If there is one thing we know is as small businesses we operate invoice to invoice, we were expecting a global payment from FNB Namibia, for furniture removal services, When I followed up why it had not reflected the forex team confirmed that they received it but it is with their compliance department. I followed up in which they required further information and documentation for the transaction, like what was it for, service rendered, invoice, standard regulatory requirements which I send back to the investigator, the lady without acknowledging our email sends the same email back says we didn't send her all the documentation on the email, luckily I had it open, and read her own mail back and ask her what did she not get back, only then she mentions other transactions from Namibia, one that occurred on the 21st of Jan the other on the 19th of Dec, which sum up to R1050 (Rolls eyes) its only on that back on forth I deduced she is looking for supporting invoices for those transactions, which have nothing to do with the transaction on hold, mind u, if u were to flag suspicious transactions why didn't they flag them within the 7 days when they occurred? why now never mind the amount also why was I the one that had to deduce she was looking for these invoices as well as it was not stated on her mail, including other company registration documents and certificates which was not stated on the mail by their investigator, who by the way does not acknowledge mails so if you don't follow up u won’t know where it is at in the process. In the meantime, our work is on hold, we cant pay drivers, we literally, cant pay internet, marketing insurance, we literally cannot work, our account is going on negative due to charges our debit orders are bouncing because their investigators don’t seem to know how to do their job and apply logic. I don't want want to mention her by name but have already seen so many complaints of this lady here on Hello peter dating way back so the fact that she is still doing this job and her attitude persist especially since based on the reviews here it seems she reserves it for the black customers only, it means she runs unchecked, which tells me FNB not only agrees with her behavior but condones it, not a good look for the bank, u don’t want your customers questioning if your stuff is qualified to do their job. That time my husband/partner is from Namibia his family and friends still reside in Namibia, you would think common sense would prevail?
This is for the Planet fitness in Bedford view. I was invited to join in August 2024, on application because it was linked to my vitality and that I took a Black tag option I was told my monthly fee will be R 370, however noticed the Debi check mandate for more than a R 1000 when I inquired they its administrative but it will be R 370 monthly. Anyway I immediately had to relocate b4 I could even use the membership, I then requested to cancel, that is when the admin informed me, I have been charged the over R1000 monthly fees which I have to pay, I asked how as it was supposed to be vitality and the admin informed it my membership was never linked to vitality, it is direct, although I have on record to show that I joined using vitality. Further more they continue to attempt to debit my account monthly even though I have it on email proof of cancellation. the amount increases each month as it shows they continue to add their bogus monthly fees. I continuously have to reverse with my bank but I was informed for a permanent solution I have to contact PF, which I have been in contact since the beginning of this mix up yet nothing has been done. I am apparently expected to go Bedfordview even though I informed them that I am not in close proximity. I would give a 0 rating if I could
Last year May I paid up my Credit card and requested that they close it, I got a letter stating the account will be closed on the 12th of June 2023, this year around June I followed up with wanting to close the bank account, I was told I cant close the account as I have an active credit card with oustanding fees. I asked how as it was paid up and closed, the consultant said they have to refer the matter to their vietnam team, I have been following up on all know channels, the credit card and bank account are still open to this day without reason of why a year later when I have insisted on closing them
I requested to downgraded my account from private banking in October 2023 but it seems it was actioned late. The banking fees for November and December were reversed, but I noticed that the Jan fees were still private banking fees which I requested for them to reverse. I have been logging calls since beginning of February 2024, they get closed without giving me feedback, when I call the consultants says according to the system, I got feedback, then further says they will add notes for actioning of the reversal. It is now mid-March with the back and forth, opening new cases and closing without feedback or the January private banking fees being reversed. I have legit exhausted all options because I have wasted so much time and airtime and there seems to be no way of escalating the complaint internally.
I am on a month-to-month contract, When I was unable to pay in November, they said I won't be able to use the facilities, So I got blocked from using the gym November and December, I have now paid January, they only allowed me for a week then blocked me and insisted I pay for November and December, how? when they refused me to gym so what exactly am I paying for? if they knew they were going to debit me why then did they block me from using the facilities because they should have allowd me to use the facilities, now it means I'm paying for nothing. I demand a refund for the November & December
on November the 14 I noticed that my business account was not showing on my profile, on the 17th I went to the branch and they said its because we have not been using it, I requested that it gets reactivated as I plan to start using it. The consultant at the branch gave me banking details in which I am to pay the outstanding balance at the same time he put in the request for it to be reinstated. on the 17th I got an email requesting documentation, I sent all the requested documents on the 25 including settlement letter of the requested amount. after that I think every 3 days I would get emails requesting same/similar information over and over, each time I would reply with requested information and documents, this has been going on until the 19 when I receive an email saying my request is been closed because I have not sent them the requested information, I replied to the consultant inquiring how as I have been sending all the information and documents each time, I even forwarded the emails to her but still nothing, its now over a month and our account is still not activated
I had 2 revolving loans with FNB, Settled and closed in 2020, lo and behold in 2022 they are still showing as active and affecting my affordability. FNB have said they have sent the updates to the Credit Bureaus however it still shows in the report from Experian, a report as recent as today. The stupid thing is that even they use the very same reports to calculate affordability even though you try to explain to the consultant that those accounts dont exist, they dont even check or follow up, its like they enjoy messing people's lives. If I could give a 0 stars I would, dont recommend it.

Call Centre is useless you will be on the line for over an hour and no one answers and they don't reply to emails either, its like they enjoy messing people's lives. If I could give a 0 stars I would, actually who monitors these bureaus is there no ombudsman or the like for such?
I have requested a settlement/paid up letter since Beginning of February, it is now end of March, still have not received anything and the account is apparently still active. Every time you call, the consultants assure it will be resolved but nothing actually happens. I have no idea now which route to take to finalize this matter
If I could give it a negative rating I would I had a revolving facility with FNB in 2018 in which I settled and closed in 2020 and another which I settled and closed in around September 2021, they have not updated this information with the credit Bureaus, This has been negatively affecting my affordability thus not having access to credit even with the very same FNB I have since not been able to acquire an asset I desperately needed for my business especially this festive season. I have been up and down with FNB to clear this but they legit could care less, I have exhausted all options
