My insurance policy went up to the point where I had decided it was unaffordable, and I looked to cancel and move to something more affordable, like many in these times. Rameez Amanjee called me and was incredibly helpful, providing important information and reducing the rate to something I can manage. He is truly the reason I am staying with Momentum.
I have had an issue for the past 4 weeks now with zoom sessions and internet buffering on a 250meg line and have just been told that the issue is the devices connected via lan cable are causing the internet drops, not the fact that zoom is mostly upload of audio and video and my upload speeds are unstable mostly running under 10mbs, consistently up and down. Not only did you want to charge me to come out, you didn’t bother to resolve the issue, just blaming my network setup. Backhauling routers to extend my WiFi have nothing to do with the internet stability, especially when my laptop is 2 steps from your router. This has always been my setup, with no issues previously - explain that one! I have requested cancellation within your T’s and C’s 4 times now and still no confirmation. Please get your team to confirm my last month is September so I can move to a company who has already identified the issue without even coming on site - just by my description - Funny hey! Note to all, don’t even bother, if there is no other fibre provider in your area, go with lte.

The ordering process was very straightforward and the goods purchased were exactly as described. Really happy with snatcher and would recommend them as a first time buyer.
If I could I would give them 0 stars! I never knew there was someone more useless than telkom, well surprise, they have won the worst customer service award! Congratulations metrofibre! I am in customer service and if I treated paying customers as you have, I would be jobless - thankfully your standards are low! 4 days + 6 hours without internet, 8 hours to get a response with no ETA on restoration, countless emails and calls only to be told we are confirming with maintenance! I have paid for this month already and now spending hundreds of rands on data because you are incapable of resolving the issue or even providing an ETA on restoration. And after all of this, once you finally grace me with restoration, what happens? Nothing, you carry on like nothing happened, no refund, no accountability - ZERO!!! Clearly you have enough money not to give a damn about one customer - absolutely shocking. Signed a disgruntled metrofibre customer - soon to be anyone else’s who gives a damn!
From online order to delivery it was an absolutely pleasure. Communication was on point and delivery on time! Super happy with the service and would recommend them 100percent!
If I could give you ZERO stars I would, your online store stated you has stock of an item in both Springfield and Amanzimtoti branches, a week later after I processed the order I received a call stating that there wasn't any stock in KZN and due to lockdown regulations you couldn't supply one from another province. I said its fine please refund me. 5 days down the line, still no refund so I have called and emailed you. Only to be told I have to jump through hoops to get the money back and that it would take 7-14 working days for a refund??? Was my payment instant or did I tell you nah wait 7-14 working days for it? I DID NOT CANCEL THE ORDER SO WHY DO I HAVE TO BEG FOR MY MONEY BACK MAKRO???
Incredible service, even amid lockdown. Brendan and Richard responded to questions fast and professionally, the advice was on point and the delivery next day once payment received! I honestly would recommend to all out there! Thanks, guys, you're fantastic!
If there was a minus 50, I’d be sure to use it! Here’s a short reason why... I canceled my ADSL line after over 8 months of not being able to use it cause I moved (all of which I was happy to pay for). Their slick team convinced me to take the WiFi package instead, said I wouldn’t be charged for the ADSL, low and behold that was a lie. Spoke to 5 different people only to be told my cancellation request had been cancelled. Got the WiFi delivered first week in March, was told I would be billed at the end of April. I received my bill, next day I received an sms stating I was over due and would be reported to the credit bureau for non payment. Oh next day I receive and sms saying I’ve been suspended. The invoice is only due end of April, it’s the 9th. If anyone would like the proof, I’m happy to share as I have done with reporting this to ICASA. Telkom you are the reason why we need the consumer protection act and if you think I’ll be paying for anything after the 8th April, you are sadly mistaken! Disgusting service!!!!
