I tried to cancel my MTN contract in the beginning July 2024 after it had concluded its 24 months - however, their retention team (specifically Paul Mthembu) convinced me to take out another 24 months contract with an extremely good offer of 500 mins and 15 GBs. As an independent contractor, I rely heavily on my minutes for work!!! However, since the 12th of August (when I receive my minutes and data monthly) I have not received the minutes. I have called the call center multiple times and NOT ONE SINGLE AGENT HAS BEEN OF ANY ASSISTANCE. From being told I am a **** regarding the deal (which I have confirmed is a real offer from the retention team multiple times) to being told time and time again to just call back tomorrow when there should be an update. I have even had to file a new query with an agent this week (REQ000005314108) because they could not find the old query. I mean it when I say this but I truly detest MTN and regret my decision to take out a new contract. There is no bigger **** artist in South Africa, purporting to be a legitimate business. The only person who seemingly tried to help me was a gentleman from the retentions team Dylan Budhoo (whom I left a good review for) but he has seemingly gone quiet and no longer responds to my emails at all. Leaving a sour taste in my mouth considering the commendation I sent him to be shown to his manager... but I am not surprised in the end, it is the typical mentality of all the MTN employees I have dealt with, it must be the company culture.
Honestly one of the best pizza restaurants there is - the staff are great and the food is consistently awesome! We order from here so often the owner and delivery driver know us by name! They never disappoint and I will continue to support them for a long time to come.
Sanele was a great help in getting my issue resolved! I suggest that anyone who needs to contact Mondo, request him by name as he is knowledgeable about the products and extremely helpful. Any further assistance I require on the matter - he is my go to.
Terrible service has been 2 weeks since my initial request for an account reset - and after all the false promises nothing has even been done! And the best the phone operators can tell me is I have followed up on the request… What an utterly useless company that clearly has no need for new customers. If anyone can recommend a competitor please do so!!!
Used PayFast to pay for an online order. Their system took the money out of my account. Then, their e-commerce system proceeded to cancel my order with the merchant, with no consent from either myself or the merchant. The merchant has not received the funds, neither has it been refunded to my account. It is no longer a pending deduction on my account, so it won’t be reversed. Their customer service is pathetic. Clearly they lack the foresight and ability to allow their employees to work from home. I mean come on PayFast, after all we are in the 21st century. 14 days lead time on a customer query, is disgraceful. This is the 3rd time in just over a year and incident like this has happened to me. They need to sort their mistakes out fast.

<p>I am absolutely appalled by the service delivery of takealot this Christmas.</p> <p>I placed an order on the 5th of December, and when the order was placed it indicated that they had stock of all 3 of the items I ordered. </p> <p>The estimated delivery date was 7-15 working days.</p> <p>I received an email today indicating that in fact they lied and did not have stock of 2 of the items ordered and thus my ordered would be delayed by 3-5 working days.</p> <p>The problem is Christmas is in 5 days!!!</p> <p>And the items ordered are for a little girls Christmas present. Now here I sit faced with the fact that I will have to tell this little girl that her Christmas present is not here because of the ill management of stock on Takealot's side. </p> <p>I am now in such a predicament because of these lies from Takealot.</p> <p>And as a student I paid for the items in advance and I do not have more money to buy another present!!</p> <p>This was meant to be a special present for my little sister. But I guess it no longer will be!</p> <p>I am truly disgusted by the service of Takealot this Christmas, they have basically ruined it for this little girl.</p> <p> </p> <p>Thanks a lot Takealot, I'll be sure never to use you in the future again and thus never refer anyone to use your services.</p> <p> </p> <p>P.S.
