There should be a zero star option for Vodacom. Their data provision is so unstable it makes it almost useless. Vodacom sells contracts that they can't and don't fulfil but won't allow free cancellation...
Whenever I complain about FNB people say the banks are all equally useless. I can't believe all banks can be as useless as FNB nowadays. They have NO decent service, from untrained secure chat people to the same on the end of a telephone line. Personal bankers are a joke and calling it a service "suite" makes it sound grand when nothing about their service deserves a fancy title. And this bad service is not reserved for private clients only, business banking is worse!
It is a pity one can't allocate no stars because Vodacom is so bad it doesn't even deserve one star. The data in Smithfield Free State is unusable because the service is so patchy and down more than it is usable. People have been complaining for months and the situation has shown no improvement. They charge me for data that I can't use because their service is out of order.
I have never had as many issues with a gate motor as I do with my Centurion D5Evo. It is constantly playing up despite being fitted by an expert. I even fitted a surge protector to remove that as an excuse for causing a fault due to loadshedding and still the PC board has issues. I have had to take the board in for replacement and/or repair five times on a brand new motor. LIke clockwork every six months the motor stops working. Each time a different component on the PC board is blamed. These motors by definition stand outside in the weather, why all the issues?
Let's see if a poor Hello Peter review wakes Mweb up and they contact me. Their customer service is not poor it is non-existent. Leaving messages is a waste of time. Trying to phone is pointless. Their service used to be good, I wonder what happened. Go on Mweb, surprise me and make an effort.
Aramex outsources parcels to "third party" agents for delivery in outlying areas. Once the parcel leaves their building it seems they have no idea what happens to the parcel. This is not good enough in 2022 and an international company. No QC at all!
I have tried for three months to get hold of someone in ABSA to help reset banking details for someone in the USA. They can't phone SA and hold on for ages on an international call but nobody inside the bank seems to care.
I wonder on what basis Vodacom is entitled to charge R100.88 for a declined debit order which itself is only R329. It would seem totally out of line. Where in the contract is the penalty mentioned and quantified? As usual Vodacom is fleecing customers. It is a behemoth with archaic customer care facilities. Please justify the charge. I have subsequently changed payment option to direct cash payment, but I wonder how many people don't have the liberty to do this and get charged monthly iniquitously large sums of money. Does the quantum comply with the Consumer Protection Act?
An agent phones me to UPgrade my data package and I end up with a package with half the data for the same money. Now I am told there is nothing they can do about it as the router is out of the 14 day return period. Who in their right mind would UPgrade to DOWNgrade? Nobody! Trying to deal with Vodacom is impossible as each entity defers to another and the external sales folks just refer me back to Vodacom Direct for which there is no selection option on the 082 135 menu.
RAM couriers' tracking function is not working just at a time when courier services are vital. Their online chat is also on but not responding. How can a courier company get away with such poor customer service. Bring in more staff if necessary but don't ignore the basics.
