I submitted a formal complaint to Hollywoodbets on 10 December regarding serious issues on my betting account and, to date, I have received a proper response. I have been a long-time Hollywoodbets customer and place a high volume of bets, including multiple lotto number bets. Because of this, I rely heavily on the accuracy and transparency of the platform. The issues I raised include: • Bet slips not visible on the app, despite funds being deducted • Being told via live chat that a bet had lost, only to later obtain the slip and confirm via independent score platforms that the bet had actually won • I was only credited after challenging the result with no explanation • Two winning bets (R200 stake each, R500 payout each) that remained pending for over a month and were not settled and then i was credited for the R200 instead of my winnings. My biggest concern is that if I had not challenged these outcomes, I would never have been paid. This raises serious questions about how many customers may be losing money due to incorrect settlements or missing bet visibility. The lack of response from Hollywoodbets since 10 December is unacceptable, especially given the seriousness of these issues and the potential regulatory implications. I am requesting: A full written explanation of what went wrong Confirmation that ALL my bets have been correctly graded and paid I expect transparency, accountability, and a prompt resolution. Our family lost everything and barely escaped with our lives on the 12th of April 2022. Since then I have been begging them to settle me and I feel like they just don't care what happens to my family and I. 1. They took away my 3 vehicles and I asked them if they could provide a courtesy car through ex gratia (a call centre agent from Momentum told me about this clause after she had about my wife being pregnant) and they declined after knowing my wife was going to be giving birth a few days later. 2. All our cars went to Ross Champion Pinetown. These guys are the worst. They don't return calls and emails. They still have 1 of my cars and it's been almost 4 months. They even lost my license disc for 1 of the vehicles. 3. My contents claim was a mission as well. Had to beg Reliant Loss Adjusters. These guys say "We here to help" what a joke. I had to use my own money to pay for things and ended up paying the bank interest. Gavin always makes it sound like he's doing me favors however was he appointed by Momentum to do a job and I pay a month installment for a policy for his so called favors. 4. My house is a total write off. I am still battling to get a payment from them. They have now sent me 3 offers to payout but still aren't reading and considering everything I'm stating. I'm even quoting stuff from the engineer’s report and they just ignore me. Momentum Insurance are in every email but they just choose to sit back and do nothing. Just as long as they pay me as little as possible. They don't even care about the non delivery by their useless service providers. My claim probably isn't resolved yet because i don't know anyone in these companies. I have complained to Momentum on Instagram and they said that someone will contact me however nothing. I don't think that I'm so unlucky to have gotten the worse people at Momentum. I honestly believe that this insurance company is useless and everyone needs to know about them. This reminds me of the unfortunate life insurance claim in 2018, when a guy was shot and they refused to pay because of blood sugar levels. Looks like social media is the only way to get a resolution with this company. They will only wake up after losing customers. I won't advise anyone to take up a policy with Momentum. I think my next move should be the ombudsman and then continue with the radio interview so the whole country can hear my story.

I'm not even claiming the value my property was insured for, I have shown them in multiple emails what's fair with proper support as well. I feel these people don't care what happens to my family and I. Just as long as they pay me as little as possible. They don't even care about their useless service providers. My contract was up for review and I wanted to cancel. A call centre agent offered me a great deal that I couldn't turn down however I haven't been receiving what was promised and have been trying to get to the bottom of this but keep getting the run around for many months. MTN keep directing me to the call centre however I can never get feedback from them. Surely these call are recorded as there should be proof of concent for renewal. I also had 3 other contacts due for upgrade now so the the 26/11/21 I decided to renew 1 data contract, cancel 1 data contract and upgrade the last. The agent in MTN Pivillion managed to cancel and do the data renewal but the system got an error for the upgrade. She has been trying like 4 times a day since the 26th as I have been getting rejection messages but still no luck. She also logged a ticket with MTN support but no feedback from them. Should I just look for another service provider? It doesn't seem like the support team in India wants to resolve my issue.
Hi There, so I recently discovered Aucor Auctioneers. It's a pretty cool but addictive app based auction site. I probably spent around R11k in the last 1 and a half months (on stuff I didn't really need) and had also increased the price on a number of lots that I wanted but lost. On the last auction I mistakenly added a price for 2 items (more than retail, without a warranty). The site doesn't ask for a confirmation when bidding and you can't really correct once a bid is added. So I ended up winning a number of lots but wanted to cancel 2 items. The manger, thin tall Indian gentleman (maybe owner?) told me he can cancel 1 item, I explained what happened and he said he can't help me and they can't go auction these products again. I then asked why, he said no one would bid. I then asked him what if someone doesn't collect the stuff he said they will be band and the stuff auctioned again. (lol I thought no one would bid). So I asked him one last time if I could take the items except 2 (cost R2500) he abruptly said no, it irritated me so I told him I won't take anything then, he said okay don't take anything and I will band you now very rudely (all this in front of another person). I really dont care if I use the site or not but I just think that Aucor should send their managers for some poeple interaction classes.
Good Day, I'm writing this hoping that it gets read by someone who can assist with our predicament. My sister obtained her teaching degree 3 years ago and registered as a government teacher. Apparently all teachers are then placed however she is still waiting but we know of many people that are being placed straight after they finish studying. We have been trying all avenues but can't get any assistance, she is even struggling to get private teaching jobs due to a lack of experience. Not sure what's our next option...
Hi there, I wanted to share this with you so you don't make the same mistake I have by hiring Winston Moonsamy from Durban to Mc your wedding or function. He has an online website which has a price list but that isn't really a choice because you will still end up paying the price of the highest package. He will come with a story about time frame at the last minute and you will have no choice but to pay. The package comes with sound for the function and is promised to be set up an hour before the function. This wasn't the case for my wedding on the 25th of December 2017 as we had to start an hour late because the sound wasn't there. So due to that delay many people left before we could even take out pictures. We met with him prior to our wedding and specifically asked him not to pick on places predominantly populated by Indians, not to make race jokes and not to use slangs but he still did all of the following and offended many people. My wife said that she didn't want to speak at all but he still put her on the spot and forced her to answer questions. He messed up our whole function and didn't have the decency to apologise to my wife and I. I even messaged him and still haven't gotten a response. We can't redo our function but please don't make the same mistake that we have made by hiring him.
<p>Hi there, we recently purchased a property via SA Homeloans in Durban. We as first time home owners didn't know what to check for in the house and were not guided through the purchase. We then moved in and found many many issues with the house. We seeked advice from SA Homeloans and were handed to a person named Brindley Gous who was very rude and not helpful. He just mentioned that SA Homeloans could not assist, I couldn't understand this because it should of been in their best interest as they actually funded the purchase. He called me a few times and didn't even let me speak in a few occasions, what kind of service is that? Anyways we now found out that many of the roof beams are rotten and had to replace them.</p> <p>What should I do now?</p> <p>Who can I claim from? </p>
