I have ordered twice from the Avo store and can honestly say I have had no issues. I tried using their chat but someone only rep**** 3 days later. This was not an issue though as 3 days is good enough for me. Packages arrived without an issues. Will order from them again
Takealot used to be awesome. The premium online shopping site. I have found with my last orders, they do not compare anymore with other online options. I specifically buy items that are "in stock", yet orders still sit under "not yet shipped" 4 days later. I am moving my online shopping to the competitor.
Vuse online shopping. I placed an order for some Epods on their online store. This was 8 days ago. The order still states "processing". Their shipping ETAs states shipping out on the same day... Yet it is still being processed. The online chat is now always unavailable and they do not respond to emails. I spoke to them 5 days ago and they stated that it would be sent out that day. No support since then.
The company is based in Howick Midlands and focusses on density instead of distance. It is nice to know that the technicians you speak to over the phone are the same ones that are at an office locally. Call's are always quickly answered or returned day or night. I very rarely have had any down time with them as the own and constantly maintain their own wireless network. Speeds are always there and a 2 minute phone call usually sorts out any issue.
Okay I am now past frustrated. I received an sms to state that my package has been delivered. I then checked the website and indeed it states it has been delivered. The problem is that I have no parcel. I immediately contacted their live chat as I work in an office and can't be stuck on a call. I am still waiting 30 minutes later for someone to reply on my "live" chat"
Sasol Branch in Merrivale I went to Sasol to fill up on fuel. The attendant then told me I need one pint of oil. I then said that this is not an issue and he must use the best they have. I then left Howick and drove down to Pietermaritzburg. I stopped in Howick again and when I tried to start the car again, the car refused to start. Called out a mechanic to find that the attendant as Sasol did not place the dipstick into the oil pipe but next to the pipe in between the manifold. The mechanic as well as an independent source from Sasol states that the oil loss was due to the oil being pushed out through this open pipe, in the process, my engine ran dry and caused the engine to sieze. The car has been standing since the incident. Sasol Merrivale has stated that it is not their issue. It was then escalated to Sasol HQ who have done their own investigation and have asked Sasol Merrivale to contact me regarding a solution. Sasol Merrivale submitted a request to their insurance with incorrect information and when their insurance rejected their claim, they are now not willing to do anything further. Sasol Merrivale has send information to their insurance, WHICH WAS COMPLETELY INCORRECT. At the start, when the owner refuse to take responsibility, he refuted responsibility from things his attendant told him. THIS WAS THEN DISCUSSED, CORRECTED, CONFIRMED BY A MECHANIC and the case went further. Sasol Merrivale then sent the original information, from the petrol attendant, to his insurance. Which now somehow was even more exaggerated. Obviously causing the insurance to refuse the claim. Regardless of how Sasol Merrivale wants to portray information to their insurance. I still need a resolve as their information that was sent on was misleading and incorrect. An assessor was eventually sent out. The assessor stated that the time period of 6 months was ridiculous and if it was him, he would have been out the next day as all the samples are now too old to check and test. I tried multiple times after that to get info from Sasol but they never got back to me besides they will make contact once they get the assessor report. This was now more than 3 months ago.
Okay. Now I am getting frustrated. I have been keeping my cool through lots of whatsapp messages, emails and phone calls. 3 Issues I purchased a vehicle from Webuycars and was charged R18 000 on repairs. I drove the vehicle home to KZN and had several issues which I mentioned to the sales agent. Some of these issues include the issues that were supposed to be fixed THAT I ALREADY PAID FOR. I took the vehicle to an RMI certified workshop like the sales agent asked me to. They gave me a quote and told me that the vehicle should not be driven with the issues. I sent the quote through to the sales agent who told me that they can't help at their branch and I need to open a complaint on their website which I have done. It has been a week and I have not had any response at all. The vehicle is standing here and I purchased it as I needed the 7 seater for the December holidays. I also paid Webuycars for the service but according to the vehicles service book, nothing was filled in. I also have not heard anything about the licensing or documents promised by the branch. It has been over a week and no documents have been made available to me. I also added an additional R5000 on my Webuycars account to hold the car initially. I paid a separate deposit when I got the vehicle and was told by the dealership that the R5000 is not part of that deposit and the R5000 will be refunded. I contacted webuycars via email with the relevant information regarding the refund and I was told to submit it online. The online option is not available so I cantacted them again and they said they have processed the refund and can take up to 72 hours to reflect in my account. I can see that nothing has happened and the deposit amount is still on my webuycars account. When I try and call, I get asked who I dealt with and they then put me through to "that person". Whomever they put me through to, does not answer the phone and I am on hold forever until I hang up. Instead of someone helping me, they just shift the call off to whomever first dealt with the email. I purchased a car that has issues (that should have been picked up during the Dekra report and that would not get the car through COR) including issues THAT I ALREADY PAID TO HAVE FIXED I have not received any documents that allow me to get a license disc. I am being passed around and ignored regarding my refundable deposit as well as the issues with the vehicle. Please get back to me asap as I have been very patient up to this point.
Wanted a vehicle that I struggled to find. Jason Harding managed to get me the perfect vehicle at WeBuyCars Germiston. He was efficient, honest and friendly. When I return. I would like to deal with him again. Thank you so much.
I needed a bearing which I could not find anywhere as it is very rare. I eventually managed to get one from America. After a month it never arrived. I contacted Bearingsonlinesa and they managed to source the bearing for me AND IT WAS DELIVERED TO ME WITHING 24 HOURS! Thank you guys so much

My mechanic as well as an independent source from Sasol states that the oil loss was due to the oil being pushed out through this open pipe, in the process, my engine ran dry and caused an unknown amount of damage (have only inspected what the mechanic can without removing the engine. The bearings ran dry and spun and the car has been standing for over a month. Sasol Merrivale has stated that it is not their issue. It was then escalated to Sasol HQ who have done their own investigation and have asked Sasol Merrivale to contact me regarding a solution. Sasol Merrivale have not yet tried to make contact in any way even with the recommendations given them by Sasol HQ regardless of the evidence given. A pint of oil costs me my vehicle and it seems like there is no business or moral obligation to contact me with some sort of way forward. ENTER SASOL MERRIVALE at your own risk. Please remember the value of your car and that this can be thrown down the drain by a franchise who decides what to do in their own discretion. I have given this information back to Sasol HQ who seems to be the only ones who is taking this seriously.
