I app**** to MTN to activate an esim for my Samsung watch. After a week of repeated emails, they finally tell me that they cannot do it!!!! How on earth is this possible? They offer a service and then say they cannot do it. Should I now cancel my contract with them and move over to Vodacom?
I have been trying to purchase an item off Samsung site for over a week now. I cannot get to complete the purchase because of an error on the Samsung website. I have tried contacting their customer service people and have NOT received a solution to the issue. I spoke to a Simon twice and on both occasions he promised to call me back but has NEVER done so. I have the calls recorded as do they I assume. Do I have to beg Samsung to render customer service and to make a sale? It is obvious their "sales" people work for a salary and couldn't be bothered if a sale goes through or not! No brand loyalty or customer satisfaction. Perhaps I should move my complaints to social media and also possibly seek a different product on my next purchase. Samsung sales team are THOROUGHLY USELESS AND DISAPPOINTING.
Honor advertises the Magic V3 foldable phone heavily on their site and also when it was released globally recently. I have contacted them MULTIPLE times through various mediums enquiring local availability. They simply ignore all my emails and tweets. I am disappointed at their total lack of customer service communication
I queried an item from Sunsky (China). They responded to my email with an excellent price and ridiculously low shipping. I purchased the item and paid via Paypal. The sales manager (Lynn) was extremely helpful and kept me informed all the way via Whatsapp. Really professional. I received the item exactly TEN DAYS (weekends included) from payment. I did not have to pay any customs also. The item was delivered to my door. The item was a genuine article and precisely what I ordered. I am truly impressed.
This is the first online store that charges more for shipping if you order more. Their shipping rates LITERALLY fluctuate daily even if the items in your cart remain exactly the same. I have NO idea how they calculate shipping. Their prices online are keen but then the shipping rates make the purchase uneconomical.
I app**** for TWO contracts with MTN at a store in Clearwater Mall. BOTH contracts were approved but have still not been finalised almost a month later, because of SIMPLE issues which MN is dragging its feet on. They cannot finalise a port from another SP and my trade-in has some hiccup which they haven't resolved with Samsung. I emailed their customer care and have received no joy to date
MTN Offers in their latest catalogue the Samsung S24 series with trade-in and also an optional add-on contract with the Tabs9FE. I app**** for a contract (which was approved) only to be told that they don't have deals with the Tabs9FE if a trade-in is offered. This is MISLEADING ADVERTISING. There is no such issue with other SPs
Cell C advertises the Huawei Mate XS in their latest catalogue. I call them the very next day after the catalogue is released and they claim not to have stock. I try calling several branches close to me and they all say the phone is discontinued. So why advertise when you cannot deliver? Pathetic !
I was to receive a phone from MTN, but the delivery was NOT made because the ineffective biometric authentication could not 'authenticate' me. I called MTN and they say I must take up the inane system with DSV couriers. I showed the driver a copy of my ID and proof of residence (as requested). I then showed him my ORIGINAL ID BOOK. He delivered at my home, WHICH IS REGISTERED WITH THE MTN AND OF WHICH I HAVE PROOF OF RESIDENCE. HE COULD SEE THAT I AM ME, and yet he took the phone back because of the STUPID BIOMETRIC AUTHENTICATION FAILURE. This has caused me a great deal of inconvenience. Bank credit card deliveries, which are worth much much more than the phones you deliver do not implement such an ineffective elaborate useless system! And then today DSV calls me again to arrange delivery for tomorrow, but with biometric authentication!!!! I refused to accept this failure for a second time. I am on the verge of cancelling my contract with MTN because of this useless system implemented by DSV.
