We have spent a lot of money with this supplier and have had hiccups with incorrect orders been sent and having to face customers with a red face due to very slow delivery times (also blaming courier guy for slow orders). We also received quote for 2x 8kw inverters that could parallel as we needed the 16 kw. We had quoted customer and emailed proton again to confirm. We paid for order then were told inverters are standalone only and point blank would not honour quotation . We then had to buy 3 other inverters at an extra R10000. We installed 2 and later the third due to stock. We purchased a cool energy 5,5 kw inverter and installed the very next day. Inverter did not work and was returned the the next working day. We were then told that we blew the inverter by connecting parallel cables and battery cable to existing 2 inverters that are working. When I got a bit firm about it I was told by Christa and Nicky (whom are both compulsive liars ) that I am not qualified to install. I am a red seal Sparky that qualified in 1998. When I asked to to speak to Johan Du Plessis (owner and of 2 other companies) was told that he don't speak to customers (cowardly move). I now see this company is in fact only a small middle man who in turn carries no responsibility for the products they sell. I would advice to rather shop else where as even regular customers are just swept under the rug. Naturally I have all email and watts up proof that has been handed over for legal action.

Phone guy to ask for official quote for item being advertised on gumtree (6kw devel inverter for 9995.00) he then says I must wattsup him so I did then sends price for 14000. I asked why I the price difference so he says those are sold out yet add posted same day as my request then sends me picture of another for 11000 but on add it’s 8995 so I phone him and his reply was whites must pay more . Now I get nasty watts up messages saying we are thieves and fools. What a professional company.

I cancelled my dstv account and paid the outstanding balance of 300 odd now there is another amount of seven hundred for holiday decoder which I phone dstv to query. I did use the holiday decoder for two days and asked the person that assisted in activating the decoder to disconnect it two days later. I phoned in for the voice recording twice and dstv is yet to reply. Now they have this vericredit harassing me about it. I told them I don’t owe them but they are extremely rude putting the phone down in my ear almost every time. Really disgusted
Good day <br> <br> this is to warn all the little companies that are about to work for Basil Reed. A credit app was filled out by Basil Reed saying that they pay 30 days. well we still waiting for that payment, in fact none of there payments have been on time. We managed to find out who was responsible for our account, Uys Mdluli. Firstly he does not respond to emails and when you phone him he says payment happening today, well surprise surprise , no payment. I think its terrible and I think Uys who is the accounts clerk does not know how to do his job. Its bad that a company like that wants fast service but pay very badly.
I purchase a 6 kw inverter (R16000.00) , after two weeks of doing payment and a trip to cop station the inverter was sent down. second hand unit , I installed anyway only to find charger was not working. I sent it back and was then told I installed it incorrectly and that it had no warranty. I have done more than 40 installations and not one fault, and it is impossible to blow up charger unit and not complete unit. I am now told that they will not sort it out so I have gone legal route and have had to resort to methods like this to warn others out there. There are a lot of honest suppliers out there just a pity I got the wrong one. Now that legal route is on we are getting stupid offers. Think somebody needs to read the CPA.
We ordered a 6kw inverter for the amount of R16000.00, they told us that the money must reflect in their account which took longer than normal , then they were shipping the parcel down sent us tracking no which does not exist, courier company says they don't even have an account there , we requested waybill and no one there seems to know what a waybill is. I think it is a disgrace and the staff there are very unprofessional, we have been promised a full refund on Monday but will see as he is adamant that the parcel was sent. we will be opening a case of fraud on Monday as we have all the email evidence if the money does not reflect Monday morning.
