In December we did our annual sabbatical down to Sedgies, but this time our objective was also to purchase a property in order to move down to Sedgefield before we lost our minds living in what was once a beautiful and functioning Pretoria~ So during the festive season we popped into the abundance of Estate Agencies and got little response and were shown some real 'non options'. With one exception, Adeline from Remax Lakes went out of her way to advise and spend time with us explaining the various 'nuances' of Sedgefield living with some sage advice offered. This was a surpise as I have previously had a negative experience with Remax and have since avoided this particular brand. Adeline takes the term 'going the extra mile' to the next level. She organised cleaners, she put us onto a great removal company that was 1/4 of the cost what the big boys were charging to move down from GP. She organised us a domestic and liaised with the seller on all our queries. Exceptional!!
What a positive experience! From Debbie handling logistics/clients to Aaron and his team of movers, all absolutely fantastic. My colleugue moved a few months earlier down to Knysna and she used one of the BIG moving companies and paid 4 times the amount we paid. They also went the extra mile and assisted with a smaller truck to get access into our new residence. I really cannot praise this organisation enough, they made what is normally and expensive and stressful exercise an absolute breeze, and the communication throughout the entire process was impeccable. The cherry on the top was that there was not a single bit of damage to any of our worldy possessions, not even a broken glass. This team lived up to their great reputation and using any other company would be absolute madness. Congrats to the entire team for a very scarce commodity in SA: 'Exceptional & Affordable Service'
I dealt with Buyiswa at the Cape Town call desk over the weekend as I was struggling to RICA etc. What a superstar, very patient, polite and I spent 50min on the phone with her, super competent and an asset to RAIN. I do however notice a lot of negatives on HP re this organisation and I am hoping RAIN can maintain the high standard set by their help desk employee Buyiswa.
My 640D went in recently for some minors body repairs. 1st impressions were not good and I expressed myself accordingly after I was given the impression by one of the staff that they had yet to proceed with the repair and there might be further quotes required which I correctly interpreted as stalling. After a quick face to face with Pedro (Manager) however, he quickly put my mind at rest, took responsibilty and took my dressing down on the chin, which I respected. Car was ready the next day, fully repaired and very clean in and out. I walked away feeling somewhat warm and fuzzy towards this service providor and do recommend them for anybody work on your vehicle. Well done Guys!
Having been with numerous short term insurers over the decades, I can state that these guys are in a class of their own. I have always said that the true mettle of an insurer is not in the low premium, rather its when you put in a claim that they show their true colours. Having many vehicles on my policy over the years, they have ALWAYS responded well to my claims, and make the process as painless as possible. I have never had a claim denied, and even when I did not have a 100% valid claim, for example smeone elses laptop stolen out my home, Attoh Insure, stepped up and still paid out, same with lawnmowers etc that we had no proof of ownership, they still stepped up, trusted me and paid. One gets the impression that they want to pay you out for your loss, whereas one gets the impression with most insurers that they are looking for reasons not to payout the claim. My Broker is a gentleman by the name of Reinart Debruyn, and he makes the little irritations of short term unsurance a completely pain free experience and is one of the best I have had the pleasure of being served by. Well done Guys~
shock and awe, SA not renowned for their good service, but guess what, I almost fell of my chair after reporting a stolen Mobile phone~ I emailed my Insure broker re the loss, he obviously escalated it to relevant department~ I received a call from claims help desk, gave all the details including case number and blacklist number, and within 5 minutes on the phone with this lady my claim was authorised< I was offered a couple of replacement phones and opted for direct payment less excess into my account. My son then opted for a cheaper phone and purchased a very expensive protein shake with the balance~ now that's service, well done Discovery, shame on you all the old school archaic insurers out there, times, they are a changing! Now we just need to get Discovery to run our country and we will all prosper!
