I have heard great things about Dr van Zyl, and have been trying to contact her rooms for more than 2 weeks. The line just says "our lines are busy". You can also not leave a message, because the mailbox is full. Emails go unanswered. This is extremely unprofessional and frustrating.
PLEASE DON'T USE BOOKING.COM AT ALL!! It's a total ****. They confirm your booking via email, but still advise you to call the facility. And when you call to confirm, they have no reservation made. These people are ****s.
Yet again, Vodacom has failed terribly. 1. My husband called Vodacom to complain about a data card that he cancelled 3 times, which was not resolved. The consultant said because my husband is such a good customer, he can offer him a better package. NOT AN UPGRADE. A few days later we received the email saying he was upgraded. We still have the recording if you want to listen to it. 2. I went in to upgrade on a line. I signed for no insurance. Got a call yesterday, a lady saying she wants to help me activate the upgrade. I said you are calling on the phone that you say has not been activated!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh, she says, you do not want the insurance? I mean, really???? Do you train your calling centres in being dishonest and straight out ****s? Vodacom, you suck. 3. I wanted an extra data sim card, which is charged at R299 for 100 GB a month. I got a message from the shop saying it is approved, but I must pay in R1700. When I asked for what it was, he said because I have so many contracts on my name, I must pay the penalty. So it actually counts against me that I am a good customer? I am being punished for the fact that I am a client since 1997, and not ONCE defaulted on a payment? I contacted MTN, and was given the same deal. In our household we spend about R10 000 a month at Vodacom, and it is just not worth the ********** service anymore. Do not bother to contact, we are not interested anymore.
I had a few problems while staying at the Courtyard Rosebank, with the room itself, not with the staff. I communicated with Natasja through email, and she was incredibly friendly and gracious about the whole experience. Thank you so much.
In the past two years we bought quite a few products from Wootware - mostly expensive. The service was absolutely wonderful. The orders arrived well before the promised date, and the goods are in perfect order. We recently had a small problem with a graphics card. Wootware sent a courier on their cost, tested the item and gave feedback that there was indeed a problem. They are either replacing the item for a new one, or giving us the choice of a refund. I cannot recommend them enough. I deal with a lot of online purchases, and this is by far the best experience. Thank you Wootware!

We used Five Star Limo for my daughter's matric dance. What an amazing experience! It was everything we wanted and more. On time, excellent service and to feel like a VIP is something you could get used to! Thanks a million.
Why on earth Investec is known as an "elite" bank, I have no idea. We receive better service from "normal" banks. My husband is a chartered accountant with a phD. We wanted to move our private bank accounts as well as EIGHT business accounts, with quite a lot of money going through. It took literally months for anyone to come back to us, and after a tedious process, managed to get a personal account for my husband. Then I had to ask for permission to handle all online banking on my husband's behalf, because I do all the banking. After sending through the required documentation was sent, I had to ask after TEN days when it will be activated. With the delivery of his card, a letter came with stating that it gives him access to Bidvest or SAA Lounge at the airports. So great, last week Monday we went to OR Tambo early before our flight to make use of this. And then we must hear only my husband is allowed to go in, not me. So should I stay outside while my husband enjoys the "fantastic" perks of having a frickin Investec account????? This is such disgusting service. Needless to say, we asked for the immediate closure of his account, and will not move forward to taking over all our other bank accounts. Investec needs a serious wake-up call.
On my husband's red package he is elligible to share data "Red Family Share". He has a lot of data and tried 7 times on the app to transfer to me, who is also on Vodacom contract. He follows the correct routine, and everytime it says "unsucessfully shared". We called Vodacom helpline, and they said the option is not yet operational on the app - but the button is there. They said to try the website - still could not do it. Then I tried on the app and could transfer data to my husband - so the function works!!!! We then called Vodacom again, they could not help, then referred us to UPGRADES!!!!!!!!! Obviously they could not help. Can you just activate this function?????????? Vodacom has terribly bad service - how do you not have competent staff and an app that actually works????
I went through security at OR Tambo yesterday on my way to a flight to George. My silver bracelets alerted the security. A male security guard ordered me to take off my bracelets. I said it is difficult to take off, and asked for a female security guard to search me. There was NO female security guard. I again said taking it off is almost impossible. His answer - if you want to make the flight, MAKE it possible! He was so rude and arrogant. No wonder South Africa has a bad name for our terrible service.
