A professional and painless experience received from getWorth in Cape Town Richmond Park branch for excellent work by Daniel for handling the purchasing of my fairly new Hyundai i10 Grand less than +/- 2000km. He punctual, friendly, honest, his explanation was clear and conscience. Would recommend getWorth for any 2nd hand purchase or selling experience . Well done!!!!
A huge thank you for the store Manager of Richmond Park Cape Town. We had finished our shopping & was approached by the store manager who politely asked us if we could please give the plant which he was holding ‘some love”. As it turned out, the plant with its plastic container was for free. He only wished that the plant be taken home & given ‘some love’ rather than throw them out as nobody was going to buy the ‘expired’ plant!!! Kudos to Pick ‘n Pay for sharing some love in December. Well done!!!
Took approximately 45 mins on the bank’s ‘service suite’ online yesterday to update a change of physical address?!?!?!??? It’s the worse form of communication ever provided to customers-frustrating and pathetic customer service #blackfriday
Tiger Milk restaurant in Century City is probably was the worse place anyone could ever think of trying to dine. The first thing should have been a huge clue - not hearing the other person on the phone whilst booking. Arriving at the venue was dismal to say the least. Music was so loud & the waitress wasn’t even able to hear our conversation- we promptly left!!!!! If there was a rating for this venue it would definitely be a minus!!!!!
There is no Builders Express, so, I’m going to write my review to the “Mother-ship”. 23 July 2025, looking for paint to complete my shed which I was building. The paint department was most helpful, up-to-the-point of being over zealous!!!! Upon closing the lid of the paint we had chosen, he used a hammer to close the lid & ending up splashing my brand-new white T-shirt with silver paint. After waiting for a manager-on-duty for about 10-15mins as he was gallantly outside the store at 11:00 in the morning, he eventually told me to write a statement & a picture was taken of my T-shirt. I was told that I would be refunded for my T-shirt. Today, I tried contacting the store at Willowbridge, without success! Held on for 15 minutes & eventually put the phone down. My question is how do shops in South Africa operate? No customer feedback to speak-of, no accountability for their lack of courtesy to paying customers!!!! Despite this I still bought the paint at Builders….. in hindsight I should have purchased it elsewhere….. I wonder if this review will ever come to light???
Online shopping experience. Disgusted with Plattekloof Pick n Pay. Thieving *******s!!!!!! No wonder they’re worth ZERO!!!! Had the audacity to charge me for goods which they didn’t have in stock, & didn’t delivery - however, quick to debit the full amount from my bank !!!! Once bitten twice shy….. there goes another loyal customer.
My review is purely from my perspective and the past two or three experiences which I have had at FLM. So, if you're want to continue attracting the clientele which you are synonymous for. I do suggest that your current suppliers namely Jan Braai (boerewors) in particular perhaps require a quality check of their products which you are supplying the clientele at least every few months. As the common saying goes, if you grow too fast too quickly things start going awry - I found the last few Jan Braai boerewors has been way too fatty, (more than 30% pork fat) & way too salty and definitely NOT good quality that was first introduced to the public about 13 years ago!!! UNFORTUNATELY, Jan Braai isn't my choice of boerewors any longer and I've had a few family members agreeing with my sentiment.
Money has been *****ulently removed from my account in March and April even after I cancelled my account with Checkers Sixty 60. The problem is only after ordering from them & of course paid the R99.00 delivery fee, a message popped up at they don't delivery in my area!!! Checkers refuses to refund the money for undeliverable services!!! Under R200.00 - WELL DONE CHECKERS - MAY THIS BUSINESS PROSPER BY ****** FUNDS FROM THE PEOPLE THAT ARE LOYAL CUSTOMERS!!! YOU WILL LOSE MORE CUSTOMERS AS THE DAYS GO BY.... DONT THINK SOUTH AFRICANS ARE FOOLS AND WILL BE COMPLACENT TO YOUR THEFT!!!!
Dealing with Estate Agents on the rental side of the spectrum is a completely different ball-game!!!!! You've got to have hair on your teeth & extremely thick-skin. The self-entitlement to dealing with these people has risen to a level of complete and utter dismal proportions!!!! A level of 'superiority' & 'disrespect' shown toward us is disgraceful. A whole day wasted on one particular lady whom I won't name on this platform, but most certainly will be mentioned when appropriate. The ridiculous fees charged by these Estate Companies is beyond anything I've ever experienced!! Watch out people, make sure you read the complete notice before applying & then make sure that you're their first client or else you'll be wasting good money after bad!!!! So sad, that this probably won't get the attention is deserves... PEOPLE BE WARNED
I had the displeasure of dealing with numerous estate agents - most unprofessional, lack of email communication between oneself and future customer, courtesy calls are unheard on any kind of level, the list is ongoing and the frustrations dealing with this industry seems dismal to say the least!!!! What happens from the moment these rentals get published for rentals in Cape Town & surrounding areas???? The agents sit in their offices or now more recently 'virtual' offices, doing what, heaven knows? It's an absolutely huge joke on how they function. My first contact was 10/1/2025 - today 15/1/2025 I get informed via email that there is already an approved application, but I've never been given an opportunity after I asked on my first email for an application to complete for consideration on the unit advertised. EAAB should seriously start investigating how these estate agents work, they will find huge discrepancies and total lack of work ethic!!!!!!
