We took out an extended warranty on our Ford Ranger 2014 at BM Ford Bredasdorp March 2018. 5 Months later we had problems with the gearbox. We took the vehicle in to Ford Moorreesburg we are now waiting 5 weeks for our vehicle. Ford Moorreesburg won't release the vehicle because Advantage Motor Protector hasn't paid them. Before taking out a extended warranty with Advantage Motor Protector think twice you gone be without a vehicle for 5 weeks or longer. Every time you phoned them they waiting for the assesor or the assesors report now that the vehicle is fixed Advantage Motor Protector is not paying Ford Moorreesburg to releasing the vehicle.
Looks like you were very lucky. We took out an extended warranty on our Ford Ranger bakkie which expires in August 2019. The bakkies gearbox is making a noise. We have contacted numerous employee's and no one wants to help us. Eventually I phoned Mrs Steenkamp one of the owners. She said she would get back to me and so we wait for her call. We now sit with a 2014 bakkie with 154 000 kms on the clock always serviced on time which is broken and B and M Ford Bredasdorp just doesn't care because they have our money in there bank account .
We take out a extended guarantee/ warranty on a Ford Ranger at B + M Ford Bredasdorp. We phoned them yesterday regarding the extended guarantee no one could assist us. We phoned the owner Mrs Steenkamp she said first thing tomorrow morning she will phone us back with a speaker call with the technician that we can arrange what we can do about our bakkie. We can drive with it apparently it is the gearbox of the bakkie. We paid for the extended guarantee now when we have a problem no response.
We have a Ford Figo Ambiente 2013. We took the car for it's 40 000km service to Lazarus Ford Malmesbury. We mentioned to the service dept that the fuel gauge is not working like it should. When we full up the tank with petrol after 20km the gauge dropped to the three quarter mark. They told is they did fixed it. Every service we complain about the same problem they even book the car in for 3 days to "repair " the problem with the gauge. As you know after 4 years or 120 000km the new vehicle warranty you not benefits from the warranty. Well the petrol gauge problem is know even worst than every. With every service we complain about the petrol gauge know if this gauge have to be replaced we have to pay for it because Lazarus Ford will tell us the new vehicle warranty had expired. Unhappy with the service of Lazarus Ford.
On 1 December 2017 I phoned Catepillar Cape Town to order parts for our Catepillar bulldozer. I spoke to Jay Tee van Heerden he send me a quote for the parts and said they didn't have stock . If we wanted the parts we have to pay for the parts before they order. We then did the payment on the same day. Jay Tee said ot would take 10 days then we will have our parts after 10 days we try to contact Jay Tee again but he wouldn't return our calls. We then contact the parts manager he said Jay Tee was new and he will sort this matter out. On the 14 December 2017 Jay Tee informed us that they have received one of the parts but not the orher one. It's now 5 weeks later after numerous attempts by e mail Jay Tee still hasn't come back to us. This is pathetic service . Catepillar has receive our money and couldn't care if we got our parts or not and that our machine has been standing for nearly 2 months.
<p>We have been looking for a fan belt for our excavator. We phoned the following companies Isuzu,JCB,Midas,Autozone,Belt and Sprocket and BMG Montague Garden but nobody could help us. Eventually we phoned Tino at BMG Maitland at 16H30 he said he will make a plan and get us one.</p> <p>Next morning at 8H00 he phoned and said that the fan belt was there he had it fown down from Joburg.</p> <p>When we picked it up he was so friendly and helpfull. Thanks Tino for you excellent service. </p>
