I bought a box of tiger oats bran and it was full of moths and weevils. I took a photo of the contents and the bar code on the box and attached photos to my email in January this year. What a debacle ever since. I thought it would be helpful to them to be aware of a faulty batch of one of their products . I have sent four different emails to various departments and the last one received from them was alerting me to the Popia act and requesting a whole list of information for them to proceed with my complaint !!! An Absolute Farce. I will no longer buy any of their products !
The Wiesenhof coffee shop in Life Vincent Pallotti Hospital Western Cape. Service and food were really good. The staff were extremely friendly - one waiter in particular, named Arthur, went out of his way to lend me his personal adaptor for my cell phone. Hospitals are normally places of anxiety - what a pleasure to meet such a helpful group of people 🤩
Once again Outstanding Service and reasonably priced items. The company is very professional and go the extra mile - Well Done :)
My daughter in London sent a surprise gift. The following is my attempts to follow up here in SA of a non received surprise !!!!! "My daughter in London used Uber Eats to collect books from Exclusive Books in Fourways Sandton Shopping Mall to be delivered to me and my husband. She paid R1189.30 on 31/7/22 (details of name and cell number). It was supposed to have been a surprise gift and only after a number of days she asked if the gift had arrived. She contacted Uber in London who told her that 48 hours had lapsed and nothing could be done !!!!! I contacted Exclusive Books who confirmed that Uber had collected the books at 10am on 1/8/22 (O/N given)" I have subsequently contacted Uber twice from South Africa and twice they have advised that my daughter submit a complaint >>>>>>>> THIS IS TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE SERVICE - we are running round in circles !!! Don't use Uber for delivery of goods - WASTE OF MONEY AND ENERGY
During the mayhem of Tuesday 13 July with groups targeting shopping malls I needed to buy an urgent birthday gift so decided to phone Fourways Mall to ascertain if they had the product I was looking for. I spoke to Margaret who answered my call. I asked her if the item I wanted was available and she took my number and said she would phone me back. I was taken aback when she DID phone me back with prices of the various brands in stock. What Wonderful customer service - Well Done Checkers and Thank YOU Margaret as I went to your store and got the product I was looking for on that tumultuous day

I was given a very special Christmas Gift in Dec'19 of a MacAir Workbook- it cost approx R23 000. I am a book keeper and wanted to finish the accounts on my Dell laptop before swapping over to Apple (which would then talk to my iPad and iPhone). The MacAir was opened during May and to my dismay was faulty from box ! It took 13 days for Apple to fix A COMPLETELY NEW UNIT with REPLACING BATTERY & TOUCH ID & MLB. I was given a Case No. to follow up with my complaint ********** 39579 from Apple support - a complete waste of time! I am a very disillusioned Apple customer !
We don't often get takeaways but last Friday 27 April decided to try our local Nando's for a takeaway, Leaping Frog Shopping Centre, just off William Nicol Johannesburg. I phoned the land line number found on the internet and was connected to a Call Centre. It took at least 5 minutes to repeat my name / address and food order ! I phoned the order through at 6:35pm and was told it would be approx 1 hour. At 7:55 I phoned the land line again and was connected to yet again the Call Centre who couldn't help me as they only take the orders !!! 3rd time lucky I connected direct to the store. I was assured that the food was on the way ........ At 8:40 the food arrived, One hour late, Cold and paid for an item which was not delivered ! I did phone and complain direct to the store and was refunded for the one item and it was later on delivered free of charge - By this time we had lost my appetities - Very Disappointing !
