I must express my deep dissatisfaction with the service provided by Takealot thus far. My recent experience has left me thoroughly disappointed and inconvenienced. To begin with, there was a significant oversight in the processing of my order. The shoes delivered were not the correct size that I had meticulously selected and ordered. This mistake alone was aggravating, especially since I had paid for next-day delivery, which came at an additional cost. It's unacceptable that such a basic error could occur, especially considering the premium service I had opted for. However, what truly exacerbated the situation was the response from Takealot's customer service team when I reached out to rectify the error. I was informed that the correct size I originally ordered is not available in stock. This revelation is deeply troubling and highlights a severe lack of inventory management and accuracy on Takealot's platform. How can a company of your stature not have proper checks in place to ensure accurate stock levels and fulfill orders correctly? What's even more frustrating is the contradictory information provided. If the correct size is indeed out of stock, how was it possible for Takealot to send me a pair of shoes in a size different from what I ordered? This discrepancy calls into question the reliability of the information provided on your website and undermines the trust that customers place in your brand. Moreover, I paid extra for expedited shipping under the assumption that I would receive the correct product promptly. However, this investment has proven to be futile due to the inaccuracies in your product listings and inventory management systems. It's unacceptable to charge customers for premium services and then fail to deliver on those promises. While I understand that mistakes can happen, it is essential for a reputable company like Takealot to ensure the accuracy of product information and availability. Customers rely on this information to make informed purchasing decisions, and such oversights reflect poorly on your brand. I contacted support and I requested a thorough examination to determine whether the size advertised aligns with the actual product received. Additionally, I implore them to conduct a comprehensive investigation to ascertain whether the correct size I ordered is actually available in your inventory for immediate dispatch. To which they rep**** I was credited.... Mere compensation would not suffice; what is needed is a systemic change to prevent such errors from occurring in the future. Given this experience, I am inclined to explore other e-commerce options that prioritize customer satisfaction and are willing to go the extra mile to ensure that errors are rectified promptly. Companies like Amazon, for instance, have set a high standard in this regard, and perhaps it is time for me to consider investing my money elsewhere. I hope that this feedback serves as an opportunity for Takealot to reflect on its customer service practices and make the necessary improvements to better meet the needs of its customers.

I was upgraded to 1Gbps fibre connection and on 21 April 2023 they installed a Nokia Beacon 2 router to support this connection speed. On 22 April 2023 I raised my first ticket in regards with my internet speed. I was getting between 193Mbps and 377Mbps. This ticket was subsequently closed on 9 May 2023 without any resolution. I raised another ticket on 29 June 2023 to address the same issue. Once again, this ticket was closed without any communication or resolution on 2 July 2023. On 20 July 2023 I raised the third ticket, and this ticket was once again closed without any resolution or communication to me on 25 July. I raised yet another ticket on 25 July 2023 with the exact same issues and this is still open with a whole bunch of sub tickets that have been closed, again without any resolution or communication. It is a constant struggle to get them to resolve the issue and since April 2023 I have been paying for a connection I am not even closely getting. Their customer service is non existing, and I have to initiate communication 99% of the time to get any sort of response.

The experience with Hohm Energy was GREAT, BUT the MFC side of things is where things can get a bit rocky. The Hohm Energy interactions were all positive, full of energy and pleasant. It is VERY unfortunate that MFC seems to bring negativity into the experience with all their red tape and makes the process rocky.
I must say that it has been very disappointing dealing with Hohm Energy. At first, the service was great, but as soon as it was discovered I am not the registered owner of the home things took a quick turn. First, I was not made aware, nor does it appear anywhere reasonable that a large (50%) deposit that would be required for non-owners. This defeats the purpose of getting a loan and we all know a personal loan is just a ******* so it's not an option to do a personal loan for that 50%. But after speaking on the phone and explaining that my father in-law is the owner, I was advised that there is a form I could complete to waver this and that is where things just went quiet. From this point forward no one has bothered to respond to my communications. Seems that if Hohm Energy cannot make quick business/money with you they rather ghost you instead. It’s a great shame as Hohm Energy provides the best opportunity for people that do not have a home loan the ability to still afford solar solutions.
I joined the Starbucks Reward program and had some difficulties so I contacted the Starbucks Support and within 5 minutes I received a response, not an automated response, and within 15 minutes the issue was resolved. Their support is quick and efficient. not often you get service like this.
