FORMAL COMPLAINT – FAILURE TO REVERSE UNAUTHORISED DEBIT ORDERS AND DENIAL OF DISPUTE RIGHTS I hereby lodge a formal complaint against FNB regarding the bank’s failure to reverse disputed debit orders, as well as its refusal to allow me to formally dispute or stop the debit order in question. Debit orders have been processed on my account in favour of Life After Debt for services that were not rendered. I have formally cancelled the agreement with the service provider and have demanded a refund due to non-performance. Despite this, debit orders continue to be processed, causing ongoing financial prejudice. I approached FNB to: Reverse the disputed debit orders, Dispute the debit order transactions, and Stop or block further debit orders from the same beneficiary. However, I was advised that the transactions could not be reversed and that I could not dispute or stop the debit order as requested. This position is unacceptable and contrary to my rights as a banking consumer. In terms of South African banking and consumer principles: A consumer has the right to dispute unauthorized, irregular, or disputed debit orders, particularly where services were not rendered. Banks are required to provide reasonable assistance to prevent ongoing financial harm once a dispute has been raised. Continuing to process debit orders after cancellation and formal dispute exposes the consumer to unjustified loss and potential legal consequences with creditors. As a result of FNB’s refusal to assist, I am suffering continued financial prejudice, including insufficient funds, increased creditor pressure, and the inability to protect my account from further unauthorized deductions. I hereby formally request that FNB: Immediately stop and block all current and future debit orders in favour of Life After Debt. Allow the disputed debit orders to be formally logged and investigated. Reverse all debit orders processed after cancellation and dispute were communicated. Provide written reasons should FNB maintain its refusal to assist. Should this matter not be resolved urgently, I will escalate the complaint to the Banking Ombudsman, the Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA), and any other relevant regulatory authority. Please treat this complaint as urgent.
I am a loyal client of LA Debt, but I cannot say the same about them. It's been almost 7 months since I app**** and pay for a relive. Till date I have not received any distributions or any feedback with regards to my case. I am harassed by my creditors for "ongoing unpaid" debt. This means nothing was done for me. I am trying to get in contact with LA Debt but they just don't answer their phone or their business whatss app number. I have lodged a complaint at the NCCR for no service rendered and demanding a refund of all monies paid to them. I also cannot stop the debit order as there is no feedback. My bank cannot stop the Debit order. Where are my rights in this? You were supposed to protect me and not damage me further!
I keep getting new ref for my calls and still not getting anyware. Member no: 47002765784 Im helping my mother who is a widdow and pensioner with a claim on her dentures where she paid +- R7500 cash after the lady at the dentist told her Boncap isnt paying. Boncap send a new auth on the 22/10 with the amount that is approved - 738137 I phoned boncap and ask why they dont pay not even a R1 on the dentures on 30/10, I had to resubmit the claim with ref 301024OKX49R, but no feed back. I phoned again (dont have the ref) it was a dead end and starting from scratch. The lady submit the claim again But no payment. I phoned again on 12/12 with ref 5403919, saying the payment will be made the Synday. We are now 3 weeks later, i have phoned again yesterday but its a dead end again and no one can help me. What must i do to get the correct person who gelp me correctly in the 1st place??? Its my airtime that im waisting for every call 1 hour but dead end. Amanda 0723707476

I have an wifi / LTE contract with Vodacom , the contract was approaching the end of term , were i requested to terminated the contract , its been 4 months now , that the contract is expired , but still every month the monies gets deducted for the contract.I phoned vodacom countless times to request the cancellation of this contract and every time Vodacom says that the contract will be cancelled end of the month.But come end of the month the contract is still active!!What is so difficult to follow instructions?I wish for the contract to be cancelled , no i don't want to upgrade the contract or extend it , please just cancel the contract as instructed!!!!!!!!!!!!
I applied for student funding last year 27 September 2017 , yet even now when I am writing exams in two weeks, have I not heard anything from NSFAS.I applied for funding for a reason , my salary hardly covers everything no I need to pay my study fees as well. My status for the last 3 months is stuck on verifying income. How long do you need to verify my income?
<p>I am trying to apply for admission to study through Unisa ,</p> <p><br />Firstly when I applied the application process takes me straight to the upload documents screen , the system does not allow me to amend my application.<br />I applied in the first semester but was declined , Unisa did not even let me know.I contacted them for 2 months before i was told i was unsuccessful. Where to start, as my previous report you cancelled my medical aid in December and then went ahead and roll back all the payments for December. Really? Tell me something Medihelp? What happened to my membership fee I paid for December?You rolled back all the payments even after I paid for the month of December?Stealing your members money are we?My goodness what ever did I think to join you medihelp???I hope you guys are working tirelessly on my monthly premium refund for December considering that you did not keep to our contract!!!What I waste of an excuse of a medical aid , no wonder Discovery Health has a bigger client base than you misfits!!!!
I had a medical aid with Medihelp, but Medihelp cancelled my membership last year. Now medihelp is reversing all the payments they made to the practitioners.Why are they allowed to cancel the payments?<br> Firstly I paid Medihelp inturn they paid the practitioners, how can you reverse the payments?
Medihelp you are a absolute waste of a Medical Aid!!I was covered from September 2015 and I was diagnosed with gastric ulcer in August 2015 before joining the medical aid , which I did not disclose because I was taking medication and was under the impression that the problem was sorted out! But after many recent doctor appointment's it was concluded that I was diagnosed incorrectly , I have gall stones as well as I need to remove my gall bladder , which according to me is completely different from gastric ulcer.I need to go for treatment as soon as possible but Medihelp informed today that they do not intend to pay for the treatment and my membership would be cancelled as soon as possible. This meaning Medihelp does not feel like giving the care they proposed in there contract? Thank you very much Medihelp for the worse customer service to a paying member , and a big thank you to you Annzelle Daries Senior Officer for Non-disclosure Investigation for giving me a valid and legal reason for my membership termination.
