is a waste of time,as when you are number 1 they cut you off,stay away from this Medical aid they are sharks.
I have an issue,with Milex,a company I have dealt with for years,and up to now have been satisfied with their service.My problem is a Hurricane Air Fryer,which I have bought spare parts for without a problem,as a pensioner,I have to fix my own things,but now the part I need that controls the heating via a set of points has malfunctioned,but Milex insist I book the Fryer in,as the part I need, is not for sale,this is bad customer service,as I live in Sedgefield Southern Cape,and it would take a good deal of time,and money to book this in.This part is vulnerable,as the Bowl/table motor/element are.which I have had to buy, and fix since I bought it,so why is this part not available to me,so I can fix it as cheaply as possible.Is this the service I can now expect,bad Service Millex.
Over the years ,I have bought many things,from Takealot,and have never had a problem with anything,especially with returns. But my last order which included a toilet seat cover,I have been treated very badly.The toilet seat cover sent to me was the size, that would fit a babies potty,and suspect it had already been returned,because the stitching was coming apart.But Takealot rejects the return,saying the packing was faulty,and goods damaged.
This is an update on my review of Outsurance. Having reversed the debit order, with my bank,Outsurance is now going to stop a further amount, in a few days,for the same quote they gave me. How do I get through to these people that NO is NO, I want no further contact with them. A.Haley
I asked for a quote,on multi- insurance cover,I got a sweet talking guy,Tyrone,if that is his real name,he asked me a stack of questions, I did point out for him, not to go ahead with anything,and even wrote an e mail not long after,to say sorry, but I will be staying with my present insurance,this should have been all that is required. But even after several e mails,I kept getting stuff from Out ins,as if I was a signed up member. I have never signed anything, to say I wanted to go ahead with any insurance. But on the 1st of the month,there is a debit order stopping money from my account. Don"t deal with these people.

On the 10 of April,I was not having a good day,but at the end of my long shopping,when I wanted to purchase,a Microwave Oven,there was a mix up with the price tag,and it was deemed to be correct by an employee. But on paying,the price was considerably more,but all the people involved in this mistake,at no time showed any animosity towards me,and after getting together it was decided that I could have the item,at the lower price,so this gesture turned my day around,and made it a memorable one.
This is a blatant con,they show camera batteries,and once you have paid,and received all the nonsense of what you have purchased,etc,then they come with a story, that they are unable to supply the batteries, due to a ban on the import of them. They now ask if I want to have a credit,which I have told them I do not,and want a total refund.but they don't answer.
I sent my first e mail to the Knysna Municipality,on the18/12/22,the only reply I had,after more e mails sent,was to say I have a Collab ref # 1407332 not signed,but said from Municipality Manager,on the 6/2/23.still no communication from them. What I need to know is as I have a pay as you go electricity meter,and each time I buy,there is an additional levy for availability of electricity,+ tax which is regularly increased.So if I go back to being billed each month,then this extra falls away.
I closed my account with Telkom around Nov 2021,and was sent an account payable by the 26 of Nov,this was promptly paid. On the 4th of Dec I received a final invoice,with a refund owing to me,the only answer I got from Telkom was from Liwania, who asked for Id documents etc.8 /12 /22 since then there has been no answer from anybody as to why no refund has been paid out to me.
