I booked this place through airbnb. The place they put me in is completely unsafe. They described it as an apartment but its a shop in a shopping centre converted to a room. I'm a female travelling alone and I feel vulnerable to all sorts of dangers. Anyone can see through my windows from the passage when they walk pass. Airbnb has been trying to get hold of the company since I checked in. I have requested that you give me alternative accommodation as the refund will take 7 to 10 days to reflect. They refused to respond to them. I could not sleep last night as people can see through the windows when they walk passed. This is not what you put in your listing description. They refused to sort out my issue because I'm a black person. Thus is daylight *******

I hired a vehicle for 6days and returned it 16days ago and to date, I still have not received my holding deposit. This is the second time this year this is happening to me. When I call the Bryanston branch, I am told it takes 7 to days for a refund. ITS BEEN 16DAYS. Other car hire companies hold your credit card and you still are able to access the funds as soon as you rerun the vehicle. Why is this company so different.
I rented a vehicle from the Bryanston branch on the 29th July and returned 4th August. To date I have received my holding deposit back. I have called the branch and sent emails until I'm blue in the face. I was told Charney from head office who is responsible for releasing funds would call me. To date I'm still waiting. I sooo angry at this company. Please don't use them. They don't pay back deposits.
My money was taken out of my business account online. I called Tymebank and they are telling me that they can only stop them card but cannot reverse the amount. This is the 3rd time this month that Tymebank has been associated with high ***** cases. They claim their ***** department but no one does anything. Other banks would never allow online purchases without OTP. How was my money taken out without my authorisation.
I am highly frustrated with Netcare Unitas Hospital. Please do not take your loved ones there. My mother was admitted into the hospital July 2023 after a spinal injury. We took her to Olivedale Netcare and we were told that she needs to be at her network branch so we were told we need to take her to Unitas. We arrived at the hospital and she was seen in the emergency by the attending doctors. The receptionist told us that the emergency fees will be at our cost, which we agreed and signed accordingly. The doctors recommended that she needs to be admitted as her spinal disk had shifted and she needs the surgery. She is on a medical aid and we were told that the medical aid will cover the cost. No other communication was given to us regarding the admission or/and authorisation. Dr Azah was her attending doctor as we were told. I went to his office to speak to him about progress and he told us that he is awaiting surgery authorisation from the medical aid. After 2 weeks, the medical aid had still not given authorisation because of the plan she was on. We were in this period very frustrated with the hospital and the medical aid as we had no clue what was going on while she laid in hospital. We had to keep calling both to get an update. After the 2 weeks, we decided that she needs to be discharged as there was not progress. 6 months later, my mother started receiving threatening letters from the accounts department from Netcare Unitas Hospital demanding a payment of R56000 for her hospital stay. When she enquired, she was told that the medical aid authorisation was pending as she was in hospital. The medical aid and the doctor and the hospital were all in communication and not once were we told that the medical aid has not approved her stay. The hospital has issued out summonds to my mother who is in her 60's and on pension. And have also attached my name and ID on the summonds because my information was on the emergency treatment bill (which I did acknowledge to pay as I understand the rules there). Dr Azah has also sent my mother his own separate bill for his treatment. So all in all, this is amounting to R100 000 with radiology included. I want to know why would a hospital keep a patient for 2 weeks without authorisation and why were we never informed about this. I am forwarding my case to the HPCSA for intervention on this case. Please be carefull when dealing with Netcare. They do not care about patient wellfare.

My mother has been laying in hospital for the last 2 weeks after she collapsed and could not walk. She was rushed to hospital with an ambulance. Her doctor ordered her to go for a surgical spine lumber fusion operation as her vertebrae has dislocated. After 2 years of being on Fedhealth with no issues. We are totally disgusted by this company. They have given us the run around and decline for her to have the operation. She is in excruciating pain, we do not have a solution outside of the operation. They advised us to change to a higher plan for them to cover the op. We did just that and they have now come back and refuse for us to change the plan. Their reasons: you can change plans during the year. Basically they told us to take our mother home and see what we do with her. With not even the courtesy to give is a call or a letter of alternatives. NO ONE MUST EVER TRUST THIS COMPANY. THEY WILL NOT COVER ANY OF YOUR MAJOR EMERGENCIES
I made a travel booking online 3 days ago. The money has gone off my card and yet I have not received my booking confirmation. I have been emailing and calling the travelstart call centre for days now and no one can assist me. I've been sent from pillar to post. Was told that I should make another booking and the funds would be transferred. Now I am receiving emails from them asking me which account number the funds where paid to. How am I to know that if it was an online card purchase. My money is gone, no one to help me and getting no solution from travelstart.com. I regret booking with this company and I need my money back urgently
