(29/03/2019) me and my husband had a pre-scheduled appointment for the final inspection for the new place we were planning on starting to move in the next day (30/03/2019) to Deo Agathos, Unit 116. There were no words to explain the anger and, even more so, the extreme disappointment we felt when we walked into the yard to see that nothing has been done to make the place livable in any sense. We had previously found out when seeing the place for the first time (05/03/2019), that the unit hasn't been occupied for +/- 8 months. Apart from all the other issues that the apartment had picked up over this long time of not being occupied and receiving any form of maintenance, the unit was crawling with spiders, dead ****roaches, a hornet's nest and even mango flies in the yard. The yard itself was overgrown with bushes, ****s and tree branches covering the entire yard. We were fine with this, as we agreed that the place would be fixed up, made ready and livable by the weekend before 01/04/2019 to give us convenient time for the move. So 24 days passed and on the day of the final inspection, not a single thing had been done. The place is unlivable, hazardous and plainly disgusting in the condition it was and still is in. No person can be expected to be fine with the situation we are put in at this stage. We rushed and used our own leave days to organise and plan everything to be ready for the move on 30/03/2019. We took out a data contract on the unit, organised delivery for appliances and even organised our usual domestic to come in early in the morning to make sure the place is clean and help with the cleaning as we move in. This situation and conditions are unacceptable! There is in no way possible that the apartment and yard will be made safe and livable by 01/04/2019 when our contract starts and therefore this alone is a breach of the contract agreement. Not even to mention the cancellation fees of the newly taken out data contract on the unit, cancellation fees of delivery of appliances, storage fees for the new appliances, compensation for the domestic workers traveling and labor fees, expenses for unexpected living arrangements that need to be made. We requested a full refund because if this is the type of service we receive before we move in we do not want to continue with this sort of company. The companies response was that we are welcome to give notice however we would still be liable for the months rent, we have not even taken up residence yet!!!! They are not willing to even fix the mistake THEY have made, they only shrug their shoulders and say that they are awaiting approval. We were supposed to move in on the 1st of April 2019 and we are still waiting. No compensation proposal have even been made from them, we paid in FULL (Deposit and first months rent). They are in breach of contract and refuses to back our money.
The new Nandos next to kolonnade looks great and staff are all friendly. We got there and was helped immediately with a friendly smile, the lady at the till Thuli short for Thulisile that took our order was an energetic friendly person. The food was quick and the restaurant looks neat and clean. I would like to thank Thuli and the Nandos team. The drive thru was full and so was the restaurant and the team handled the pressure pretty good. Was at a Wonderpark branch a while back and also had the same type of service. Keep it up :)
On Thursday I went to Edgars in Kolonnade to exchange my shoes which had broke after I wore it one day. The lady working for Levis at Edgars told me that she would phone me as soon as she ordered the shoes and recieved them either on Friday or Monday as they have no stock in size 5, I have heard nothing since. The shoes are limited edition which is why I want this matter resolved quickly. I mean, you pay alot for a pair of Levis and the quality is suppose to be good.
I have been finding out from Vodacom to Vodacom store for a GREEN Sony Xperia Z5 and nobody can help me, the only colors they have available are white and black.<br> I cant understand because it is on the website and available to order but no stock of it. Please assist me in finding the GREEN Sony Xperia Z5 and soon.
I have repeatedly asked you guys to STOP sending me spam sms's as I am not a part of the incentive program and I do not work for Vodacom anymore. In fact I haven't worked for Vodacom for a year now. I have sent multiple emails and have not recieved any response. I know that I am removed from the program but I am still recieving sms's and I do have proof of this.
