Good day. I coincidentally came across the advert on Facebook. With not much thought, that to me was a trading and investment opportunity for not so much amount, $19.99 for a start. During subscription process I could not be allowed to ‘skip’ the AI Mentor add-on of $39.00. I went ahead to complete my subscription. Going through the content even on the app, I realized that I was offered a training which I do not need. I had read much about trading but never traded before. I am currently enticed by Bot trading. The problem is that I currently can’t come up with capital of between $250.00 and $500.00. I then cancelled the subscription within an hour. However, I am denied a refund due to some two clauses. I do admit that I went on to use the platform and that the provision is available until 1 November 2024. My request is to be refunded $39.00 of AI Mentor which is an add-on because I hadn’t utilized it, and it can be proven that I did not. We had a to and fro communication but to no avail. My refund request is not for the reasons stated hereunder: Personal reasons (you don’t like the product, it did not meet your expectations, etc.); Financial reasons (you did not expect that you will be charged, that the trial will be converted into the subscription, that the subscription will automatically renew, or that the services are paid, etc.). The $39.00 is not an ongoing subscription that deducts every month. It is a separate offer. This is why I believe that it should be refunded. I followed this guideline to cancel: If you purchased a subscription or enabled trial on our website: You can cancel a trial or subscription by clicking the “Unsubscribe” button in your account before the end of the trial or then-current subscription or by contacting our support through the Support Center. As you can see, I cancelled subscription, a monthly premium. The once off AI Mentor should be refunded.
Good day I trust that you are fine. First and foremost, I would like to state that I didn’t get any satisfaction from DebtBusters with regard to African Bank matter. I will restate my enquiry. As reflected from Hyphen PDA statements, African Bank balance got decreased up to R0.00 in their August and September 2023 statements, meaning that that account was settled with July 2023 payment (Those statements are attached). While still excited with that, the balance resurfaced in October 2023 as R10 555.44. I inquired about it from both parties and Debt Busters told me about amortization. My question is how did African Bank, or Debt Busters , get that wrong? My immediate suspicion was that there is something fishy. Either there is a collaboration between the two parties to have me *****ed. The question would probably be that what do I want. I want a clear explanation of how and from where did R10 555.44 come. Obviously, I am not at fault as DebtBusters to date is the first to have their premium debited from my account every 20th. Therefore, either tis R10555.44 gets written off and have and have my payments from November 2023 to March 2024, about R6304,45, be refunded in a form of channeling that amount to Absa Vehicle Finance which is still outstanding for amount of R15709,32. Good day I signed up with Credit Rescue in 2021 with a prospect of terminating the services of a current debt review company. I then realised that that was not to be. I then called to cancel the arrangement, and followed up by a cancellation letter. The agreement was terminated. Out of nowhere, last December there was a debit order from Credit Rescue, which I did not recognize. It is only on 20/01/2023 that I realised this debit order. I then contacted Credit Rescue via whatsapp and telephone to have the debit order reversed. I was requested to email my cancellation request sent previously. I complied and was promised that that amount will be credited into my account. To date, that hasn't happened. I also requested to be provided, in details, via email which creditors were paid with R1800.00 debited last December. To date, nothing. If there is no such record, I also request that money debited in December last year be credited into my account as well. After my first review, AVBOB cancelled my policies. However, I was not refunded the whole amount. It is still looked into, till today.
I took funeral cover with AVBOB. Because I could not include my aged parents, I was advised to take investment policies for each. In second month I received documents, and discovered a funeral cover that would include my parents despite their age. I then called AVBOB to cancel both funeral cover and investment polices. I read out to consultant helping me clause saying that if I cancel policy within 30 days after I have received the documents, I am entitled for a refund. He confirmed "yes". He then advised that I email cancellation request. I received documents on 18/10/2021 and cancelled all policies on 22/11/2021. Some time last week I called to check on progress. Funeral cover has been cancelled and debit order removed from investment policies for them to lapse for receiving no payment. If the 30 days clause is true, will I get my refund? I also request communication in this regard.
I was approached last month to be assisted with removing my name from blacklisting if I terminate my debt review with Debt Busters. Michelle informed me that I only need to write email to Debt Busters to cancel contract with them. I did so. However, it will be a process for contract to be terminated. I then informed Michelle via whatsapp to terminate telephonic agreement we have until I am done with Debt Busters. That didn't happen. Again this month an agreed amount was deducted. I then explained again that I cannot afford to have two debit orders for same purpose going through. I requested Credit Rescue to cancel relationship and to refund my money. The email address as well as contacts provided do not go through. Please assist by having Credit Rescue refund my money, R1800, back to my account.
