Our company made use of Atlas for a conference. Some of us drove on the smaller shuttles, instead of the bigger busses. A few hours into our trip, a guy flashed and hooted at us. He came up to the driver and stated that the trailer was open and our luggage was busy falling out. The guy picked up one of the bags and returned it to us. We climbed out to investigate, just to realize that the trailer was open!!! To my luck, my bag was the only one that was nowhere to be seen. They emailed me immediately to say they will refund me the money of what the items in my bag was worth. I got quotation and everything and now suddenly they state that they are not responsible and as a token of good will, they will only give me a small amount (not even an 8th of what everything was worth). I emailed back to say that it is unacceptable, ect. No reply. Emailed again a week later, no reply. Now 5 days later, still no reply. I never signed anything to state that I know my bag is in the trailer at own risk. Best of all is, when the driver realized that the trailer wasn't locked, he looked around the ground and found pieces of grass and plastic to try and secure the trailer. I have footage and 10+ witnesses to all of this and they just don't care. Ignoring a HUGE mistake of yours, is not going to make me go away. I lost A LOT of precious items. I am busy seeking legal advise.
A marketer from Vodacom rewards called me in end November. She explained to me that vodacom was moving all their existing clients to a new type of contract and they are contacting everyone who is still on the older type of contract. She confirmed what I was paying monthly and what airtime I was getting. Which was +- R450 with R230 airtime. She stated that she wants to move me over to this contract at no extra cost. I asked REPEATEDLY if I will need to pay extra or if the amount I will need to pay will stay the same. She confirmed a few times that I will NOT be paying extra and will actually be "scoring" airime for a few months while still paying my original amount. On the 3rd of December, to my surprise, I saw on my Vodacom app that my bill is over R600!!!!! I called Vodacom immediately and asked what the hell was going on as that is NOT what the lady said on the phone. The lady said they will look into it and call me back in 1-2 weeks. That would've been before Christmas that they should have called. Ref for the call Rco16052. I still have not received a call back and over R600 was deducted from my account. This is ****** unacceptable. If someone doesn't call me back within this week and refund me the difference and change my account back to what it was, I'm going to go to my bank and reverse this transaction.
My friend and I went out last night and went to McDonald's afterwards. It was just after 2:00am so obviously we went to the drive through. We ordered the double cheese burger meal with coke. My friend was driving and I was paying so I just gave her my card, she put my pin in and paid. I did watch as she put the pin in to see if she put it in correctly. My friend even asked me if I wanted the slip and I said it's not necessary and she put it in her cars' side-door. Went on to the pick up and the guy there said that we didn't pay. We told him we did and he again said we didn't pay. We said "Yes we did!" and we gave him the slip. Another guy came (in a different colored shirt), I think he was the manager, looked at the slip and said that it's not our slip. We said again that it was our slip. And he said "No it's not". We told him that we JUST gave him the slip out of our car door. My friend took the slip and showed him the time on it and the current time. The guy in the black shirt then said that this was for someone else and the total was something in the R300. I asked him "Is that what she swiped???". And he said no the lady at the paying till made a mistake. At that stage we didn't understand because she gave us the slip back after the transaction went through. The guy in the black shirt then, very arrogantly, and almost screaming at us, asked "Then show me the sms! ". I told him that my phone was off. But I took my friends phone and logged into ABSA on her phone and then it didn't look like it went through. So then the guy said we should just go around and pay. We went and climbed out, saw other cars in the queue, and knocked on the door. The one guy that we could see was ignoring us and then we banged on the door. He then just showed us with his hands that they are closed inside and looked ahead again. I then banged on the door again and the guy in the black shirt came and also showed us that they were closed. I then showed him that he should come to us. He then came and unlocked the door and we told him we want to pay. And he said "No you cannot pay inside, no one can help you here, you should go back in the queue and pay there". We proceeded to tell him that there is no way that we are going back in the queue and paying, we did that already! He then said "There's no cars in the queue, you have to go back there" we then said "We JUST saw a queue as we were driving up and were not going back there!". And he just shrugged his shoulders and said "Well that's where you have to pay. We cannot help you inside". We just told him "It's fine, we'll just not buy from you then". This was ABSOLUTELY 100% their fault. And we were treated like **** because of something they did wrong. I don't understand how they think that what they did and how they handled the situation was acceptable???
I ordered a ring for R1800 that is supposed to be sterling silver. Not even 2 weeks of wearing the ring, the colour started to come off of the ring and leaves colour on my husbands finger. I have send who knows how many emails to House of Kallie and Hello Pretty, but no one is coming back to me. This is the first time I have ordered with them and this will surely be the last if they do not even bother to reply. So unprofessional!!!
So me and 5 friends went to get pizza. My one friend ordered a regina pizza. When she got it it was hawaiin. And she told them that she didn't order that and then she told her it says on the slip that it's hawaiin. But she doesnt eat it because shes allergic to pineapple. When i told her that i was standing next to her and i heard her saying regina. And she started an argument in front of everybody saying that we are wrong. Eventully they made another one and the manager gave it to us and then said \Next time just know what you are ordering". Like we are stupid!!! We know exactly what we ordered!!! What happened to the customer is right? And when she realised she was wrong she started an argument with us!!! In front of everybody!!!!"""
