I regret the day I joined this medical aid, if only I could see in the future to know I would have received a diagnosis of cancer I would never have left Discovery Health. I'm not getting any assistance I raised complaints no one has the decency to call me back, instead I'm having to call them almost every day and no one can give me a straight answer instead I'm having to call back to my doctor the agents are rude and lack empathy on the calls. I called the doctors office and even the secretary can confirm she was advised nothing else is needed however they don't proceed, she could even tell me of the agents lack of customer service and it's like they don't save notes as you having to explain every time. I'm left in distress as I'm having to worry. I would not recommend anyone to join on social media you just see the good because they hide the bad reviews.
Very disappointed bought a pool about 3 weeks ago only set it up on Saturday we struggled to fill the pool the water was moving so slow only to see the pool is leaking at the seams, so I had a closer look at the reviews I understand another company makes this however why is takealot not making sure the company puts the polls through strict measures for this not to happen I wasted so much money on water and this I will not pay. I have a pool party scheduled for my Saturday coming however now don't know what will happen. I'm not going wait till you guys still test etc. I want a new one delivered before Friday cause this has been stress
Ridiculous seriously I've been struggling with Sars since July to get a refund, they have been verifying my banking details and every time it's a different excuse I'm tired of calling sending documents. they close complaints as being resolved when nothing is resolved and they did not even make contact with me. Disgrace, I need an urgent call and this to get sorted
I'm so disgusted with the services received from Std bank insurance. I had a burst pipe two weeks before Christmas and made contact with Std bank, the first day I called someone was going to call me back as I called on a Saturday, I waited and waited and no call back I eventually called them back the next day. Came to found out nothing was logged. The assesor came the Tuesday and gave feedback to Std insurers they did not have the decency to call me back with the outcome after a week I made contact keeping in mind the leak had cost alot of damage to the point I had to switch the water off at the main as now it not o ly damaged the structure as initially reported but also my kitchen cupboards. When I called at that time they informed they will be cash settling the claim as the assesor advised it will cost to much which I understood. I had the leak fixed privately and had waited for the builders to come out for the structure damage, again no contact from Std bank I had to call to find out when they will be out it's been almost two weeks now since they were out and still I'm the one having to do follow up calls and being promised a call back. still nothing, I called today the telephone etiquette is putrid as your staff as no empathy for your client's at all, I was suppose to receive an email with documents and guess what I'm still waiting. This is not on as I'm now having to live with a whole in the wall In between the kitchen and the bathroom. I make sure to pay my premiums o. time each month without fail I didn't not even bother claiming for the cupboards as I really cant wait for Std bank to fix this has caused so much stress alot of time me always having to follow up, I'm definitely thinking of changing and won't recommend them to anyone.
I am really disgusted with the service I received from Miway. On the 9th I had a flat Tyre and unfortunately did not have a spare wheel nor could I drive to a garage as I had a puncture. The road side assistance came and loaded the motor onto the truck I advised the tow truck guy the window is still open and he just abruptly removed the key which in turn jammed the ignition. When arriving at home I could see the light was on in the car and tape as if the ignition. was still on and asked him if he left the key in the car, which he also thought he did he checked and there was no key but at this point the ignition was jammed thus it was on without the key, he then got they key in front of the truck where he left it, he tried to reverse the car off however he could not get the key in due to jamming the ignition he struggled and then said I don't know how this car works. I then tried and then the key was stuck in the ignition as he already jammed it and it would not turn. I specifically ask him "Prince what did you do to the ignition" his reply being let me try again however my husband then just advised him to leave it as we don't want to hurt the car more. We called the insurance and advised them of this by this time the battery ran flat they then sent out another towing company to jump the battery and the guy of the different even advised this is not a battery problem the ignition is jammed because even the steering wheel is moving and not locked. We advised my way of this and they the ln arranged a conference call with the first towing company that caused it. In the recording the guy even admits that he abruptly took the key out. Mi way then said they will send it to the procurement department and then get back on the 10th, keeping in mind the key was stuck in the cars ignition all night. On the 10th we did not hear a word from the insurance up until we had to call where they advised my husband they still busy, no sorry that they did not call or get back to us, keeping in mind the key is still stuck and the ignition still showing on. Today they called to say they still busy and wanted again to know what happened when we already explained and had to use the call on the 9th zin order to decide who to keep accountable. No courtesy car offered no concern at all, what is the reason for having insurance We've been with Miway for 8 years almost never missed a premuim and this is the service we get. I'm sorry I changing insurance companies I will rather pay more and get great service. In saying this the company that they used for the towing they sent a message with the person they would send out and sent someone completely different how is that safe for woman alone. I want the extra traveling far le and having to take a Uber refunded I'm also taking this to the papers and ombudsman as the service is absolutely dismal!!
<p>So our house was broken into two weeks ago and our laptop was stollen the insurance requested we get proof to show that we owned the laptop. The laptop contract was taken out by my husband few years back and he did not renew the contract however he wanted proof from mtn and every time he gets sent to the store or he has call the centre and when we call them they dont assist please make contact with him</p>
<p>So after a month of trying to move my medical aid to private capcity its still not done, everytime i get the run around and im fed up now in the meantime im without medical and i explained to ull if anything should happen to my son and he cant go to hospital due to ur pathetic service ill keep u responsible here is my ref number i expect feedaback asap ********** 967 otherwise ill take my complaint to the ombudsman for medical services</p>
<p>So i posted on their wall sent numerous inbox messages no reply. So here i go agin i informed discovery i am no longer working and would like to change my plan to a plan i can afford however they decide to restrict me telling me which options i can change to i informed the lady assisting me tha is not possible as currently i ncannot afford the amount im paying now and she then confirmed i will have to cancel im taking this up up the ombudsman for medical service</p>
