While the service and food are excellent, the recent price increases feel like daylight *******. I want to bring this to the attention of the owners and fellow South Africans: this marks the third price hike this year. As consumers, we should reconsider supporting businesses that inflate prices unreasonably for profit.
Just ported to MTN network a week ago and I am spammed by USSD notifications from MTN. I would be in the middle of something important on my phone and this would pop up and interrupt. I've selected opt out numerous times and still receive this. If anyone else is experiencing this it might be in MTN's interest to stop this or in our best interest to port to a network that does not send spam.

I am writing to address a persisting issue with my RCT 1000 inverter, and I am deeply dissatisfied with the service provided. Earlier this year, I encountered problems with the inverters battery not lasting more than an hour and, upon its return from servicing, I discovered new scratches and dents that were not present before. Getting assistance was a struggle, and despite sending photos, my concerns were ignored for over a week. The replacement cover I received was "second hand" and still slightly damaged, and the delay in service meant I got the inverter back past its warranty date. Recently, the same battery issue resurfaced after just a month when I got to test it. I requested a credit due to the lack of confidence in its reliability, only to be unexpectedly charged R3000 for repairs. I firmly contested this charge as the initial problem remained unresolved. However, my attempts to follow up have gone unanswered for over a week. This entire experience has left me questioning the integrity of the warranty and the product's reliability. Does the replacement battery only last a month? I am troubled by this and feel that the warranty provided is deceptive. Also the fact that the supplier mentioned that I replace the battery with a Lithium battery when it's not compatible makes me question the integrity of the repair partner. I have a list of questions which I need answers on. as well as a full refund as this unit does not work as advertised. My main concern stems from the disparity in longevity between the initial battery and its replacement. When I first acquired the inverter, the battery lasted a commendable 6 months. However, after the replacement of the battery, its functionality drastically declined, lasting only 1 month. Additionally, considering that the new gel battery was replaced due to issues within a short period, I would expect it to be covered under warranty. Given that the inverter cover is also encompassed within the warranty terms, wouldn't it be reasonable to expect a replacement with a new cover instead of a second-hand one?
I signed up for a black Friday data plan online and wanted to know when it will be activated on my number. It's been over 2 weeks since I've contacted all lines of communication for assistance. Call center, Social media, Customer care and complaints email. Up until now I have sent countless follow up emails and no one bothers to respond to me.
My domain was transferred to another service provider and for 2 years Afrihost continuously billed me for a service that did not exist on the basis that "I did not cancel it". I requested a refund for the non-existent service - The response I received was "The amount is, unfortunately, not refundable as you never cancelled with us" To anyone else who might have a similar issue do not put up **** like this.
