I purchased a fiberglass koi filter in 2019 from Phoenix Pools in Spartan . It was relatively expensive at the time as it has the easy access lid which makes these filters more expensive than the normal pool filters. Last week I had developed a hair line crack and the filter was leaking. I was extremely disappointed and considering it had been three years since purchase, I thought I was going to have to buy a new one. I called Phoenix pools and spoke with Barry who is a scholar and a gentleman. Barry acknowledged that this should not happen. No questions asked, they have replaced it free of charge. What great service. I take my hat off to you. Thank you.
I am always wary about purchasing on a new website or web based company I have no knowledge of. I recently placed an order with Braai culture for a built in braai. The braai was by far the cheapest in the market for the model I was wanting. I paid up-front and waited to see what would happen. I must say I was pleasantly surprised. They kept me in the loop and my braai arrived within a week. The service was great. My only disappointment is that I am wanting a second unit. The price has risen by 12% in only 2 weeks.
I am looking for a laptop. After seeing Game advertising the DELL Inspiron 3580 Core i7 at R 12 999,00 I rushed off to 3 different Game stores. Not only did they not have stock, but one assistant told me that they never did have stock. I left my contact details with them and they promised they would get stock and contact me. They never came back to me despite them telling me they would do so, well over a week ago. They are today (Black Friday) advertising the very same laptop at R7799,00. Guess what - They have no stock. Game just seem to advertise empty promises and offer items at prices they never wish to honor. Is this a ploy just to get you into the store. Poor strategy Game....
A fraudster spent R 19980,00 on an order with takealot on the 19/09/2019 on my credit card. Absa contacted me that day as the transaction was picked up as fraudulent (the phone number used did not match mine). Unfortunately the transaction went through. I contacted Takealot to try and stop the order. They told me it was a same day delivery and that the order had already been delivered. They refused to give me any details at all regarding the transaction. What was purchased or where it was delivered to. They said I needed to open a police case and get a section 25?? Considering it was "supposedly my transaction" I cannot understand why takealot would not give me my information. I was appalled by Takealot's attitude towards me. They treated me like I was the criminal. I am still waiting for a promised call from a senior person at Takealot. This review is not to blame takealot for the theft, but to report on there absolute non interest in my loss. "They got their money and that is all they are interested in". Should any such incident happen to you, do not expect any help, sympathy or even valid information regarding the theft from Takealot. You also will not have access to speak or correspond with anybody that is willing to help.
Pay a fortune to have 12 red roses delivered to my wife at work on valentines day. No delivery, no answer on the phone. Only an auto generated e-mail response - pathetic. This really is terrible service. Will never use Net Florest again.
