<div>Shocking, shocking service from start to finish. Lost documentation, lost proof of payment. No staff to load goods so made use of local, unprofessional, off the street people. Boxes dropped and items broken. No recourse regarding their Insurance, nor even acknowledgement of lodged claim. This company might have been around for years and probably was reputable at one stage, NOT SO ANY LONGER. REALLY, REALLY BAD.</div>
Wish there was a way to rate lower than a 1 star. My question: Why does Makro reply privately to one on Hello Peter. What are they worried about exposing. Massive advertising campaigns for online orders, immediate delivery service etc. WHERE, WHEN? Call them and you are only repeatedly told they are elevating the matter or that the supplier is a 3rd party or that you cannot speak to anyone higher than the pour souls who have to deal with irate customers. These are your employees Makro, they deserve better. Cancel an item and again a huge rigmarole to a) get it cancelled, b)get your refund within a decent length of time - I am still waiting for mine and c) no response form anyone to ANY emails other than to be told yet again that the issue has been elevated. Read up on Makro and its history, comments from other consumers and not a single one comes up with a rating above a 1 star!!! You should be ashamed Mr Molopo. High time Carte Blanche was asked to investigate this company.
Absolutely shocking service. I placed an order on line on 9th June. To date I have still not had any feedback from Makro regarding this order other than to let me know that they had received payment. No way to track this order either. Their Whatsapp portal is totally hopeless with no-one getting back to you if you elevate the query. One company that really needs to be investigated.
Ordered some macadamia nuts from them. Still waiting for them to be delivered. Was told that they would contact the farmer directly and get him to courier to me????? How does one do business that way? Guess I have lost my money as the owner/guy I spoke to flatly refuses to refund me.
SHOCKING SYSTEM, SHOCKING SERVICE ROVIDER. I took out pet insurance for my pet a year ago with One Plan Pet Insurance. They were only too helpful when I app**** to take the policy out. Ha! hA! try cancelling the policy......not only do you have to send them an e mail requesting cancellation but you cannot talk to anyone in the Retentions Dept by phone call. You simply get told they will call you. Well.......over 5 days now and not a single phone call, not one. I did however receive another copy of the Original Policy via e-mail yesterday. What a joke. On phoning them again today, told the same thing, they will contact me. Oh well ....... still waiting, yet again.
Got through to Patience on the Whatsap portal. She dealt with my query efficiently and professionally. It was a pleasure chatting to her. Def a 5 star experience. Thank you Patience and Oneplan.
Awesome, awesome company. From start to finish they went out of their way to help. Prompt, efficient, professional and courteous. Nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommended.
Ordered a tv from Game on line on 4th December 2019. It is now 14th Jan 2020. I am still waiting for the product to be delivered or my money returned to me. I have been shunted from pillar to pist with nobody interested in taking responsibility or following through on anything they have promised to do or find out. You can never speak to a manager. Their e mail service simply passes the buck and getting your money refunded is a no go. I have spent a fortune on trlephone calls with absolutely no results. Today they delivered a fridge!!!! In retrospect I should have kept it and sold it.....they probably dont know who it is for anyway. I phoned them to tell them about this delivery only to be told it is now the Freight Companys problem ......... I seriously give up. The incompitancy is mind boggling. I continue the fight!!!!!
