I had upgraded my phone on the 10th of July and it got delivered on the last week of July and it came with 2month free theft cover which you could extend. On the 11th of September I called the insurance team and was quoted R255 but 30min later I received an SMS saying that I will be charged R336. I immediately called to cancel and I received an SMS saying that it has been cancelled. Today I receive my statement and I was charged for insurance and on top of that I was charged twice for insurance but different amounts. I called insurance and spend 35min getting this sorted( the agent was not helpful) and was advised that they will call me back which they did. I was then advised that I will be debited the incorrect amount but a refund will be credited NJANI when I asked for it it be cancelled in September which was then confirmed via text but I must still pay for it. In order for they system to correct it later at my expense. I always ensure that the account that gets debited has the available funds now I have to add extra funds for a fault that was not caused by me. Fix it.
Firstly I would like to point out that I have been with Vodacom for over 10years and have only had maybe 1 or 2 issues with an advisor but most of the time the advisors/agents do a good job. My issue is the vodacom process themselves. I had upgraded on the 10th of July and received my device the end of July. I received two months free insurance but decided to get/extend the insurance so i clicked on the link from the SMS to get insurance which is R255 for the samsung flip 7 fe but received an error, I then called customer service who said it is R360, which I would definately not take coz on the link it was cheaper. the agent then advised that there is currently an issue and IT is working on it. And this was on the 27th of August were the agent asked that I email the screenshot of the error and she will get back to me. The agent is not at fault at all as she can only provide feedback on what she is advised. Vodacom has very poor policies and process. LOYALTIE MEANS NOTHING FOR THEM. FIX YOUR WAYS. I want the insurance but at the amount I saw via the link.
I had the best assistance in my entire life from Luthando who was working on her birthday which I feel is a crime but anyway. She is the best in the business I even forgot what I was calling for. I was actually calling to cancel my contract but she did a great job of convincing me to get the device that I want. she is honestly going to go far in life, she is determined goal driven and knows how to make a customer feel valued. She is an asset at Vodacom as she wants to grow within the business to a higher level. she needs to be promoted asap. I was so happy throughout the call and kept telling her that she is doing an amazing job. She walked me through the whole process and made sure I understood everything. I really hope she gets the recognition she deserves. She was AMAZING and she is going to go far in the company. She deserves a raise, a promotion and 3 days off.
I had lay buyed a bed and sleeper couch last year April and finished it of this year April. 5 months later the base broke,I know very well that Fair price does not have a warranty but based on the paperwork they provided me it has a manufacturers warranty of 6 months.I reached out to customers service(spoke to Aatifa Kazie) and asked that they help me get in touch with the manufacturer. The proceed to tell me that Fair price won't cover it and I advised that I am aware and would like to get in touch with the manufacturer. They asked which store it was that I purchased from which I told them and they never got back to me.Fair price is one big joke from the quality to the delivery service to the customer service.
I just spoke to Sipho and he is such a breath of fresh air,I feel he is the only person holding Mafadi up. He was polite, respectful, kind and understanding unlike some other gentleman that I will not name. Sipho hasnt sent the documents yet but I have a feeling he will.He deserves a 14th check shem,Mafadi is not great but Sipho is really awesome
I find it so strange that at Tower House the elevator can be out of service for a whole week plus and there can be no hot water and it's treated like a norm. Please sort out your lives,it's disgusting that no one at Mafadi cares.
The customer service was rocky at first but Thabo who promised to call me back, did infact call and send a technician to come inspect the wifi connection in my flat.So yea
I just want to say thank you to Mamello who wished me happy birthday when I went to the kerk Street branch. It was a small gesture but found it sweet.
I have lived in Tower house for close to 3 years now and only had finger print access for a 1year or so,Coz they had to reset the system for whatever reason. My biggest problem is that you will wait at the door from 10min-30min waiting for the security who is either asleep with earphones in they ear or becoz they showing a potential tenant a flat(which is not part of they job).I knock of late from work (11pm) and get to the flat only to be calling at a security who is asleep with earphones in they ears worse part is that this particular guard sleeps even during the day.I have burnt food coz I went downstairs to the shop only to find the guard is not there, missed a food delivery, paid a waiting fee for my uber/bolt,late for work you name it.And it's not the security fault at all it's the building managers fault coz we wrote down our name last month still nothing. When I asked the guard they advised I should go see the building manager to get my finger print add,I think not when I pay rent I don't go ask the building manager I pay my rent coz I have to in order to continue living here I play my part and they should do the same. There is only one guard who is always on point the other two are either showing a flat to a potential tenant or shutting up noise kids/adults or sleeping.SOOOOOOO ANNNOYED
I went to FNB yesterday to set up an account so I can withdraw from my Paypal,I was assisted by Buhle who asked all the relevant questions to determine my needs and she did a wonderful job. I was then assisted by Sifiso who was just on top of his game.He made sure I got what I wanted and I left with a smile. A big thank you to Buhle and Sifiso who made a boring task into a fun, fast expirence
